Time for a review, I have been to this place twice for a popped tire, the first time I thought for sure it was toast, but they were able to patch it. The second time, (different tire) I thought once again, for sure I needed a new tire...low and behold, they fixed it again! So when it came to getting new tires, I didn't hesitate.... I called H&J and I had decided to get 4 new tires, I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Brought her in, signed the estimate and off to lunch I went. About an hour goes by and John calls me to say my back 2 tires have lots of life left so I only needed 2. He'll rotate them and check the alignment. When I picked her up, he said the alignment was fine and didn't need adjusting. I can't express the gratitude I have for the honesty of the guys who work there. I could have easily been sold everything I was expecting without needing it yet. I am married to an honest tradesman, which means I hear the stories of the deceitful people who take advantage whenever possible. Discovered what I suspected was a slow leak in a tire and need it repaired the same day. I dropped by a few hrs before closing (without an appointment) and they were able to find and fix the leak (small nail hole) quickly and affordably. Ok real talk, I'd been ignoring a little warning light about tire pressure on my dashboard for a solid year. I knew it was just a problem with the sensor, but then how would I know if I really did have low tire pressure? I mean aside from checking frequently, which ... is not my thing. Last time someone ran those diagnostics, they told me two of the sensors were malfunctioning, so I got a quote from these fine folks to replace both. Except time had passed and now three of the sensors were dead, with the fourth likely on its way out, too. The quote for all four sensors was twice what I'd expected to spend that day (the math does check out, thank you!) and what I really appreciated is that there was zero pressure (no pun intended!), just plenty of support. I didn't feel rushed to make a decision as I was working through my feelings about whether that kind of money was worth the peace of mind. 8/22/23 dropped in towards the end of the work day hoping to get a flat tire patched. The technician had just finished up with another vehicle and immediately began working on my car. The work was not rushed, but carefully and methodically taken care of. There are both indoor seating, and a decent shaded outdoor area with a couple seats to wait. Or you could always take a walk in the neighborhood instead. The gentleman (owner?) who took care of payment after the work was completed, was kind. These guys are awesome. I've used them for new tires as well as tire patches on a bunch of my cars now. They are old school, and still introduce themselves by their first name when they answr the phone, just like I was taught to do years ago when I had my first job in a store. They recently replaced my 20" wheels and tires on my van with a new set of 17" Michelins after Costco refused to do it. Just today, I called them because we were about to leave for a trip to Tahoe and I discovered a nail in my tire. I called them at 7:45, (they don't open until 8am). Sure enough, John answered the phone anyway. I told him what was going on and he got me in right at 830 and had it patched and ready to go promptly. These guys are the honest type of shop that will tell you if you need new tires, or if you should rotate them to get another 5-10k out of them. They won't sell you something that you don't need. I got my alignment done with H&J because I had replaced my control arms and CV Axle. I scheduled an appointment and so didn't have any wait. I chose to wait in their waiting area while my car was worked on - they have guest WiFi access which is nice so I was able to work while waiting. My alignment was pretty off considering I had some parts replaced recently. At first it seemed the car was fine but after driving for some time on highway it felt like the car was pulling. I took it to the mechanic that replaced my parts thinking there was some other issue and he said I should take it back to H&J. Turns out the alignment was still off and H&J realigned everything free of charge as part of their labor warranty. My car runs well now. I recommend H&J for alignments and as a business. read more

They were able to quickly assess my tire needs, and fit me in for the very next day. Jared, a staff member, even provided me transportation to and from home so that I could do what I needed to do while my tire was being serviced. Jared really took the time and professional courtesy to time his pick up/drop off that fit my tight schedule; he also put mats on the floor to protect my vehicle carpet! They quoted me two prices and I decided on the less costly option for similar quality as the high priced tire. As a female, I appreciate the fact that H&J Tire was honest with sales options for tires and didn't just give me only the most expensive option to choose from. We have used H & J Tire for the past few changes on different cars, and each time they have been friendly, efficient, and less expensive than the dealers. This last time, my special tires needed to be ordered and they received them a day and a half later. I dropped my car off and they called less than 2 hours later. John is super awesome and friendly. Good value and excellent service on an alignment. I bought tires from Costco because I had a rebate credit and also it was $150 off for a set. But Costco doesn't do alignments. I called another big name shop and they wanted more for an alignment and also couldn't get me in right away. John got me in the day I return back to town. Who just needed to get my tire pressure right and turn off my tire pressure indicator, No was treated given more attention than I've ever had in Hi John the owner explained to me that Even after filling your tires with air air thr tire pressure indicator light does not go off...You need to He turned it off At a tire store! I did not know this and would've kept filling it with air until they exploded! Ha ha. He had this very expensive electronic gizmo that he touched to each of my tires... And like magic , Because he had already set the pressure accurately with a very specific inflating machine, it turned the tire pressure indicator off. I offered him money... But he declined. I had heard good things about H&J. I went in to get a brake job for my daughters car. They were busy but said they would look at it and call back with a quote. They called and let me know that she has 75% left on her brakes. Wow what honest people. They suggested rotating the tires. So we had the tires rotated. They said the tires look good.
