Had a good solid lunch experience here. The bartender/server was really nice, the inside was clean, nicely decorated, had some bright natural light and had plenty of table options. I chose to sit at the bar and had a great view of the TVs. The beer list had a diverse craft offering. I stuck with Maine Lunch (one of my all time favs), it was fresh and tasted as it should (good sign they are having their lines cleaned). The menu had a lot of great choices. My eyes kept wandering to the Cubano Sandwich and the bartender had that on the top of her recommendation list - $18.00 House braised pulled pork, hot ham, swiss cheese topped with pickles, jalapenos & a dijonnaise mustard on a ciabatta roll. It came out quickly and the roll was amazing. I believe the bartender said the rolls were from Baker Street Bread Co in Chestnut Hill. The pork and ham were portioned well and the rest of the flavors were balanced. It was a sizable sandwich and very good. I would order it again ($18 is a bit steep!). The fries were ok. The rest of the sandwiches, salads and small sides on the menu are certainly worthy of a repeat trip. I found parking on Front Street about a block or so away. On a nice day I would take advantage of the outside tables with umbrellas or under the awning. The bathrooms were a bit tight and somewhat clean. Probably the only part of the experience that wasn't good/great. Can't go wrong here though. Good food, TVs with sports, quick and friendly service and a great beer list. Thanks guys! read more

1/4/25 Came in for the chicken salad and also had to get the potato soup. Was able to grab open spot at bar and was able to start with a nice non heavy beer. The soup came out first which was good, wish I had hot sauce lol. The chicken salad I got with sweet potato fries and this was really good, I love sweet potato fries and the chicken salad very solid. I'll have to come back to try some other items like the fish n chips but would get this again lol. Always good to find a good one in the city. Not bad. Not great. Just fine. I ordered the "Chef's special burger". It changes every day, they say. On this occasion, it had pickled vegetables and spicy mayo. Let me say - the burger was very tasty. I really enjoyed it. However, it was very small. It wasn't the size of a slider, but it wasn't much bigger than that. Really kinda shocking. The service was odd. We had 2 waitresses. One of the waitresses was excellent. The other seemed inconvenienced by us. Not sure what to make of that. I really enjoy the spot, tho. It is a fairly nice bar on the inside (we sat outside). Also, can't beat free, available parking. Big fan of that. I'll go back. I won't go out of my way to visit, but if someone asks me to go then I will. Not a bad price and beer selection, and there are things on the menu I will enjoy. read more

We honestly thought this was going to be a dive so were pleasantly surprised upon walking in. It's really a lovely little spot that's more of a restaurant than a bar. We did not eat but I saw a lot of food leaving the kitchen that looked delicious. Great big portions from what I could tell and it all seemed prepared to order. They have a nice craft beer selection as well as martinis, which is my jam. The bartender was very pleasant and helpful. One thing I want to note is how exceptionally clean this restaurant was. So glad we found this neighborhood gem!! The sweet potato fries were delicious!! The impossible burger was A++. The beef burger was also quite good. I can't forget the hummus!!! COVID-19 UPDATE: Came here on Saturday because I saw them post their aperol spritz slushie (slushy?) drink on Instagram and was lured by the heat and I must say that they are doing a FANTASTIC job with all of this. There was social distancing, all of the employees had masks on, and they were super happy and friendly. I adore this place so much and just HAD to go back and get a 6 pack and some wings to-go. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the neighborhood (or even if you're not). The first time we ordered, my husband got the Nachos worth pork, and I got the cream of potato soup and a Caesar salad. The nachos were great, really hot the spot. The salad was fresh and your typical Caesar salad, the croutons were on point. The soup was okay, but it needed a little something. I ended up adding some crushed red pepper to give it some extra flavor. The next time we ordered we, again, got the nachos, which were still great. We also ordered fried chicken tenders, the jumbo pretzel, and the Turkey Club. Chicken tenders were excellent, really flavorful, juicy, and crisp on the outside. The pretzel was also really good. Great texture, and perfectly salted. We also really enjoyed the dipping sauces. The turkey club was also delicious. The turkey was very fresh, paired well with the cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and creamy avocado with a super flavorful chipotle Mayo. Definitely an elevated version of the classic turkey club. In town for March Madness games and this place was a brunch suggestion. Well worth the time and money. My friend had the western omelet and I had the breakfast sandwich. Food and service was all very good. There were some loud locals in the house that was distracting and the bartender probably contributed to that. I think everyone in the neighborhood is happy for this hot-spot. Your somewhat typical Irish bar, located in a convenient location for walkers, this spot always seems to be busy. They have basic outdoor seating with a view of a fairly busy intersection. The menu is made up of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees all between $10-$20 dollar mark. They do keep a dozen or so drafts on tap for quenching your thirst, all in the $4-$8 dollar mark. I personally think their menu leaves a bit to be desired with some healthier options. And their service is good, but not spectacular. If in the area, I would recommend this place. If you're more than a .5 mile walk, chances are there is a place just like this or better near you. read more

The upstairs is a fun intimate space very cozy. There is also outside seating I found the staff very warm and friendly service was quick and attentive. This is obviously a neighborhood hang and many people know each other but the vibe warm welcoming and the regulars friendly The food is really good not the usual (bar food) but upscale barfood. The chicken quesadilla was very tasty but I found the pico that came with it a tad spicy.
