Had a very awesome experience getting my tires replaced here. Customer Service is a HUGE decider for whether or not I patronize a business and I must say that the customer service here is excellent! Genuine and honest car guys! I highly recommend; upfront and they don't try to upsell you!!! Had a slow leak in a front tire from a nail, so I took my car to Big O. The attendant there faked like he felt the screw and told me my tires were way too thin and that a repair was "impossible". I don't know a ton about cars, but I do know tires usually last around 40-50k miles, and I was at 27k; seemed a little shady. then quoted me 2 and 4 tires b/c I have AWD, $350, 650 respectively. He told me to check his prices compared to everyone else, so I did. Then I went to Baja and the younger fella was extremely helpful; instantly telling me the tire was easily repairable. They had me in and out in under 30 mins, along with another customer. I THOUGHT I had to get a new tire but the guys told me that they'd be able to fix it for a fifth of the price. I opted to get a new tire anyway, just to be safe, but I appreciated their honesty. I love being able to go to a place and know they won't rip me off just because i'm a girl. This is where i go to get my tires patched, i got a full set of new tires for a very good price about a year ago. And last week when i was freaking out thinking my alignment was shot, they told me i probably just needed my tire to be balanced. low and behold, i was driving on a deadly tire due to a crazy camping trip a couple weeks before. they put my spare on and ordered me a new tire and everything was taken care of completely the next day. they have good service, i've noticed they've become friendly as i've gone more. they have exceptional prices! it's a small shop so they can only do one car at a time. but if i call and let them know i'm coming in at lunch they make sure they accomodate my time crunch. read more

I actually have never been to a tire shop and searched yelp to help me find one nearby. TWO tires shop popped up. H&J and Baja Tires! I didn't know which one to choose. I however read the reviews for both and decided upon Baja Tires. I called and they immediately answered to answer any questions that concerned my 2008 Toyota Corolla. I then decided to proceed to drive to the shop and get rotation done and with the help of their sons, I was able to get in and out in a matter minutes. Sunday evening going north on 101 in Sausalito I got a nail in my tire. So Monday I go to the tire center where I bought the tires. No they don't offer anything. Just asking for $36 AND it would be an hour and a half wait! So off I go to The Best Place in San Rafael which is Baja Tire. I pulled in and waited 30 Seconds for the guy to say, "sure, I'll do Now"! It was $20. I was there 15 minutes because I stayed chatting with the owner Alphonzo telling him to raise his price! We have used Baja Tire for years to fix many flat tires on our trucks that are always on construction sites. You can also buy new tires, as we did for my mom's van.
