The bread is perfectly soaked, the spices/flavors are balanced just right, and the sauces (seriously, don't skip those, the whiskey vanilla sauce they make is out of this world) take everything to another level. It feels homemade in the best possible way--like something passed down through generations. Which it has been! This is a black-owned, family-run business that truly cares about what they're putting out there and it shows. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do, which makes supporting them feel even better. We live in Arizona but they come to FoodieLand everytime it's here and we now always go straight to their booth everytime we go to foodieland. I absolutely hate sweet potatoes/yams and yet the first thing I tried was a sample of their sweet potato bread pudding and I fell in love. Now we always buy three different flavors everytime we see them at the festival. Always at least one of the bananas foster. The Oreo Ube one was delicious this year. All in all they are our FAVORITE booth at FoodieLand and have the best customer service, the best smiles, and the most delicious bread pudding we've ever eaten! Not only that but they recognize us everytime we see them! They know me as the guy that hates sweet potatoes yet always asks for their sweet potato bread pudding!! I cannot say enough nice things about Elaine's. Their story is beautiful, they're beautiful people, with kind hearts and delicious food! I sent her inspo photos of our pastel Disney theme... and she did not disappoint! The cake was absolutely beautiful, almost identical to the inspo photo, and "not too sweet" [which in Asian culture, is high praise]. My eyes immediately went straight to the butter mochi! I ordered the ube, lilikoi bars, and regular butter mochi. They were all so good! They had the perfect butter mochi texture! The Lilikoi was outstanding! That was the best lilikoi I've had in a long time! I find most places don't have the real passion fruit taste. Theirs were absolutely delicious! The service was great! She gave out samples for us to try as we narrowed down what we wanted. She was super helpful and so patient. The ambiance was casual. They had a variety of treat options at their booth other than butter mochi such as ube brownies, a variety of flavored chexmix, and a variety of rice krispies such as ube or pandan, and cookies. Each box came with six bars. I recommend eating these within a few days because they are the best fresh! I highly recommend their treats!

Add the infamous Gen-Z stare (ironically from someone who definitely looks millennial), plus wearing AirPods while working, and the whole interaction felt like I was interrupting her social hour.
