Great people, good prices. Had to wait for my vehicle during a brake job, and it was as enjoyable an experience as possible.

Great service! I brought my own oil and filter and they just charged me $20 for labor. Honest, hard working folks here.

I took my vehicle to replace my tires on March 1st.  My vehicle rode super smooth, tires were just…read moreready to replace. James sold me on the Bridgestone tires. All done, nothing said. Ad soon as I left I noticed they were a little loud felt unbalanced. I called and made an appointment to get them rebalanced. One of the techs went with me on a test drive, agreed there was a little shaking in the tires and would rebalance them. Corey called and told me two of the wheels were bent, without getting a chance to respond, he said that they didn't bend the wheels. Said it would have to be a very hard hit to bend those wheels....I told him I never had an issue with my wheels, nor was anything mentioned to me before leaving from having tires installed and balanced. He sent me a video of another persons wheels. I picked up my vehicle, still noticed they were off so I made another appointment and comes to find out. They were unbalanced by .75. While they were being rebalanced, I got to see the wheels off with my own eyes, and I took photos, and video. There were two flat spots, one on each rim.   It was very odd that the flat spot had no marks from hitting anything, but only a distinctive matching flat spot with grooves both matching on each wheel.   I called a few places that fix rims, sent them photos and each one of them told me it was guaranteed done by the tire machine, "TECH ERROR" without doubt, 100%. Wheel was clamped incorrectly, from the inside, casting the damage. Not machine fault, but technician. They all said it was very obvious by looking at the grooves and the size of the flat spot.   It was so obvious they said anyone that sees this that knows could tell you.   Their own words.   I called Tire Plus, spoke to Corey, he denied it could be the machine, I was going to put him on three-way with the owner of one company that fixes wheels.    I wanted to make sure I did all my due diligence and do the right thing before I accuse the shop, but it is 100%.   What's sad, is the wheel repair felt so bad and angry how they denied damages that the owner said he would fox for free.... It was unfortunate that comes to find out. They are out of state. They have the same name as another wheel repair place in town. When I called Tire Plus to see if they would just help and just remove the wheels from me so I can get them fixed, Cory said sure....30 minutes later Corey alls me, told me James said I am not welcome there lol. And that is that there was no words exchanged, no anger talk or anything whatsoever, just straight up bad customer service. I emailed Firestone but have not heard back. Bad service from Tires Plus.

I'm glad I was smart enough to get a second opinion and went to Tires Plus. I can't believe how the other chain brake store was going to over charge me and sell me parts I didn't even need. (Two calipers.) I'll never go anywhere else again! Thank you for your honest, affordable service! New brake pads and rotors and I was back on the road in less than an hour without an appointment.

I filled…read moreout the work requested sheet when I made the appointment asking them to replace the rotors front and rear, ceramic brake pads and flush the brake fluid system and it must be completed on the same day and they said no problem. When I dropped the truck off at 8 AM and reiterated that I wanted rotors replaced, new ceramic pads, flush the brake system and if they had time to change the shocks as well. At 11:30 Pep Boys calls and tells me that the repairs my truck needed were the same things I asked for in the first place plus wipers, air filter needed replacement and differential serviced. I told them the air filter was replaced last December and not to do it. I called them at 4:10 PM and asked if my truck was ready for pick up and lady said not yet, I asked her how much longer and she said she would ask the service technician. She told me about 45 minutes so I uber down to Pep Boys and my truck wasn't ready. I asked how much longer she said they would be done by closing. About 5:45 the desk lady tells me she has some not so good news. Turns out they were nowhere close to done and that one caliper was seized and had to be replaced and they couldn't get the caliper until the morning, but they wouldn't have a service technician to install it until Monday. By now it's a little after 6 PM and I have to call uber for a ride home. Meanwhile in the shop they start working on the differential. That made me see red. Not only didn't they do what I asked for first before they wasted hours which on top of a $3100.00 bill, I will also lose a day pay on Monday, but it also hurts my employer's faith in my dependability. I can honestly say that I would not recommend this Pep Boys for anything other than oil, wiper, tire and air filter changes. 6-21-26 I thought that I would be posting a give credit where credit is due write up but that's just not the reality of the situation. I will give them credit that they brought someone in to replace the seized caliper today so that I wouldn't miss a day of work and I will give them credit for that. Pep Boys called today when they had my truck finished and said it was ready for pick up. Upon arrival at Pep boys I gave my truck a quick look to check the work out. There was oil spilled all over the cowl in front of the radiator, the brake fluid reservoir was overfilled and obvious that the brake system wasn't flushed as requested. I went into the office and asked to see the itemized bill and I found I was billed for an oil change that I did not authorize because I had just had one 339 miles ago and wasn't due for another 2661 miles. The charge for the oil change was $290.84 plus tax. The brake fluid flush that wasn't done, I was charged 123.20 plus tax. $414.14 plus tax for work I did not authorize or that wasn't done. I requested ceramic brake pads front and rear, they installed ceramic on the front and semi-metallic on the rear. I told the day manager that I wouldn't pay for the oil change that I didn't authorize or the brake fluid flush which wasn't done. Ellis the day manager would not hear of it. So, I asked if I could talk to his supervisor, he calls his supervisor when he left the office and told me that it's all recorded, I explained to him that I had asked to talk to his supervisor and he told me to come back tomorrow if I wanted to talk to the supervisor. I said ok, let me hear the recording and he said I'll have to call the Sherrif and I said fine by me. The Sherrif's showed up in mass, three of them including the shift supervisor. Sherrif said pay the bill and leave so I did, I had to ask the Sherrif to get my key from the office, and he hands me a key bent enough that I couldn't insert it into the ignition. I had to straighten it out with the butt of a screwdriver on the asphalt. Yesterday, the lady managing the office did her best to placate me and she did manage to get someone to come in today to install the last caliper and put the tires on so I wouldn't miss a day of work. The mechanic working today was kind enough to clean up the spilled oil. Odd as it is, my bill went from $3100.00 yesterday to $2448.33 and today's final invoice was for 2149.98 and that's with the oil change I didn't ask for. Unfortunately, the office manager could not produce the work authorization form that I had signed last Thursday for the work that I was requesting. Odds are I'm going to have to take my truck to another shop to get my brake fluid system flushed and have them check to make sure new caliper slide pins were installed as I requested. Bottom line I would not recommend this Pep Boys to anyone for anything.

When they first arrived at PT the tech there was telling them that until they get some juice in the battery they cannot test it definitively. So the crew left the van there, signed an estimate statement that no more than $550 worth of work could take place without getting prior authorization. They never called anyone, and wound up charging my company $720 to install a battery that I can get at Auto Zone for $200 or less. The battery alone was $553! Well what happened to the phone call to get authorization? Now they won't return anyone's phone call from our office. I agree the battery they put in the van is probably the best in that class, but I would have been fine with a $200 battery, had I had the opportunity to express that! But no phone call makes that part of the process a mute point. Just an FYI: 2 weeks ago we had another battery replaced in the same model van for $279 in Daphne Alabama at Tameron Hyundai. These guys are crooks I guess, and will never change their color. Stay away from this location at all cost, or take your chances and probably get burned.
