    Storage was clean and the employees very effective and friendly. Peter Martinez and John Graubner took care of us and made the process easy.

Art, Nate, David; this…read morereview is for yall I had a family friend named Denny who was like a father to me; before he passed, we came here many years ago; and after clearing some cabinets he told me to use this storage because the service was impeccable. I just chalked it up to old man stuff; who gets excited by storage? Well fast forward to today and now I'm an older man and let me tell you, service matters. Art was the first person to help me; he was so polite, helpful, and best of all, NOT PUSHY! He showed me all three units they had, and at the end I mentioned I was going to check out public storage, a competitor down the street. Art smiled and said I should def check them out, because it would mean I would be coming back to him. Boy was he right; I went, checked it out, and came running back the next day asking if Art still had space left for me Nate helped me with my paperwork, payment; etc etc, and like Art; wasn't pushy and ultra polite. My move in date was a week away, so he recommended we put a hold on the spot I wanted, and when I was ready, to call him up A week later, I called up the shop and they were able to not only rent me to unit; BUT offer a moving truck to help me move, free of charge! David drove the truck to my place, got the ramp down for us and when we were done, drove the truck back for us to offload. The entire time he too, like the other gentlemen prior, had impeccable manners and service Thank you sirs for making this the easiest and pleasant moving/storage experience If you want amazing service, prices, and REAL genuine manners, look no further! Art, David, and Nate are your guys! Thanks again yall

Her behavior was unprofessional, petty, and frankly, not what you'd expect from someone managing a customer-facing business. The final straw was when she told me to pack up and leave because I was draining only water -- nothing harmful, nothing dangerous -- just water. She claimed it was against policy, yet when I asked to see where that was stated in the lease agreement, she couldn't provide any clear documentation. Nothing in what she showed me outlined that I was in violation. It felt completely arbitrary and personal. She even made a point to say she's on-site and has seen burglaries and more. Hearing that from a manager actually made me feel less secure about storing my belongings there. Between that and her attitude, I knew this wasn't a place I wanted to leave my property. Katie's handling of the situation showed a serious lack of professionalism and understanding of the actual lease terms. If she's going to enforce rules, they should be clearly written and consistent -- not based on her mood or personal bias. At the very least, she should be trained on how to interpret and communicate policies properly. I would not recommend this location to anyone until there's a serious review of management. After how I was treated, I didn't feel safe or respected, and that's a non-negotiable when choosing a storage facility.

I was assured 3 separate times by 2 different people before I signed any agreements that that would be my rate and it would not go up within the first 6-12 months, and if it did then they would simply send a message to corporate to reduce the increase back to the special. So I believed them, signed, spent $1000 and an entire weekend moving from my other storage unit to this one. Not even 3 months in I am sent a rent increase to raise my rent in the next 30 days over 45%!!!!!!!! So, I do what I was instructed and have them contact corporate to reduce the increase. They won't budge, and all I'm told is sorry, I still have a good rate. This is unethical and malicious business practice that has now cost me hundreds of dollars more than if I had just stayed at my other unit because this unit is now the same price, and I'm out the cost of moving. I don't have enough money or time to move again to another facility. This place is a money hungry scam and I will be researching to see if this deceptive practice is even legal. Where are the consumer protections against these companies? Contacting the BBB to share my experience here and hopefully open up an investigation. I'm obviously not the only person to be scammed by PS. My advice to you, don't believe the deal they sell you and do not rent a unit here!!!!

    Never had any problems until the past week. I was in building 5 unit 579A…read more 6-26-24 I got a call from the property manager, Jasmine. I was notified that my storage unit "was tampered with and it looks like they weren't able to get in". At the end of the call she stated that she needed a key on file to work on getting the door fixed. I came in and talked to Jasmine and again insisted to have the key on file. Before I gave my key, I went to my unit just to check it out. I asked if there were any other units that were tampered with and she said that mine was the only one. I thought that was quite strange I went to my unit and I saw my unit was tampered with (they tried to pry the door open). I opened my unit and I saw everything was rummaged through. My bike and my camera were stolen. I was quite furious from what I saw and what was taken so I just locked up and went back to the front desk. I told Jasmine that my unit was broken in. I asked if I could see any video footage but I wasn't covered or insured so there's nothing I or A1 Storage could really do about it and that I would need to file a police report. There was not much sympathy but didn't think too much about it. I asked about when they would fix the door and she said it will be sometime within the week. Before I gave my key, I went back to my unit and took other valuables that they missed. I also put everything back and organized what was went through, locked up and went back to the office to hand Jasmine my key. I told her that the thing that was off was how they were able to lock the door with the metal shaft bent and my locks still in place 6-30-24 I came back around 6pm with my mom to my storage unit check my unit again just to take what other things that I could gather. After opening it up, my unit was rummaged through again. The door, lock/shaft looked to be the same as it was. It just boggled my mind how they were able to put it back without unlocking it. At this time I didn't want to assume but I was thinking maybe it was an inside job since they had my key and that I was told mine was the only one that was broken into. I was curious so I walked down neighboring units and I noticed a handful of units had their metal shafts cut open. My mom was worried for me so that's when I decided to just move out. Since it was already late, I thought to just do that the next day 7-1-24 I went into the office around 9am. The front door was closed and I called the number that was left on the door since it said they are on the property. Jasmine picked up and said that she'll be at the front desk shortly. She came in and she asked if I was the one that just called and showed me the red tag (tampered units). Seems like she remembers me from the week prior. I told her that my unit was broken into again. Again, no sympathy whatsoever, but I didn't need it. I then told her that there were 4 to 6 units that were broken into with the shafts cut. She looked frantic about the whole situation but who wouldn't if you're the only one managing the place. I asked if I could move out today and not be charged for the next month's rent since it is the 1st day of the month. She said I'm more than welcome to if I don't feel safe here. I was going to rate this place 0 stars but I thought granting me this deserved at least 1 star I started gathering my things and saw Jasmine, herself, working on replacing the shafts on the broken-into units. Made me wonder if she also calls the customers saying it looked like your door was tampered with but weren't able to get in I came across like 3 other people the day I moved out. I mentioned to them to be careful with the recent break-ins. I was glad I told them about it because they should know. However, Jasmine confronted me and asked me if I'm telling customers about the break-ins to not to do that because "it makes us look bad". Well, maybe they should have done a better job at securing the place. Btw, they should have door locks at the entry door of each building. I highly recommend to consider looking elsewhere
