Wow! This place is ridiculously awesome! I moved from Public Storage off Jamboree & Alton for a space here that was the EXACT SAME SIZE for $40 cheaper per month! There is always at least 2 if not 3 people in the office - unlike Public Storage where there's one person and you usually have to wait because they're out giving a tour to a potential new customer ;) I-5 Storage is so much better with their indoor facilities and shaded parking. Best part was they have a TRUCK available for you to move your items within the first two weeks. You don't need to rent a UHaul truck - just use theirs - yes you have to leave a deposit and fill up the tank when you're done but you get the whole deposit back if you don't jack up their truck when you return it. This is how a business like this is supposed to work. Easy renting experience, super secure facility, convenient online payments, friendly and helpful staff. We moved out of our apartment in January 2020, planning to move into my mother's for a few months and then buy our first home. Then COVID happened and a couple of months turned into a year. During this crazy time, I didn't worry once about our belongings (lots of our most used and loved kitchenware and small appliances, some of them wedding gifts we never got around to using in our cramped apartment), because of how secure this storage was when we brought our things in. Well, just closed on our house, so we went and picked up our belongings. Did final move out over the phone and the lady who helped us was super friendly and fast. I don't imagine I'll have the opportunity to use their services again, but I'd like people to know what a great business this is! read more

The manager Brian has snapped at me twice! Neither were my fault but he's quick to snap. Once accused me of taking someone's cart. I had my push cart all day and the matching key for the lock. He called me a liar, which is crazy! Another time they watched (on their cameras recording) that I'd parked near another renters abandoned folding metal shopping basket thing on wheels. They called me at home later that day to ask if I'd taken it! Maybe watch the entire video before calling and accusing people. Renters beware of the flying accusations before renting. I no longer want to go my rented unit by myself:/ Also, when I emailed (twice) about the issues I've had with employees, No one has gotten back to me! It's been months. read more

Starting off with the staff - they are HAPPY people. They were HELPFUL people. Answered every question, and pointed out things I didn't think of that will help me. I didn't even mention their prices are the BEST! The halls are clean and bright white. Easy to get to my unit. The halls are named after race cars making it easy to remember where to go. I just stopped by as a lark thinking they would be expensive. They weren't. They are the cleanest and best priced units anywhere...You should run by also and just see how I-5 can fit for you. read more

So far, the process of getting a unit and moving in has been quick and easy. I signed paperwork which was fast, paid, borrowed a truck, moved boxes into my unit and that was it. There is a keypad to enter the gates in and out which is nice for added security. The staff was very nice and welcoming and made things simple. I had a 5x10 storage unit here for a few years and saw the rates slowly rising. The unit was on the second floor, near the elevator, so it provided easy access and was convenient when it was time to move out. They do have extended hours past when the lobby closes. I did not worry when I left my items here, since they had cameras and though there were many units rented out, I didn't see much traffic. The facility is the best I be seen of the ones I visited near by if you're looking for a temp control, high security storage without the hassle. I have seen many different storage facilities and this beats them all for price and space. read more

So far so good! Just moved into this place after deciding to finally leave Public Storage. All the equipment is in good working condition, they have a great, easy access gate for loading and the staff is really friendly. They have bathrooms that are super clean and free rental trucks. Bonus is that they sell drinks at the front desk too, so after I was slowly dying from heat exhaustion after the move I was able to go to the front desk and buy some soda to rehydrate. Quick tip, reserve the truck as early as possible. I wasn't able to get it on the day I was moving in, but that was my own fault. read more

Facilities are safe, new, clean and offer easy access, but staff is not friendly. I walked in yesterday and chose I-5 because the reviews and deals are very good. From my experience: 1. Make sure you have RENTER'S INSURANCE, or else you CAN'T do business with them, they will sell you their own for $9/month. *Tip: If you have owners insurance, you are good! Home owners insurance covers it. However, they will not tell you this, since they want you to buy their own. 2. They only work with CYLINDER LOCKS. Bring your own. It is not cheap to buy it on site. *Tip: Bezel cylinder lock works great! If you don't have it, they sell it at the office. 3. There is a $22 administration fee. 4. Direct debit is not required, but they will KEEP YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION in paper (not electronically) and on file. I didn't feel comfortable doing this, but had no choice with my payment method option. Now that I got these 4 items handled, I look forward to enjoying my experience and hope I can refer I-5 to anyone who needs. read more

Have been with I five storage for 10 years plus and they wouldn't waive $114 late fee I've had the same card on file and because they switch out employees they don't honor people that I've been with them for years and years.
