Baker St. Pub & Grill is a gem! I've been on a mission to find authentic British fish and chips in the area, and this place finally hit the spot. The fish and chips were fantastic--I'd definitely have them again--and I love that they provide malt vinegar so you can enjoy them the traditional way. We also tried a couple of different appetizers, and they were equally as tasty. The food is backed up by very good, attentive service, making the whole experience even better. I will say the venue outside looked really cool for Baker Street Pub and Grill giving the Sherlock Holmes vibe. I do like the menu options of Shepherd's pie bites, Shepherd's pie and fish and chips. We did enjoy the fish and chips with shrimp and shepherd's pie bites. However I wanted some bangers and mash, beans on toast and scotch eggs. We went to see England play in the World Cup and we didn't see a lot of people here to watch the game. The service was slow but we could tell the waitress and manager were talking a lot so we were patient. The waitress did apologize and after seeing the reviews I hope this place picks up because it looks like a cool place. You should try the shepherd's pie bites. They're really delicious. read more

This was a disappointing night to step out for dinner. I do enjoy coming here, but last night missed the mark. I had only eaten snacks earlier, so I was really looking forward to a good meal. Unfortunately, the "award-winning" cod wasn't winning any awards. The batter was so thick that when I opened it, the inside felt sponge-like, and the fish itself had no flavor beyond tasting like it came straight from the freezer. I also ordered a mocktail, and even that was underwhelming. Honestly, I would have been better off ordering a simple mineral water with lime. I spent over $21 on food and still tipped the waitress $5 because she was friendly and polite, even though I never received silverware. Don't get me wrong--the crowd is diverse, and the music is good, which is part of why I enjoy coming here. But I left still hungry, and as a full-blooded Texas woman, that just won't do. I ended up having to stop at a fast-food spot afterward just to eat. Disappointing experience, to say the least. read more

Super disappointing experience. I've been to Baker St multiple times and normally have decent service, but tonight our server (never gave us his name) was super unprofessional. I arrived later than my party and didn't ever get offered a drink I had to flag him down when he was dropping off a drink to my friend (which wasn't even the drink she ordered) we were literally his only table at the time (8 to 10pm) and we were completely ignored for most of time we were there.. my friends and i have all worked/work in the service industry and never had such bad service or would ever give service like that. we ended up just paying and leaving because of him + its lowkey stinky in there It was my friend's birthday and it would have been an easy fat tip if we would've just gotten decent service.. read more

It's closed and gone. Gradually went downhill after being a shoo-in location the place lost its way. The Covid break certainly made folks realize that buying cans at the supermarket and sipping at home was much, much cheaper than drinking ( and eating) out. Owners missed an opportunity by not organising some typical Brit nights or similar marketing ploys - maybe darts tournament or similar group activities, to invigorate the place. read more

Don't waste your money on this place. I wish they wouldn't just shut the door and be done with it. I took my parents there for 1/2 off burgers. Such disappointment. The place smell like old and dirty carpet. My husband's beer look like piss water. And my burger only season on one side and no taste on other side. I got so sick last night after I had their food. I called and spoke with the manager Carl today. What a joke. He said he would talk to the head chief. It's just roll down hill from manager and down. I used to love this place. I was in search of Good Old English Fish & Chips: Entered this quaint establishment for the very first time. Immediately greeted by the sound of a miniature sized dog in the arms of his owner at the bar. Not choosing to leave, was told to seat ourselves. Food: Very Mid. I ordered the Fish & Chips. Other members in our party ordered Wings and Fries. I had to find someone to bring missing fries after waiting for more than:15 minutes, which should have come with their meal. Chicken had the texture and appeal of gorilla ankles. The fish was not fresh. Gave overall straight from the freezer appearance. Finally when leaving, I had to finally flag the lady down at the bar to settle our check, because our server never returned. While there, I asked the male server for an Olive. Revisiting the relics of my late twenties and, boy, are my memories faulty. Baker St. was more reminiscent of stale European grime than the quaint pub I remember. Their beer offerings are limited and none of them are British, despite being named and themed after THE Baker St. of myth and legend. Legendary, it is not. Save your pennies. Fly to England. My experience at Baker St. Pub & Grill was just okay, it wasn't the best but not the worst either. This is a good spot to grab SOME drinks and be on your way. I wouldn't say this is the best hang out spot since I didn't find the vibes to be all there. They do have a front patio if you want to sit outside. There's a happy hour drink menu which is at a reasonable price. My 5 friends and I decided to come here to have a couple of drinks before heading to constellation field for a baseball game. I went ahead and ordered something simple that you can't mess up, which is 2 shots of Jack Daniel's. Then for my meal I got the Bacon Cheddar burger and I added caramelized onions & for my side I chose the onion rings (extra 1.49). The burger was underwhelming in taste & considering I asked for medium rare, it came out well done and the patty was dry & flavorless. It says on their menu that they hand make their patties but to be honest it just tasted like frozen from the bag. Even with the caramelized onions on top of the burger the meat was still dry. The only nice thing that I can say is that the bun was toasted nicely with butter & the bacon was good. The portion of my onion rings was small & it came out close to cold. The batter was crispy but unfortunately it was greasy. I also got to try my friend chicken tender and it was a different take on how we usually make them, it was made with like a fish and chips batter which I find a bit odd but this is an English Pub so I guess it's understandable. Our server Ben was attentive and laid back but he forgot to bring out my sauces, however he fixed the issue ASAP. Overall it was alright, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back but with a group of friends, yes. It's your typical bar food but below par quality food. read more

The Butcher and the Candle Stick Maker are just two of the regulars here, and it shouldn't be confused with that good old watering hole in Southern California (Bakersfield Pub). This is a nice busy English pub right in the middle of the mall. I wish the food was a bit more true to English standards and recipes because it is pretty Americanized, but you come here for the alcohol and the drinking, and if that's the case then you probably won't be too disappointed. read more

Came at least twice a week Decided against my better judgement to give them one last try and again. Not only was I charged FULL PRICE for something that I ordered from the lunch menu BUT BOTH TIMES I WAS CHARGED EXTRA FOR CHICKEN ON A SALAD THAT HAS CHICKEN ALREADY ON IT!!!! The first time it happened the kitchen was slow, I was on my lunch and I didnt have time to argue with the waitress but pointed out the salad comes with chicken and I just paid it and left. The waitress today wanted to argue and I didn't feel the need so I asked her politely to go get a menu. Instead she kept yelling at me that she needed to charge me for the "protein". The other ladies at the table with me kept telling her they read it on the menu as well. Instead of getting a menu she just stood there yelling it does not come with chicken so I finally yelled at her real loud to go get a menu. She brings the menu and I show her the word CHICKEN and she continued to argue that it did not have chicken!!! Obviously she can't read and she again yelled it don't come with chicken and asked me with attitude if I wanted her manager. He comes over and I tell him I ordered the chopped Cobb and asked for the chicken to be fried. That's it!!!! He understand and took the chicken off.
