My friends MIL was visiting. So we wanted to find a cute breakfast spot to catch up. We found this little spot and I'm so glad we did! The food was amazing! I got the shack slam. I was shocked that the toppings were included at no extra cost. The best banana pancakes I've ever had! We split one of the cinnamon buns. They were huge! I'd caution that the restaurant is very small, so it probably isn't suited for tables larger than 4. However, service is super quick so maybe order to go? We took a matcha latte to go. I found parking right away and the first thing I saw upon entry was a huge tray of Cinnamon rolls. I bought two large ones with glaze. They had so many other delicious looking pastries, baked goods and desserts in the cabinet right when you walk in. I wanted to buy everything! I had a few meetings and ended up eating with my husband later in the day and it was really out of this world delicious. One of the best cinnamon rolls we've ever had. I've been dying to try their cinnamon rolls, so I finally caved. This is a cute little spot where you order and sit down. Today, I carried out. As I waited for my order, I realized it is super popular. I got two bacon egg and cheese wraps and a cinnamon roll to go. They quickly prepared my food and off I went. When my husband and I dug in at home, we were very pleased. All the ingredients were evenly dispersed throughout the wrap! I'd definitely order again or be interested in ordering and sitting down. They had plenty of other baked goods, including fancy donuts. All of these are on display from the moment you walk in the door. However, today was all about the cinnamon roll. When I finally got to enjoy it, I warmed it up and dug in. Boy, was it delightful. Most importantly, it was perfectly moist. Not a dry bit of pastry to be found. This is one of the best breakfast spots in Broward County. It's a small quaint, little mom and pop type of spot. There's a small parking lot on the side which fills up very quickly on the weekends, especially between 10 and 12. You can choose to dine in, but it does get very crowded. Or you can place an order for takeout online or over the phone. Their pancakes are incredible, and so are all of their baked goods. The pancakes come with this delicious homemade syrup and eggs and a breakfast meat for only around $13. I'd say that's a deal. My favorite thing to get is the cinnamon roll or a donut. I also love their coffee. Their iced horchata latte is absolutely incredible with just the right amount of cinnamon. I got the shack starter with soft scrambled eggs and turkey sausage and a side of avocado. The plate comes with potato's which were yummy and a side of toast. Eggs were soft and delicious and the potato's were my favorite part! My fiancé got the chocolate chip banana pancakes, they were delicious. And our friend got the French toast which he loved. For drinks we got chai lattes & caramel iced coffee, it was better than Starbucks as it was homemade and actually tasted great! We all enjoyed brunch and would definitely come back next time and try their freshly baked donuts and cookies!! I wish they had had some gluten free bread, wraps, or even baked goods. But if you're gluten free like me the shack starter besides the bread is gluten free and very filling. Finally grabbed breakfast here after pickle ball on a week day, I have always stayed away on the weekend due to worries it is too small and busy! Had no trouble today getting right in to order and get a seat to enjoy our food. We shared a Boston cream donut, cold foam coffee, and the California egg sandwich. I thought we had ordered bacon on our sandwich but it was not added. Sandwich was actually lighter than we had thought. The egg was slightly runny and it came with lettuce tomato and avocado. We could not taste the aioli sauce at all, think they forgot to place that on the sandwich too. Overall I'd probably try another sandwich next time as the one we got there was nothing special to it.
