First, I did NOT have my car serviced here, so i am not rating the actual work done. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday night to get an estimate for work done to have it pass inspection. I left a list of the three things I wanted an estimate on, a new oil pan, new rear control arms, and evaporator lines for the fuel tank. By the next week, I'd called three times, received two return calls telling me they were going to get to it. My neighbor took his dump truck in, with no list or set things to be done to it, and received a same day estimate for over 14 items. I called later the same day, and my estimate had not been done. Around 4 in the afternoon the following Monday I got a call and was told about things that needed to be fixed, transmission pan, oil pan, a broken rear control arm (its not broken, but it should be replaced), rusty rotors (the cars been sitting, yes rust happens but goes away when you drive it and use the brakes...) And then was told it was REALLY REALLY RUSTY and thats where the mechanic stopped. Never mentioned the evap lines, and didnt give me an estimate. When I called them again after I'd calmed down and wouldn't be an asshole, I talked to a different person and said I wanted to just pick my car up and take it somewhere else. The bill was 43 dollars, which is fair for a mechanic to take thr time to put a car on the lift and write up an estimate. Shop hours being what they are, I get it. I paid over the phone after telling the worker that I havent received an estimate, and will be taking my car elsewhere, and to please leave the estimate in the car with my keys,I'll pick it up after my 1.15 hour commute home tonight. There was no estimate in the car, just a receipt with comments from the mechanic. They might do amazing work on cars they fix, but I've lost patience with their process. read more

We had the unfortunate experience of finding a flat tire on our car after returning from a hike. We put on the spare tire and drove to Baker Automotive with the flat tire in hand at 3:46 p.m.; hoping a mechanic could take a look at it. They did not disappoint! In fact, they exceeded our expectations, big time! The tire was examined and repaired within 15 minutes, all for the nominal charge of $15!!! We highly recommend Baker Automotive! read more

Brought my car here because they said they could look at it same day. Took them 4 days to look at it, then they told me some story and said I had to get a new ipdm. A week after my car came back the same exact issue happened. I told the mechanic that everyone online said it's probably a short with the reverse lights and the mechanic told me he didn't think so. I cut the rubber insulation away from the reverse lights to find 2 wires cut and after I repaired them my cars been fine. They replaced a whole fuse box when only one fuse needed to be replaced, and never tackled the underlying issue. And charged me $540 even though the problem wasn't fixed. Would not recommend!! read more
