Originally stumbled on these at a farmers market. I personally prefer the OG over the pistachio and s'mores. Their cookies are on the pricey side but size wise, they are more generous. The problem with the big cookie is it gets overwhelmingly sweet. An additional issue when you get more than you can handle. Found myself saving them for 3+ days. They do fare better after a short 5-10 sec in the microwave. They usually soften up a bit if you prefer the softer / gooer texture. I would have preferred more of a graham cracker taste with the s'mores. As the marshmallow itself is already sweet. There wasn't anything special about the Dubai Pistachio in my opinion. There barely any Pistachio which was disappointing. The shop has a selection of drinks that I didn't get the try but next time, I'll like just share one or two with someone and grab a drink instead.

I was nearby for an appointment and got to stop in at Bak'd as my sweet treat reward. I had only previously visited them at farmers markets so it was nice to see their storefront operation! I got a drink and cookie and both satisfied my craving. Easiest to access via sapperton sky train otherwise parking can be limited. Birthday cookie was to die for!

Huge fan! I've been supporting Bak'd Cookies since I stumbled upon them in a farmers market. It was to the point where every time I found them at a festival, I had to buy one of their cookies. And now they finally have a brick and mortar and I couldn't be happier! A permanent shop to visit and enjoy their sweet creations, plus now they've got drinks on the menu too! And it's only steps away from Sapperton station. Let's talk about their legendary cookies. They are delectable. If you like chunky cookies, that are ever so slightly crispy on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside, these cookies will rock your world. They are about the size of a palm and thick. I'd totally recommend splitting one so that you can try more. The flavours are plentiful, you've got to try the OG Chocolate Walnut, I have a special spot for the Matcha Latte, and the Earl Grey & Honey is perfect with a hot drink. Now that drinks are a thing to consider, I just tried their Iced Matcha Strawberry Latte and their Hot Cookie Latte. They were both yummy in their own way. The matcha strawberry combo, well there's a reason it's one of their customer faves. And the cookie latte was gorgeous with colourful sprinkles on top and tasted like a sugar cookie coffee baby. Bak'd also caters! I have to shout them out as we had them cater cookies for our wedding dessert. They delivered, and we had a variety of flavours, each was cut into quarters. We received tons of compliments and guests loved trying the different cookies and comparing notes trying to come up with which one was best. (Sidenote, they all are the best!) Having Bak'd cookies was definitely a highlight of our special day. So after all of that, if you haven't yet tried Bak'd Cookies, do yourself a favor and change that.

Honestly a bit unimpressed - cookies were $5.75 each which is very high even though the cookies are a bit larger than the typical. I tried the regular chocolate chip that looks nice with a soft chocolate center, but the cookie itself was not too fresh and a bit hard (not crunchy, just felt a bit stale). The cookie is definitely quite sweet and satisfying, but not the best out there. We also tried the strawberry milk that is quite sweet and decent but not worth the $6+ price tag. We did go near closing so that may be a factor.

    Get these until Feb 14th!

One of the best gourmet cookie places around. Service is quick and they have Dash as well if you need a fix right away.

The selection of desserts was quite good and everything looked delicious. We selected two different items to share: a chocolate cake and the other was earl grey. I loved how they were not overly sweet. The earl grey one had grapefruit inside, which unfortunately my friend cannot eat so he was a little disappointed that I got to have more of this one. Lucky for me, I don't have that problem! The piece of grapefruit on top should have been a clue, but he didn't notice it when we were ordering. haha I did find the combination a bit unusual but I enjoyed it nonetheless as I love both grapefruit and earl grey tea! Service appears to be restricted to counter service, so you order at the counter and take your food and drinks to a table. It was really busy in the cafe but we managed to snag the last open table. Because it was so crowded, it was a little difficult to carry on a normal conversation. Not deafening, just quite lively. The coffee was good - but word of advice, make sure you let them know if you want to add milk or cream as they do fill your cup to the brim! I would probably return to try some of their other desserts because I find most places a bit too sweet for me. Definitely recommend this spot.

Makes it a great choice to finish off an evening with friends or to bring home. Their flavours are great and they add in new ones regularly! My favourite is the hotteok, highly recommend. Well I took the fish shaped waffle off the soft serve and ate the sorbet with a spoon then took a bite out of my waffle fish! Apparently after watching everyone else around me, you're supposed to just bite the waffle while it sits atop the soft serve. Oh well I guess I'll have to come back and try it that way next time! The soft serve is very light and the flavours are delicate. The waffle is really yummy with a soft chew. It's a busy and popular spot filled with teens and twenty somethings. The lineup moves pretty quickly but seats are often taken. Tables don't get wiped down often as staff are busy making cones but you can always ask them to wipe it down for you. Great dessert place for something light and refreshing.
