Their baked goods are to die for. I've purchased several custom made pies and a variety of breakfast items. Always fantastic.

Well, this was a lovely, friendly, small, down home kinda place. Someone wrote that it's vegan friendly, though, and it's not. As for dining, it's not really vegetarian friendly. Even baked potato soup was full of bacon. So if you're carnivorous, by all means, all reports are tasty. In warmer days they have tables and chairs outside. read more

This is a great cafe. I had a Jersey 50/50 with half pastrami and half corned beef on toasted marble rye. It was fantastic. The turkey green chile panini was awesome also. They have breakfast items and incredible pastries also. Highly recommend this place. read more

Great service, friendly faces, quick service. Burritos with green chili sauce are excellent, large and very filling. I got green chili sauce on the side because I'm not a fan of spicy and didn't want to ruin it, but it wasn't too spicy at all. Full of flavor and I recommend smothering burrito next time. French toast we opted without the strawberry topping, next time will definitely get the topping. read more

Came in here yesterday AM for breakfast with the fam...I thought it had recently opened, but the nice owners said they opened about 6 1/2mo's ago actually! So glad to see they're making it :) First walked in and immediately drawn to the pastry case. Lemon pies, scones, cookies, oh my! I landed on a cinnamon roll cuz they're my weakness...but wanted something hardier than sweets for breakfast, so I checked out the rest of the bfast menu. Breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and scrambles fill out the menu. I ended up with the eggwich with real bacon and it was great!! I ordered and it came up pretty quick...I also ordered the cinnamon roll at the same time and funny enough, the sandwich came faster than the roll! It was a great way to end the meal though...after I ordered, I grabbed a for-here mug for coffee and filled up on the fresh brew. As previously mentioned, the food came quick and it was delicious. When the guy dropped off our food, he also grabbed the coffee pot to fill our coffee...wow, thanks! Really nice since this is mostly self-serve. The cinnamon roll could use a tad more frosting IMO and I let them know frosting is the best part so load it on :) Really reasonable prices and the staff was friendly. A couple of tables outside for seating...which was great since it was a nice morning. I know my in-laws will definitely be returning...I would too if i lived closer. I was looking for some good food when I stumbled across this place. My friends and I drove up to this strip mall with an assortment of businesses & restaurants. My friends opted for Chinese buffet... I on the other hand went on my own path to Baked and was not disappointed! I got the 1/2 pastrami 1/2 corned beef. Outstanding!! A perfect blend slaw & a big pile of beef with a nice smokey flavor. Spot on! I did, however have a tough decision because of how many other great choices there were on the menu. Breakfast all day!! all in all.. Baked is a place I can't wait to go back to. read more

I am always happy with my food from Baked. They make epic baked treats and delectable sandwiches. All the meat is house cured, as I understand it. Stupendous! I am partial to their biscuits and gravy, their Jersey half-n-half, and anything dripping with sugary awesomeness that comes out of their oven. Take some of their cheddar and chili biscuits home with you if you want to make B-n-G at home. It is the only way to have it. I am not sure why I haven't given this place a good review before today. Very good/exceptional. Nice to find a small place that is run by locals with care and pride. As the name says, the Bake their own stuff. BUT - even make their own English Muffins. Special treat is also their meats, they cure their own meats, the chorizos is really good as is the Canadian Bacon. Good parking and access, outdoor seating, free wifi. I love this place! The Jersey half and half is my favorite sandwich and it consists of pastrami, corned beef and delicious coleslaw on homemade rye. Both Woody and Jodi take pride in their baked goods and sandwich's. Everything is reasonably priced. Also they have a different special each day so don't forget to look. I got a veggie panini and asked if they had avocado, they said yes but I that I couldn't have any because he wanted to save it for his specials, but they were only open another half hour-- how many specials would be ordered in a half hour? This place was ok, not bad just ok. The baked goods were ok, they all had to much almond flavor even the cinnamon rolls. The coffee cake was stale but the ginger cookie was good. The coffee was average diner coffee nothing to brag about. This place is in a very small town, Bayfield Colorado. I would think they would do a better job with their pastries and coffee. We were disappointed with the quality of food and the service was cold and unfriendly. The staff seemed bugged by a few questions and didn't seem like they cared whether or not they had customers that didn't live there. They did talk to what you can tell are locals. Oh well we weren't looking for a red carpet just a nice pastry and coffee since we had been in mountains camping for four days. I doubt we will return to Baked, we can get a couple pastries at the local grocery store which has good doughnuts and pastries and grab a coffee from the gas station should we be in the market for such treats again. read more
