A must try and spot to be a regular at. Came today for the first time while visiting a friend and everything about the experience was fantastic. From the friendly host to the waitress who went above and beyond for us the service was amazing. The ambiance is very laid back and enjoyable. The space looks eclectic and clean. Most importantly the food was delicious, fairly priced and well portioned. We order honey teriyaki wings, truffle fries, bang bang shrimp and chicken pot pie egg rolls. It was all amazing , well balanced flavors and unique. We ordered some draft beers and a blood orange margarita, the margarita was a little weak but nevertheless enjoyable and pretty much everything was a happy hour deal which made it all the more amazing. Walked into chicks the other day and was super impressed with the experience! Seriously found a gem! It was a nice day out so they had the big garage door open which made the place feel big! We sat at the bar and the bartender was super nice and quickly told us happy hour ended in 5 mins so to get our orders in. We got wings (Buffalo sauce) and a cap may IPA. The happy hour deal for the wings was 5 for $8 which isn't amazing for the quantity but the quality was insane! Genuinely these were the best wings I've had in a while. The buttery, flavorful buffalo sauce was probably the tastiest sauce I've ever had! Plus they were cooked perfectly. Sometimes you want a really crispy wing and they over cook it and you get a dried out wing, this WAS NOT the case. These wings so crispy but meaty and it fell right off the bone. The food is consistent, the ambiance is both restaurant and sports bar. the bartenders and servers are cool.....they seem like neighborhood folks. however, my last time eating there almost made me not want to return. this review is more about one particular bartender. I wasn't planning on writing a review however because I like this place, I feel it's important to make mention of things that could hurt business. I don't know his name, but the bald bartender with the goatee and arm tattoos was simply horrible. He acted like he didn't want to be there. he never gave me water......when he asked what would like, I asked for a menu, I shouldn't have to ask.....typically I am asked "would you like to see a menu". He seemed to have an attitude since I didn't order a drink. When he gave me the menu he sorta just slapped it on the bar and he walked away to prepare a drink for a woman. She had to ask for a new glass because the one he was using had lipstick on it. His response to her was "it was your glass right?"....she responded "I'm not wearing any lipstick".....anyways, when I placed my order, he literally gave a "hurry up" sort of hand gesture, as if I was taking too long......I asked for chipotle wings, and before I could say something else he was at the kiosk putting the order in, wih his back to me...I asked for a Caesar salad as well but wasn't sure if he heard me or not. then he proceeds to slap some plastic ware on the bar, refill another customers water glass and here I am still with no water. He didn't even ask if I wanted to order a drink, in fact he never engaged with me at all to see if my food was ok etc. I witnessed him going back and forth with the servers .......I say all of that to say....poor customer service will have people not return and tell others not to patronize a place. I worked in food service for many years. I have been to chicks numerous time and this was the worst experience I had there....food was still good, but that one bartender makes y'all look bad. to be fair......it was sort of busy, but I have seen it busier in there. He may not have been the regular bartender, or perhaps he is used to a more dive bar type of situation. perhaps he was just filling in and just tryna get thru the shift......I can understand any of that but that is no excuse for poor customer service. read more

I came to chick's with a friend during brunch. We did not connect a Sunday in early January, with the Eagles game, and it was nuts. However the staff was super accommodating and made a table for us. Our server, Alexa was super kind and went above and beyond for my friend and I. For example, we were splitting a breakfast burrito and she had the kitchen split one order onto two plates, thus saving us that messy job! The fries were absurdly delicious!! Also the burrito was super flavorful and generously filled. The one portion was plenty for me and a friend to share. We also had drinks which were affordably priced and served cold. For a restaurant during the game, it was not that loud nor crowded feeling despite the number of bodies inside the restaurant. After not visiting in maybe over a year, I wasn't aware that they no longer had the salmon BLT on the menu which I specifically came for. After I shared this with the server/ host, he said he would check with the cook to see if it was possible to still get. Well he/ they delivered! I also believe that Chicks has thee BEST fries, hands down! *My only complaint that I have to mention as it did NOT go unnoticed is that I stayed way after paying the bill. I was beating the 95 degree heat and staying hydrated. The place was pretty empty as it was early in the afternoon so I don't believe I was holding up the table. I couldn't help but notice that although I was still sitting there, the said server/ host never came back to replenish my water. Prior to, he came over @ least 5x's to fill it up after every sip. He looked @ my glass several times as it was getting empty and even refilled a glass @ the table across from. On a hot day like this as a courtesy, I would think the water would still be refilled. I came here with 5 people (6 total) and got two champagne kits (brunch), everyone got an entree, plus one extra plate to share. We each spent something like $40 per person. I recommend the chicken and waffles, the cannoli French toast was also delicious, unfortunately the steak and eggs were overcooked (asked for medium well) and got a small portion, no butter was provided for that plate (came with toast), the rest of the food was good and came out without too much delay.
