The gentleman and woman were friendly and attentive. She was very helpful with recommendations as well since their menu is very extensive. My friend and I ordered the Afternoon Tea Service. It was great valued and there was plenty to eat. Everything was yummy and made to order even the desserts. My Chicken Salad Croissant was fresh and crispy. Whimsical and delightful afternoon tea spot (or just regular tea spot!) in Cypress I can't believe this was my first time here after it being around for so many years. We came for afternoon tea on a Sunday and it was about $34 per person, which included a half sandwich with salad or fresh fruit, a drink, a scone, and dessert. The whole space is whimsical, quirky, and full of personality. It does take a little while for the food to come out, but the quality and attention to detail are there when it arrives. The syrups and fruit purées are made in house, and my mom said the hot matcha latte was the best she's ever had. One of the most incredible small businesses in OC! The owners are the sweetest most welcoming people. Their shop operates as a bakery, flower shop, gift shop and cafe so they can assist with all of your needs! Their honey bread was seriously one of the most delicious breakfast/dessert items I've ever tried, and their matcha has improved significantly since the last time I visited a few months ago. It was ALL hard crust and powdered sugar and a HINT of lemon. 100% disappointed, especially considering I paid over $12 for two items. I've been a long-time customer of this place since I'm very local to it. I came again after a long time to but a bouquet (and to support a small business) and found out they have new owners since the beginning of this year. The place still has the same charm it's always had. They still offer handmade bouquets upon ordering and they are beautiful as ever. I would like to come back to try more of their menu items. Service was friendly, and the lady who helped me make my bouquet was very cooperative. I gave her my budget and color preferences, and we chose flowers that fit my requirements. The only issue I have is that their chunky chocolate chip cookies are not the same. They used to be my favorite cookie ever-- large, chunky, soft inside, crunchy outside. After we ordered the drinks took much longer than they should have to arrive. The food took one hour to be served. We weren't in a rush, but that was an awfully long time to wait. The new owners have changed the menu. There isn't much variety. I was hoping for some breakfast items but there was only one. I had the mango butterfly iced tea, a chicken pot pie, and a took a cookie to go. The drink and pie were good. The cookie wasn't good as it used to be. I don't live nearby so I won't be returning. It's very nice and chill and place to come eat or snack on some tasty things. Great place for breakfast and lunch. Its seems that Classics has changed owners. It has kept its whimsical decor and table set up. Today's server was not very attentive when it comes to the tea service--sugar and cream were not given/offered with tea. They did offer extra fruit as a compensation. The scones were a bit off from traditional texture. Sandwiches (chicken pesto & Ultimate BBT) were great. House Salad was great. My first time coming over here. I came across this coffee shop by chance while I was doing errands at Stater Brothers. This place gives you a very comfortable and relaxing vibe. This cafe is collaborated within a flower shop so you get to view all these beautiful flowers and succulents. The appa owner was very nice. He showed me the different teas at the tea section so I can make my choices. I ordered the passion fruit jasmine hot tea and some americano. I also ordered some freshly made croissant and their classic scone. The appa told me that this establishment has been in the industry since 1989 and they recently took over the business about a year ago. The scone was super delish.
