We visited on a beautiful Thursday afternoon & we were seated promptly. The server was kind and took our order in a timely manner. I got the breakfast sandwich and my SO got the blueberry pancakes. I liked my breakfast sandwich very much. It included some delicious home style potatoes, and the egg and veggie sausage (there are other meat options) was excellent on their home made rolls. My sister and I stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The sign said "wait to be seated" so we waited a good 6 min and no one said anything to us, so we asked at the counter. The girl said food would be about a 30 min wait (even though there were plenty of open tables.) So we decided to try a different spot and come back for dessert. Their bakery case was full of lots of choices of cookies and some cupcakes. My 3 year old niece wanted a Black Forest Cupcake. I thought it looked a little old because the cherry on top had bled red all over the whipped cream. My sister ordered a Maple Coconut cookie and a chocolate chip cookie. I got a "My Brother Heath" cookie. They looked good, but the positive stopped there. My cookie was flavorless and hard. It had to have been sitting in that case for a week. Judging by how the only thing I could taste was granulated sugar, I would bet that even if it were fresh it would've been mediocre. My sister tried her Maple Coconut cookie and it too was dry, lacking flavor and stale. Not even my 3 year old niece would eat it. The chocolate chip cookie was also bland and lackluster. If this place wants to sell yummy baked goods they need to update their recipes, rotate in fresher items and look into storing them more air tightly. Very very disappointing. read more

We have eaten here twice in the past week. Similar experience with both. We really love the food but the service is lacking. They seem to go in whatever order they chose and don't pay attention to who came first. . We waited almost 15 min for drinks and when it was time for the bill about 15 min or more to even be noticed we had finished. If you have no time restraints than you will be fine but I think I'll be giving this place a break for awhile until they hire more staff or address how they run their show. We stumbled upon this place while on the way home from a little weekend getaway in North Adams. Shelburne Falls is especially lovely in the Spring, Summer and Fall when one can visit the Bridge of Flowers (look it up, it's worth the drive from Providence). We happened upon Baked in the morning just in time for a late breakfast. They had all kinds of lovely looking scones, pastries, muffins and breads in their display case but we ended up with omlettes with their wonderful store made multigrain breads, which were scrumptious. My partner had one with a tapenade filling while I had a Farmer's scramble. This place is really cute, looks like it would be a great place for lunch and for us, even on a dank, rainy, dreary Monday morning it was just the place. Leaves much to be desired, asked to be seated inside, instead got to be seated next to the trash dumpsters. Tried to open umbrella my aunt got knocked out they said sorry they don't work, mmm if they don't work take them down!!! Grabbed some quick bakery items and beverages on a Saturday afternoon (2:30ish). We had to ask for the bagel to be toasted, when we got it, it didn't have any color to it and was barely warm. I asked for a chai latte, wasn't told that it was going to be iced. I don't do iced drinks, so would have appreciated the heads up. This place has the cutest location: middle of Shelburne Falls, but conveniently next to one of the main attractions at the Glacial Potholes. What we thought was going to be a quaint local diner brunch turned into an hour long wait for 2 very simple dishes. One of our orders was the French toast, which was about $5 for the size of a store-bought slice of bread. It tasted good, but but was hardly of any substance to be enjoyed for very long. Not only that, their $4 Choice of Meat side was sausage that hardly reached the size of your palm that tasted as if it had never touched seasoning at all. Each time I've waited over 45 minutes for simple food, and the place wasn't even busy. Today, I figured I'd try again. I walked in, I was one of three parties in there. Not busy at all. The storefront is a coffeehouse/bakery but I was glad I stopped and found out they started serving dinner Thus, Fri and Sat. We decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised!! The table was clean and the service reasonably timed. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and well balanced with savory and cinnamon sweetness from the apples and the confit yams were great. The salmon was moist and the potato hash was made more unique with the addition of pistachios. The penne was also excellent with a nice melding of flavors. The portions were generous and everything was cooked and finished expertly. This is probably one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant in many years. Saw the great reviews on Yelp and decided to go for breakfast on my birthday. I was not disappointed! Loved the atmosphere and decor! My family and I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, Eggs Benedict, and biscuits and gravy....all beautiful and delicious! Afterwards we got a couple of cookies to go from the bakery section-also delicious! Located in a converted garage, this place is both a delightful bakery as well as a surprisingly tasty restaurant! Our party had a chicken salad sandwich special on homemade bread with cashews, avocado, and all kinds of delicious ingredients. The garden salad was epic, with a wide selection of tasty veggies. The fries were also fantastic, which was a nice touch. The huevos rancheros were delicious, on top of a cheesy, homemade cornbread base. The margherita sandwich was also excellent, with really tasty pesto. A small but great beer selection, and helpful service rounded the whole experience out. The iced coffee was also really amazing on a hot day, and was just the right amount of creamy. Best of all? The servings are generous AND cheap. Four people with four entrees, sides, and a mixture of coffee/beers came to only $60.00. This looks like a newer place, and it definitely needs more love. Food was good, service friendly, from old reviews looks like wait time used to be an issue but was manageable. Granted there are less tables to serve in the time of Covid. Speaking of which- This review is for health practices; masking is very inconsistent: staff intermittently without their masks, even when in customer-trafficked areas or while interacting with customers. What made us particularly uncomfortable - one staff member leaving the restaurant through the dining floor, returning to pace around the back area where the kitchen is (don't know his role but he wasn't interacting with customers) and *not once* did we see him put on a mask (!) I understand this is a whole new set of practices to tend to. There are ways to make it easier (use a cloth mask instead of an N-95, much more comfortable; use a QR code or ask customers to take a photo of the menu instead of spending $$ on separate paper printouts; get hand sanitizer dispensers with pump handles instead of in squeeze-bottles) and in the meanwhile if staff are spotty with infection prevention - or downright dismissive, in the case of the gentleman mentioned above - it comes across and inconsiderate and haphazard. read more

She kept saying your going to have to fold that up and we don't have room in here for that. Her attitude was poor, like she was irritated and not friendly.
