The burgers were delicious, and they had a good selection of options, We ordered the Cowboy and the Rodeo, and loved them both so much that we actually had to go back for seconds and grab a couple burgers for the road! (We stopped in Durango for a short period of time on a roadtrip) This was also the first time I've ever seen "frings" on a menu, it's just a mix of fries and onion rings and it was perfect because I wanted both and couldn't decide. The onion rings in particular were phenomenal. I also loved the little street-side dining area. It was a great spot to enjoy the meal outside and get some fresh air. The service was friendly and helpful, and they answered all of our questions with honest recommendations. I also like that you can order from an iPad if there's a line and you already know what you want. Definitely a place I'd recommend and happily come back to! read more

This looked like a great local spot so we had to try it out. Really good smash burgers and their onion rings were crispy and oh so good. We got the box-o-burgers. I had 2 and my husband ate the other 4. Not too greasy but just enough to give it flavor! It is outdoor seating and it was a bit warm but it wasn't unbearable. I would def come back! read more

During my 7 day stay I literally had FamBurger at least 5 times, I didn't have the honor trying the whole menu as I was stuck on 2 main burgers The LTP The Bacon Burger I attempted trying the chili fry's and hot dog one day not my favorite.. curiosity killed the cat on this one but that's okay they're a burger spot. Went here on 6/7/26. First time here. You walk up And order at the window and then they call your number. Decent amount of tables. Most of the tables are covered and then some on the sidewalk. They do smash burgers. And they are delicious. Tried the single cheeseburger, the double green chili burger and some fries and onion rings. Everything was delicious. Staff was friendly. There is street parking. Didn't try them but heard their shakes are great. Cheers! read more

It's not too tough to decipher the meaning of Famburger who is serving up a full line up of the classics including smash burgers, hot dogs, and ice cream treats. They've also leveled up with a selection of boozy drinks and beer which was appreciated. We all went with single burgers ranging from the green chile to the bacon cheeseburger and after we finished, all commented how we should have gone with either double or triples since the burgers were so good. Although my bacon cheeseburger didn't look like much when unwrapped, had a healthy topping of chopped bacon and American cheese. The winner of the day was the green chile burger as the fresh green chiles had a nice contrast to the beef and really made the burger shine. Food is outstanding, reasonably priced, and service is quick. We eat here when we want the relaxed outdoorsey ambiance, and don't want to spend an arm and a leg. The onion rings are crunchy and superb. Fries are crispy and not greasy. Milk shakes are thick and rich. Burgers are sooo tasty. It's a local hangout, so often we see friends. Our out of town guests love it. Seating outside is plentiful. The entire area is clean and well shaded. Bathroom, tho tiny, is always clean. This place was a life saver. My wife and I were a few too many miles into a bike ride and had worked our way into dangerously hungry territory. I had just picked up my husband after completing the Colorado Trail and what's the first thing hikers want when they're done? Good food! Famburger delivered! They have this great side of the road but still in town vibe, like an old timey burger place. Parking was a little wonky but you can always street park and walk over, which is what we did. The people working were nice. The burgers are smash burger style and they were cooked and seasoned so well. I can attest to how good the food was, and not just because I was desperate for regular food again. The onion rings? Oh my goodness. I feel like I could've eaten my weight in them. Perfectly hand battered. Crispy outside and nice soft inside. They also do what they call "Frings" which is a side of fires and onion rings, so you get both! The fries were good too. We also had two teenagers with us who did a big section of the trail too and they agreed, based on the veracity of which they demolished their food, that it was delicious. They each got a shake and they were a nice consistency and flavorful. If we end up going through Durango again we will be stopping by. I see more Frings in our future. read more

I love going to non traditional places to eat especially places that are different. This burger stand was on the corner in what seemed to us as a residential area. But the burgers were phenomenal. They were smash burgers and made to order. Fries were super crispy and oh so tasty. The service was speedy. The way they have it set up from when you order to pick is totally on point. The vibe of the place was a mix of business folk to metal heads and guys on bicycles. Super pleasant and fun. They offered an array of games to play even. It's outside eating only. This place was so cute and cozy. Indoor seating was limited and kind of tight, but there was an electric fireplace, Christmas tree, and tons of board games for people to play. We got two burgers (double bacon, double cheese, double meat, and one regular double cheese burger with lettuce and tomato), one side of fries, one side of cheesy bacon fries (SO good), one chocolate shake, and one small fountain drink. They had the BEST ice. The food was reasonably priced, didn't take long, and so tasty. They had highchairs, which is always a plus with a super young one. We will definitely be back! Yummy! So we are driving through Durango on the way to Ouray and we stopped off at Famburger. We got two pumpkin shakes and two rodeo burgers! Yummy shakes and really tasty burgers. The burgers has cheese, green chili, onion rings, bacon, bbq sauce. Nice spicy flavor and super crunchy onion rings. Sitting out in the sunshine at a picnic bench.
