We contacted Ed at the Scottsdale store who was extremely accommodating and allowed us to exchange the rug with absolutely no hassles. We visited both of their stores in the greater Scottsdale area looking for an authentic Native American area rug. The salespeople at both stores were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, without applying any pressure. It was a wonderful experience. We saw several rugs that we liked in both stores, but it is difficult to envision them in your home with your furniture and the interior colors of your room. No problem: they offered to bring all four rugs to our home the next day (Sunday) to see how they looked in our living room. The owner, Ed, and his two helpers, showed up on time and laid all four rugs out in the allotted space so that we could compare them, side by side. Who does that? They do! Needless to say, we loved one of the rugs and purchased it. They even took our old rug away. We would highly recommend their service which is based on knowledge and years of experience. He told us yes as long as the boxes were not opened. We ended up with one extra box and drove down to Baker Bros to return it. The associate said that they don't accept opened or unopened boxes of their flooring. I advised him that our salesman told us otherwise. He called me a liar and said that Mike would never say that. The next day Mike called me to confirm what his associate told me. Our mistake was that we didn't get what was said in writing. I do not recommend Baker Bros flooring simply for the unethical way that they treat their customers. Now I understand why Baker Bros parking lot is always empty!

After calling salesperson about having no idea large space was needed to cut carpet then finally connecting to GM Paula about inexplicable lack of communication on BB part (she agreed), Marcos assures me he can & will cut carpet at Bb warehouse then return within an hour or so & install master bedroom carpet. Installers leave & never return. I spent hours proactively following up on where Marcos was only to be told by Chris (Marcos supervisor) he allowed Marcos to go home b/c Marcos wasn't satisfied with designated parking spot! Said he felt it was "a hostile work environment." every vendor has parked there; no vendor ever complained nor refused to park there. Marcos lied to me about completing job, Chris complicit in this lie. I prepaid thousands of dollars to have a subcontractor take it upon himself to walk off the job b/c he 'didn't want to get another ticket from the police' (parking spot 100% legit/legal numerous people from management team trying to accommodate him). Paula & Chris then assure me that carpet CAN be pre cut at warehouse. After a very long & exhausting move, Paula at BB did a 180 by denying they ever told me this saying "no one at Baker Brothers from salesperson to scheduler to Paula to installer was aware nor educated on the type of carpeting I ordered...sorry." Paula repeatedly dismissed that Marcos lied to me/blew us off. Ended with passive aggressive 'we apologize that you're feeling frustrated.' No accountability on BB part. Refuse to reimburse me...keep saying I have to find a space on property for them to cut carpet!! Paula & Chris refuse to tour property themselves despite 2 invites to do so. Local media (ABC/FOX) doing investigative piece on Baker Brothers unethical behavior, poor customer service and questionable legal subcontract hiring practices.

The classrooms felt clean and homey, and my daughter made lots of friends there. It was also one of the most affordable preschool options we found, which was a huge plus. That said, there were some real concerns. Communication and organization were lacking. Dates on the calendar would change, but staff often didn't seem aware of the updates. The school's app was very basic and only tracked sign-ins and sign-outs, without sharing anything about classroom activities. The only emails we received from management were reminders about holidays. We also experienced a lack of communication when it came to incident reports. On multiple occasions, my daughter came home with bumps, scrapes, or bruises, but we were never notified during the school day or given a report about what happened. As a parent, that was concerning because I want to know if she's been hurt, even in small ways. Billing was another ongoing frustration. Invoices were frequently incorrect, and we had to constantly monitor the autopay system to make sure we weren't overcharged. This added unnecessary stress on top of everything else. There was also a lot of turnover in staff. While the core teachers were great, it felt like new faces were constantly cycling in and out, which made the environment feel less stable for the kids. Safety and security were additional concerns. There were no cameras on site that I could see, and we once received a notice hours later about an incident where someone entered the gated playground in the morning. There was no follow-up on what changes would be made afterward. The parking lot also felt unsafe at times, with cars speeding through, homeless individuals passing by, and even a stolen car abandoned one morning while police investigated. Lastly, be cautious when looking at reviews online. Many of the 5-star reviews were part of a raffle the school conducted, which makes the feedback seem less reliable. Overall, the teachers gave my daughter a strong start, and I'm grateful for their care. But the lack of communication, billing errors, staff turnover, and security issues made me uneasy as a parent. I hope the school invests in improving those areas because it truly has potential.

Several of my colleagues and fellow practitioners have their children enrolled at the other Little Scholars location and highly recommended it to me. I am not being paid or incentivized for this review (frankly, I wouldn't need it as previous review suggested)--this is simply my honest experience as a parent who values quality education and safety. I love this school, and the upward mobility it provides for our children within this community. Little Scholars has exceeded every expectation. The teachers are excellent and hold my baby like he is their own. The classrooms are spotless, and the play yard is beautiful and safe. Outside parameter is locked, secured and checked daily. My son is only three, and he's already learning letters, numbers, and beginning to read and write. His speech has advanced far beyond his age, and he's being taught valuable life skills that build confidence and independence. I appreciate the good manners they practice. They worked tirelessly on helping me potty train. They assisted me in the method I chose and were supportive from day one. Children get sick! It is what it is, but its not a reflection of "cleanliness of the place." Cold and flu season comes around and they are sanitizing like crazy. I'm personally thankful for this season as I know my son's immune system will be optimal come grade school. This is not just a daycare--it's a true preschool where children leave testing well above kindergarten level. My friend (another PA) noticed how advanced my child was for his age and opted to pull her two children out of a daycare and place them in a school atmosphere closer to her. She called me yesterday with an update (1st week in school ended) and she told me how impress she is with the change. As such, because it is a school the teachers are paid a salary and closures for holidays/breaks are not with reduced pay so that they continued to get paid. I don't mind this. I respect teachers and believe they deserve more especially when you have such excellent staff you'd do anything to keep them. I wish more schools followed this model. I also want to address a recent negative review, quite frankly the only lone star review (and her only review on yelp). It's clearly a revenge post for her personal vehicle being rummaged through because SHE left it unlocked. The claims about safety and homelessness in the area does not reflect the whole truth. Within the past year the homelessness has taken a significant shift. The neighborhood is rapidly changing. Bellair was bought out, new businesses are moving in building on empty lots (including the lot directly next to the school - adding additional lighting and security cameras to the area). Landscaping and hardscaping by the city has taken place up 43rd ave and the homelessness is starting to move on. I personally have never felt unsafe here even before these changes took place, but I'm happy to see the local improvements. Regardless, the incident mentioned in the other review was due to an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot not a reflection of the school itself. This could have equally happened a the local quick trip, sushi joint or grocery store. The original poster also cross posted this to the Neighborhood app (or FB (?)- this is where I saw the post initially) noting that the police were called but would be late to arrive so she left (they were late to arrive because they were looking for the gentleman that did it). She notes that nothing was stolen. Beyond this, the child was clearly in attendance for a couple of years (per her timeline). I would doubt that if she felt her child was unsafe for so many years she would have kept her child enrolled for that long. It also appears the child tested out end of summer and moved on (likely more advanced and above their peers) and she was refunded the month for her distress this caused her. Seemingly appropriately handled to me... Little Scholars goes above and beyond for children, families and community. We couldn't be happier with our choice, and I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a safe, nurturing, and academically advanced start for their child. I can't wait to enroll my second when she's of age. Take a tour and see for yourself!

I had a very unique and wonderful experience learning how to tuft as well as getting to explore my creative side a bit more than ever before. We had lots of laughs while learning about different techniques and fun facts about rug making. I also got great accommodation to a Spanish speaking student which I very much appreciate. We left the studio very pleased with the entire process from beginning to end. And let's not forget a cool piece of art with lots of meaning to it. Well, it is a treasure gem in a field of dirt. If you love this kind of decor, then you have to go and visit this place. It was easy to find, but don't let the route or surroundings ruine your perception of the interior of the shop. For me it was definitely a "Saved Location" on my GPS. The staff was very courteous. The art, household items, outdoor decor, etc. all in Mexican style was wonderful. There were moments of seeing items and thinking "My Grandma had one of those...". This is a must stop and visit!!!

This place is extraordinary not just in how full and packed it is, but also the variety, quality, craftmanship, uniqueness and exclusivity of many of the moderate, rustic and fine works available for both inside and outside the home or business! This store has been around for half a century, it seems like they have stuff dating back that far, but have an enormous amount of new and contemporary pieces, some I've never seen before! We've been visiting Mexican Arts Imports for products and ideas for well over a decade, and their products and customer service never ceases to amaze us. We just keep coming back!

From housewares, to gifts for yourself or friends, clothing, jewelry you will find the best variety of art type gifts from different vendors. You can browse here for at least an hour which is what we do. I can't wait to go again. Prices are decent and everything is new merchandise.

I have shopped Pure Patio many times and have always had a good experience. We had purchased a…read morepatio set set from them when we moved into our home. The set looked very nice, but didn't hold up well to the Arizona elements. It was powder coated aluminum. The furniture was exposed to the afternoon sun which Killed the paint and turned it white. The time around, we decided to give the polywood a go. We have had it before and it held up very well. It also doesn't scratch as easily as paint. The polywood is not quite as elegant as some other options, but it really did look nice on our patio. The Pure Patio staff were very helpful and patient with our indecisive nature. They also have many yard and patio figurines and art to spice up the yard. We are enjoying our new furniture very much!

I purchased furniture that is warranty for 20 years however now that I had to file a claim on the…read moreproduct which broke the product was shipped to me. I called the store and they say that we the customer is responsible if assembling the item or they could charge me a $140 service fee for response and $20 for assembly. I strongly don't recommend since we chose this furniture because of the warranty and trying to support local business. The price point was high and now the service doesn't match needless to say the product broken within 2 1/2 years.
