I have friends who have been telling me great things about Bake n Bacon so I decided to finally stop in this weekend and see for myself. JACKPOT!!!! Bake n Bacon is the absolute TRUTH! Everything from the vibe the minute you walk through their doors, the design and decor, the menu, the cocktails, the bar, the music, the food .... I could go on and on but this is absolutely one of the best dining experiences I've had in 2025! Our server was such a doll too! She was so friendly and patient as we weren't sure what we wanted to order since everything sounded amazing. She made recommendations for appetizers and entrees based on our likes and she knew exactly what she was talking about because the Asian Ginger wings were SLAMMING!!!! The wings were fried perfectly and seasoned to perfection ... naked bones were all that was left on the plate lol. And our entrees .... WOOOOWEEEE! Literally finger licking good! I intentionally didn't eat all of my pasta because I wanted to be able to have leftovers to eat the next day lol. The serving size also made that possible because it was generous, but we all know cooking pasta and lobster perfectly fine s tricky but they managed to do it! I also can't forget about the cocktails which we had a few of ... all oh so very creative and packing a nice punch (& the bartenders were all fun)! We sat at the bar after we finished dining because there was also a DJ by the name of DJ Shizz playing hit after hit after hit and entertaining the crowd which was like the cherry on top of the experience. Like I said from the beginning, an absolute VIBE in this place! We will definitely be back and can't wait!

I should have read the reviews on Yelp rather than Google reviews prior to coming... had I done my research I would never have stepped foot in here. Similar to another recent review, I ordered the wagyu burger for $28, waited for oddly over 35 minute with only 1 other table inside (red flag already), to receive a dry, burnt, tasteless beef burger I would have happily enjoyed better at any fast food chain. Aside from their signature hanging bacon that begs for a photo op, stay clear of ordering a burger at this place and with no acknowledgement of their scam, frankly speaking, by calling the beef as "wagyu" to upcharge. Saving grace, our waitress was very sweet.

    Delicious food!

Great food and even better vibes! We got there late, but they still accommodated us without hesitation--which made the experience even more sizzling. The cornbread was sweet and comforting, the lobster mac was rich and indulgent, and the Bacon Bacon? Let's just say it brought home the bacon in the best way possible. I loved every bite!

If you have any reservations about trying it out, just throw it away. 5/5 experience coming here for my birthday brunch after a weekend in Philly. The service was great and they accommodated a large party last minute. Everyone enjoyed their food which shouldn't be a hard task, but restaurants miss the mark these days, so major kudos to them. I'll definitely return when in the area.

Intimate & Classy location for brunch! We got a breakfast pizza & (not your typical) Chicken & Waffles. Everything was delicious and the chicken was well flavored. Don't get spooked by the asian ginger. It was a savory surprise. They started out as a food truck and recently opened up their brunch menu ~2 months ago. Next up: trying their hanging bacon

Who tf doesn't love bacon? Meat lovers, vegetarians, even no pork eaters can resist the smell and taste of this delicacy. The set-up of Bake n' Bacon is multi-level. Love the wallpaper, none signage, modern decor of the drink glasses and lighting. The bar must definitely be an attraction during the week and for wine Wednesday. Our server was attentive and gave great suggestions. Everyone in my group loved their selection. I ordered the biscuits & sausage gravy, chicken and waffles, and burnet ends bacon and washed it all down with the morning wood cocktail. The bacon grease logo is a creative touch.

Overall A-OK. I came for Happy Hour and was with friends and had the buffalo chicken dip and the burnt pork ends. I did not find either to be remarkable, and the nachos for the dip had a few that were a bit stale. The ambiance is great and I would be willing to return for the full dinner or even brunch; hopefully those meal times have more of a WOW factor.

The ambiance was very nice. Service was excellent, on point. The food was good, but the waffles was a little salty which takes away from the waffle but other then that I would go back if or when I'm in the area

Leaving review during the meal. The server was nice but the manager was rude. I ordered the hanging bacon it came out cold like straight from the fridge. I explained this to the server. Shortly after the manager came over in a scolding manner he explained how fast the food came out. ' I timed the order it was turned around in 4 minutes it's now 25 minutes later". Excuse me I prayed and began to eat. Not to mention we were seated at 6:55 ordered drinks at 7:00 and appetizers at 7:05. At 7:17 is when he went over the turnaround time. The time ain't timing, and the math ain't mathing! My husband bacon was warm and he IS NOT A COMPLAINER said 'that feels like it's out the fridge'!

Absolutely delicious food and great, friendly service. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be going back. The French Toast was absolutely amazing, as was the savory waffle. Don't sleep on the Bacon Burnt Ends! Those alone are worth a visit.

I went to dinner on a Thursday evening with my girlfriends and boy did we stumble upon a gem!! It's a Black owned establishment that did not disappoint!! The ambiance is very calm and the music was fitting for the environment. The place wasn't packed but definitely had a nice crowd. Now, the name is bake n bacon so of course you may assume that there are only bacon options. Nope! Their menu caters to many eating preferences! (Check out the pic of the menu). Our server was Richard who was very attentive, gave us suggestions and made sure that we had a great dining experience. Now, the food! 10/10! Everything was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. I had a small issue with my mussels but the food was so good it's not even worth mentioning! As you can see in the pictures the food did not disappoint! The entrees don't come with bacon, however, as Richard told us, you can add bacon to anything!! I left stuffed and happy. I'm telling everyone to tell somebody to tell somebody else to get to south Philly for these delicious eats!

From the outside you can't tell that it has a fun tropical/tiki vibe going on. Maybe it was just for summer, but it was really fun! The servers and bartenders were all in tropical shirts, and there were other tiki touches without going full-blown Tiki Bar. The bathrooms were interesting. All the stalls are unisex, single stall, and then the sink is a big trough outside all the stalls. Unconventional, but it works. We both ordered beers - we had the Summer Love and the Philly First. Both were really good! We shared them so we could both enjoy some of each. To eat, my husband ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with fries, and I had the spicy Buddha bowl. Chicken Caesar wrap was good (hard to screw that up), and we both thought the fries were pretty good. Not the best I've ever had or anything, but good, enjoyable fries. The Buddha bowl, however, was outstanding! Cilantro rice, edamame, carrots, red cabbage, broccolini, and I added chicken for protein. It was the perfect level of spice, and a really nice balance of veggies to rice to protein. 10/10, would order again! I'm probably going to end up trying to recreate it at home. The only note I have for it (and it's super minor) is that it could maybe have a sweet or tart note added. Mandarin oranges, mango, pineapple... something like that. I would absolutely recommend stopping here! Next time we're in town I will go out of my way to go again.
