Don't go back on your word! After purchasing over twenty- eight boxes of LVT flooring I asked our salesman (Mike) if we had extra would we be able to return them. He told us yes as long as the boxes were not opened. We ended up with one extra box and drove down to Baker Bros to return it. The associate said that they don't accept opened or unopened boxes of their flooring. I advised him that our salesman told us otherwise. He called me a liar and said that Mike would never say that. The next day Mike called me to confirm what his associate told me. Our mistake was that we didn't get what was said in writing. I do not recommend Baker Bros flooring simply for the unethical way that they treat their customers. Now I understand why Baker Bros parking lot is always empty! read more

Just moved into a new place with hardwood floors. Been looking online for an area rug for Living room. I wanted something nice and buying a carpet online, sight unseen, was difficult. I decided to stop into Baker Bros. on Bell in Surprise. I met Brett Mossey the Manager and he showed me a large selection of area rugs. They were hung so I could see the entire carpet. I found just what I was looking for. I bought it that day. Before I knew it, the carpet had arrived at their warehouse, and we set up a delivery time. They also delivered a carpet pad that is safe for hardwood floors for free. The delivery guy brought it into my house and put it just where I needed it. Today, I finally rolled it out! It is perfect! Brett at Baker brothers did a great job measuring all of the rooms that I needed originally to have carpeted. In addition he measured future rooms that would need carpeting for the second stage of my project. This saved a lot of time since he did not have to come back a second time to my house. In addition he found excellent 0% financing for me for this project. The installation went smoothly. The installers were polite. They carefully moved the furniture out of the rooms and carefully replaced it when the carpeting was done. read more

The finished product, 20x20 porcelain tile throughout house is beautiful, great installation, very pleased. The time frame, was 12 day's due to scheduling issues with staff and baseboards. They had to come back and reinstall the dishwasher. We would recommend and use again, but ensure that all materials and labor are better coordinated. read more

When we purchased our carpet the salesman said if we ever had any stains Stainmaster would cover it. And if they didn't Baker Brothers had their own warranty would cover it. Turns out Stainmaster will only cover animal or human wastes. Not food. Not wine. Not grease. We don't have a dog or throw up in our bedroom. So within 60 days some oil from hinges dripped on it. I was told warranty was void if I tried to clean it myself. So I would have to have a certified pro try. That mean I PAY. Even if I thought I could probably get it out. my other complaint is the sloppy installation. The guy knew it and said it would blend after vacuuming. It was a terrible seam! They did come out to fix it but it still looks bad and will most likely get worse. read more

We ordered carpet a couple of months ago and scheduled our install today to make sure we would be done with remodeling. This morning we got up early and moved all of our furniture outside. The installers were supposed to arrive between 8:00 and 10:00. About 9:30, we got a call that they would be here in about 40 minutes. Now, at 10:30, they called to tell us that their truck broke down. The company is unwilling to do anything about the problem, like renting or supplying another truck, and they tried to pass the buck by saying that the installers were not company employees...but they hired the installers. For the second time I couldn't be more pleased with Baker Bros and manager Brett Mossey. When I could not find runners that I liked in the size I needed I decided to have custom rugs made. Brett Mossey helped me through the selection, the different bindings and pattern. I was able to pick them up at the store which were delivered even ahead of the expected time. Based on the phone call I just had. I called to ask if they would come out and measure and install some vinyl I have but they also sell , so I would buy the extra I need from them. The guy on the phone said " They would not be interested in using the vinyl I already have" Keep in mind I would buy the additional from them. Based on first impressions , this place stinks. read more

I went to the store and ordered linoleum which was supposed to be within a weeks and I was supposed to pick it up at the store after two weeks plus a few days I called the store wondering where my linoleum was as it should have been in the gentleman informed me that he would call the warehouse that maybe it was in I waited two hours to hear back from him only to find out that indeed my linoleum was in at the warehouse( note once again it was SUPPOSED to be at the store not the warehouse), but there was a tear in it 3 foot in. I requested my money back which they gave me. I'm sorry but although the salesman were nice and courteous, I would not go to this company again, nor would I recommend it read more

Ordered a rug in August, it's November, still no rug! Very upset, we spent a lot of money and still we have no product.

What kind of carpet store does not allow you to check out samples? Brett told me the samples don't leave the store and when he comes out to measure he will bring them. How would I even know if I want the carpet if I can't view the sample in my home? Colors and textures look very different in different environments. Seems the store would lose a lot of money and time by bringing samples out and none of them work....in my case I left the store and you lost a customer who was looking to do an entire home. Many merchants charge a fee to your credit card, which they reimburse once you return the samples. This is totally acceptable... But this was not an option they would consider. I'm willing to bet you have lost many, many customers due to this policy. read more

Mike Gallozzi provided his professional assistance to us when we selected an eight-foot runner for which we chose the three colors and pattern that would blend with the room. This was a special order and Mike told us the promised date would be eight to ten weeks. At ten weeks, Mike phoned and told us the runner was ready for us. The rug is perfect and if it wasn't for Mike's professional direction, we wouldn't be as pleased as we are with our choice. read more
