Delicious fresh Poke with a variety of toppings to choose from. Good customer service is consistent and I appreciate that. I've been meaning to do a review for a while and forget. Parking is generally not too bad they do have quick 15 minute parking off to the side meant for pick ups. The staff is always working hard even when they have a long line, they are always hustling. They do sell boba drinks as well. There is plenty of indoor seats and AC is nice on a hot day. Ambiance is chill and relaxing. Shout out to Johan and Ariadna who always provide good service to our weekly visits sometimes.

Their poke bowls are huge! I like the different options for bases and toppings, especially when other places would charge extra for certain ones like crabmeat and avocado. It hit the spot with how hot it's been lately. Parking was also really easy to find. I did also get a taro milk tea, and it was alright though I wouldn't order it again. Overall, I do think it's worth trying and I'd go back.

Fast, convenient, and tasty poke spot! Uroko Poke offers customizable poke bowls. I like that they offer a variety of bases (white rice, brown rice, salad, broccoli, tortilla chips), and you can get up to 3 different bases. You can also choose up to 5 sides. The best part is, avocado can be one of them! I always go with the basics, salmon and tuna, but I appreciate that they have 11 different protein options to choose from! My go-to sauce is their Uroko Original which includes ponzu and sesame oil. They have a good amount of different toppings as well! Fish is always pretty good quality, and I like the variety of ingredients they offer. Everything is premade, so you can go through the line pretty quickly! They have both indoor and outdoor patio seating.

Uroko is the best poke bowl around the cypress area. I love stopping here to get my fill of high protein deliciousness. They definitely hook it up!

Stopped in on a random Wednesday for lunch with a coworker and it ended up being a great choice. There was a small line when we walked in, but it moved really fast so we were ordering within a few minutes. That's usually a good sign at a poke spot. I like their build-your-own poke bowl option because you can customize everything. My bowl was around $16. I went with salmon and shrimp over brown rice with broccoli on the bottom, then added a few toppings, spicy mayo, and the Uroko sauce. The fish tastes really fresh and the sauces pull everything together. We ate outside under the umbrella covered tables. I do wish it had been a warmer day, but that's no fault of Uroko. It's located in a plaza, so parking is easy and you don't have to circle around looking for a spot. Overall just a super easy lunch choice when you want something quick, fresh, and filling.

Placed the order ahead of time for pickup. Parking was difficult as the strip was jam packed full of diners trying to get dinner from Juicy Dumpling Factory. I appreciated the freshness of the bowl and the vibrant flavors it offered. But the 2 scoop protein bowl hardly had any eel or the spicy salmon I chose. The salad also had very disproportionate amounts of dressing. So one side had no seasoning and the other spots were drowning with dressings. My biggest gripe was the chewy and slimy texture of the eel. I was not a fan. It had a similar texture to animal cartilage or gummy bear gone stale. I will definitely skip getting eel as my protein choice for the next visit. Would I be open to returning again? Absolutely! I would probably get my dressings / sauces on side and skip the eel for a better bowl experience. I think it's still a good spot to get poke in the vicinity.

Pretty standard poke, there was a limit of toppings though. I got salmon for my bowl and it did taste pretty fresh. Would've ranked higher if they had unlimited toppings :(

Yum, I love Uroko Poke! I prefer this location over the Costa Mesa shop. The parking lot is big, so it's easy to find a space. Workers immediately greeted me when I entered the shop. At Uroko Poke, you can order sushi, handrolls, or their poke bowls. I always opt for the poke bowl, and customize it to my liking. I prefer to get my sauce on the side. The workers will answer your questions if you have any or need help ordering. I enjoyed going to this location because the worker hooked it up! She gave me big portions that I had to save my bowl for the next day. Also, Uroko Poke always has fresh ingredients. When I'm taking a bite of the food, it's flavorful and delicious. There's inside and out door seating. The service is friendly and fast. The food is delicious and fresh! I definitely recommend this Uroko Poke location. Whenever I'm craving poke, I'll make a stop here.

I was craving poke and was glad that I stopped by Uroko Cafe. I had the Costa Mesa location bookmarked but didn't realize that there were other locations! I ordered two scoops of spicy tuna and tofu, the Uroko original sauce and 6 toppings. The ingredients were fresh and well-balanced; and I really enjoyed how my bowl came out! I also appreciated how the avocado was not an up-charge as a topping. The server was friendly and we received our bowls promptly. There is also plenty of seating inside to enjoy your customized creation. Will definitely be coming back for another poke bowl!

Ordered some sushi rolls to go for kids. They said is delicious. The package was good too.

Located near my hotel which was very convenient. Ordered a sushi platter. You can customize what sushi rolls you want. I ordered it online and glad they had the order ready. A family member stated this was his favorite place for poke. Hopefully I can try it the next time I'm in town. Workers were very friendly and the place had many seats inside and outside the restaurant. Quick service too!

Food: Good quality at a fair price. A good level of ingredient options as well. Service: Quick and friendly. Ambiance: The place is clean and welcoming with plenty of seating.

been to the Costa Mesa location and now this one, always fresh poke and amazing customer service. I did notice this location has eel/unagi, I didn't notice that at Costa Mesa $17 for 3 scoops. avocado and crab meat are free. they asked if I wanted more sauce with my bowl, next time I'll put more outdoor seating and lots of parking

The Hiyashi Chuka had a great balance of flavors with fresh toppings, and the soba was light, chewy, and paired really well with the crispy tempura. The hot tea was a nice touch, and everyone working there was friendly and welcoming. We also loved how extensive the menu is. The staff often seems stressed or unhappy, and the service has not been what we remember from years ago. The restaurant used to be extremely busy with long waits, and we've noticed a significant change over the years. In my opinion, the restaurant would benefit from taking another look at the customer service, and overall dining experience for customers.

At first I thought it was a fast food style, order at the counter and wait for your order to be ready, but it was actually a casual sit down restaurant. When I arrived around 12:30 p.m. on a Saturday, the restaurant was relatively clean and completely empty. The tables looked fairly new and had a simple, utilitarian style. I walked up to the counter and asked how the promotion worked. The owner pointed out the rolls on the menu and asked whether I was dining in or ordering to go. After telling her I was dining in, I looked over the menu. Since I don't eat much rice, I was immediately drawn to the three no-rice rolls, which were $16 each. The specialty rolls also looked good and were priced between $16 and $19. I asked to order three of the no-rice rolls using the promotion. That's when the owner told me those rolls were not included. The sign outside says "any two rolls," yet apparently there are exclusions that aren't disclosed. Since the no-rice rolls are in the same price range as the specialty rolls, I asked why they were excluded. The owner didn't offer any explanation--she simply said no, then walked away from the register and back into the kitchen. I found that interaction disrespectful and a clear indication that they weren't interested in earning my business. Customer service matters, and this experience left a very negative impression. I recommend choosing one of the many other restaurants in the area that value friendly, transparent service. Advertising a promotion as applying to "any" rolls while excluding certain items without clearly stating that feels misleading.

Service: As I arrived there was only one girl at the counter. She was very nice and told us if we had any questions or help to let her know. Self Serve at the counter and there are two large tablets where you input your orders! NOTE: NO CASH ONLY CARD. We came on a Friday, July 3rd around 1pm. It wasn't too busy at the time for me. Good service. Food: BEST onigiri iv had! Iv tried the kbbq, mentaiko, honey walnut, and spicy salmon onigiri. My two favorite were the mentaiko and spicy salmon onigiri. The mentaiko (fish eggs) was delicious, it was salty but like the good saltiness (not overly salty if that makes sense haha) and keep in mind that it is a tad spicy but for me I can handle it because I love anything spicy! Now the spicy salmon onigiri was PERFECT. Not too spicy (perfect for those who likes a mild spice) and creamy. My bf ordered spicy salmon as well and honey walnut shrimp. Both he said were delicious and his favorite was the honey walnut shrimp! For the kbbq, it was delicious too! Reminded me of Kbbq! All onigiris came with seasoned furikake and seaweed (there's an option if u want it on the side or remove it). There is also ahi tube poke and 3 sauces to choose from. I chose 1 spicy mayo on the side and it tasted really good with the onigiri. Each onigiri is labeled on the wrapper so it's easy to know which is which. I personally think think this onigiri store has a good amount of filling which I love! Drinks we ordered strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade. 5/5 great drinks and refreshing on a hot day. Overall everything was a 10/10 for me. If you really want to be full full, eat 4 onigiris, if u want to be full but not TOO full, 3 is good enough! Definitely will come back and will recommend this place to friends and family!

There are barely any aisles for any sort of groceries and the prices are high. Even the sale items I feel are higher than I can get at other Japanese markets. This should have been at least double the size or they should have just made it all a food court or simple grocery store. I will still try to support it but it's tough to get groceries as their prices are much higher. As the newness has worn down, it's much easier to get in and out to pick up some things. Unfortunately for the business that there's a lot less foot traffic.

But the fried oyster itself was good. ---------------------------------- (Total= $10.67 after tax) Wait time for our items was pretty much non existent, since the girl helping us boxed up our items before I even had the chance to finish paying (I always struggle to pay via tap on the first try... I always seem to have the credit card somewhere else, instead of wherever the sensor is to pay for it...D'oh). This was a great snack for us since we had lunch 3 hours before (I had a light lunch of a tofu salad so the 1.5 onigiri that I had was perfect for me). I like that the onigiri was fresh and the filling. But there is a significant amount of rice and very little of the filling. But I still liked it regardless and would definitely come back to try the other flavors in the future.

Not too mad at the food, but the rice balls were nothing too special or superior…read more Service was very fast and friendly. In the grocery store food court, the rice balls make for a quick and easy meal. I got the shrimp tempura and eel. Lots of rice to protein ratio.

Greeted and seated immediately when we arrived. Our booth was cozy and loved the murals on the 3 walls. When in doubt, or you're confused in what to pick, go for the sashimi sampler - tuna, Yellowtail, salmon, snapper, maguro lay a top grated daikon and carrots and shiso leaves. Also garnished with seaweed, yamagobo, sunomono, lemon slice...you can tell a lot of work went into this plate. It was incredible, fresh, and super tasty on this hot summer day. The house sake, served cold was a perfect pairing. We didn't stop there! We also ordered: Jalapeno Yellowtail - love the sprouts garnish with the jalapeño oil and ponzu to finish off. Three amigos roll - spicy scallops roll, cucumber, avocado, tuna, albacore. Perfect to share. Yummy scallops! Got our veggies in with sunomono cucumber salad and veggie tempura. Really enjoyed and definitely will add this sushi bar into our rotation! Service was friendly and polite. And we're ready for more! Kampai!

That male waiter/manager or whatever he wants to call himself, he better be lucky he caught me on one of my good days. His attitude and service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to walk about before he met his maker. It truly amazes me how people can be so rude when you're spending your money! I met up with some friends, and first of all, they waited over a hour to receive their food. They cancelled the other part of their order due to the wait. I pray that man receives the same energy he's putting out in the universe because he truly deserves a dose of his own medicine and NOT in a good way.

I was craving some cold soba and saw that Echizen offered Zaru Soba! We waited about 15 minutes or…read moreso for a table for 2. Under their Light Dinner section, they offer a Zarusoba for $12.00 and a Tempura Udon/Soba with Shrimp Tempura for $13.00. However, if you want Zarusoba with Tempura, they charge an extra dollar. The Zarusoba was good, but it would be nice if they gave a bit more sauce for dipping. I also got a Sashimi Salad, which had a lot of sashimi! It had salmon, tuna, and a white fish. Pretty good, but it could have used a little more dressing as well. The Combination Plate with Salmon and Tempura was enjoyable. It comes with a piece of salmon, a variety of tempura (shrimp, broccoli, sweet potato, onion), side salad, miso soup, rice, tempura sauce, and teriyaki sauce. Salmon was cooked well, and I liked all of the tempura! Their Lunch Specials are originally what caught my eye, but it seems like they don't have anything similar for dinner. Instead, everything is a la carte with the exception of a few combination plates. I wish they would do dinner specials similar to their lunch specials! Parking here is pretty difficult. The lot gets packed with several cars circling around hunting for a spot. They're also going some construction right now which doesn't help. There is a large parking lot where the Home Depot is next door, but they specifically have signs posted to say you can't park there.

Authentic Japanese-owned, mostly Japanese staff, with a couple of long-timers who have clearly found their forever workplace - over a decade and counting. New owner took over when the original retired, a few small changes here and there, but the food and service? Barely touched. That is the highest compliment a ownership transition can get.
