Came here after work and this place exceeded our expectations! Service was very nice and friendly (when I get my receipt I'll put her name but she served us on 10/2 from around 8-10pm). She refilled our waters, got our order and was really patient when we didn't know what we wanted. I got the queso for an appetizer and it was pretty good! I will say, it has a kick (which I liked). For my entree I got the Baked Rigatoni Pasta! Did not disappoint, will absolutely be getting this again! Also, we had some good drinks too! Espresso martini and a Blackberry Collin's. Let's not pretend like anyone goes to brick house for the great food or drinks. It's basically a sports bar. Wife and I went last night to way the fight, and we asked to sit inside because it was very humid outside, but apparently the AC was broken, because it was blazing hot inside. Many tables were fanning themselves with the drink menu. I asked our waitress if they could turn the air down, and she said she would ask the manager. She came back and said he turned it down, however there was no change at all. Towards the end of the night, the manager (I'm assuming - bald African American guy with glasses) went around rudely asking everyone if they were finished with their drinks and plates. When I told him I was still drinking my water, he asked for the menu, and I asked if I could keep it because I was using it as a fan, and he said "we about to close" and walked away from the table with it. Poor service forces us to take our business elsewhere. read more

Was the slowest service I have received on a MONDAY night with barely anyone in the establishment. Mind you, we were outside so I'm sure they forgot about us. I don't know what compelled me to order a steak at a tap house restaurant but I did. And boy was it the WORST steak I have ever eaten. My partner who doesn't cook has made a steak 100x better than this restaurant. The steak was chewy, hard to cut into, and bland. No matter much extra salt was added, the steak never received its flavor. I was so desperate for flavor that I did the unthinkable and dipped the steak into cheese sauce. Overall, not only was my dish appalling, so was the rest of my table. We had to remind our server, Michelle, multiple times for refills and simple requests. I bet we could have dined and dashed and the server would not notice our departure. I recommend going to the gringos across the street or salt grass. read more

Went here for the first time with friends for Happy Hour. I didn't think there would be a lot of food to choose from their Happy Hour menu but there was! They offered more happy hour food at their location than what was posted in the online menu; at least 3-4 more items. We ordered the wings, mozzarella bricks and chips with queso. The food was good but the customer service was exceptional! Not only was our server very attentive but the manager came by our table a couple of times to check on us. We never had to wonder where our server had wondered off to. After about an hour and a half of sitting there, we noticed a young lady singing in the opposite corner. She had such a beautiful voice! We now know that on Fridays, there's a live band and we will be sure to go back. read more

I had a craving for pub food. I went in and I ordered the fried deviled eggs, which were very delicious. I was surprised that I liked the fresh jalapeño on top, but it was a nice addition. The only deep fried the white egg, and then added the creamy filling and then touch of the fresh jalapeño with bacon. It was the MVP of the night I ordered a mango Mojito, but was just given a plain Mojito... It was delicious, but not what I asked for. Then I ordered shrimp porboy. there was way too much bread, it wasn't even crispy or toasted. There were fried onions along with the fried shrimp, both of which were decent, but when you're thinking, poor boy, you think of something a little bit spicy that was completely missing. There was lots of tomato lots of lettuce, everything looked very fresh . It was just completely missing the Cajun heat. I mostly enjoyed everything but I left a little disappointed. The service was really great. My waitress did a great job. I think the bartender is the one who messed up on the Mojito, because it was written on my check. The bar itself was beautiful, the seating was very comfortable. Kind of like couches pulled up to a table, also there were stools and regular seating if you wanted. There was also a patio. And the games were on everywhere, with subtitles for those who wanted it if you're just looking for a burger I'm betting this is one of those great places to go sadly that was not what I chose to get. read more

I had gone many times in the past and everything was great, this last time my family sat down on the patio next to a white couple, they kept on staring at us and giving us a nasty look, for some reason they didn't want us there, they went to the manager and complained about us being there with kids and because my wife and her sister were speaking Spanish? although it was in the afternoon around 7pm. At that point the waitress brought us the check as if "rushing" us to leave because the customers complaining were regulars there....although we were regulars too! Not very happy about this last experience, those clients should've been put in their place by the manager, instead he sided with them. Not cool read more

She's a brick house, and so is this restaurant. Expensive, overpriced, drinks average, food below par, obsession of many with bad taste, but always gets 3 stars from me (at least) because the servers are friendly, and extraordinarily attractive, which I guess is the point. But they are literally the only reason I recommend coming here. read more

We came for brunch on a Sunday and got there right when opening at 11:00. It did not get busy until around noon. The mimosas were good and the brunch menu was decent. I had the chicken and waffles and it was really good and a good portion. We were going to sit outside but it was a little chilly in January so we opted to sit right by the fire inside. Our family of six sat on the patio and ordered appetizers, flatbread, salad and drinks. After receiving our initial orders, our server pretty much showed up only if we hunted her down. It wasn't busy, early afternoon on a Sunday. Food was decent, nothing remarkable, service was tolerable at best. Went in a Friday. They were crowded but did not have to wait long for a table. Very nice atmosphere and they show lots of sports. I ordered the half rack of ribs. Now this is not a BBQ restaurant so I was not expecting much and I did get much. They are tender but really no flavor except the BBQ sauce on the out side and it was sweet. They come with fries and coleslaw. What they give you for coleslaw is a JOKE. It comes in a condiment little cup. I have had other items before, so I will be back. Not much chicken in it, but the pie was very tasty. I liked the flaky crust. PHILLY CHEESE Steak $16 - (Ribeye & Provolone cheese, with onions & peppers) - Comes w/ coleslaw and fries (or tots). All was good. Ribeye was pretty tender. Bf got some perry cider in a can ($5.50). It was good and I don't even like alcohol. It was kinda sweet. Waitress also recommended the shrimp salad and thai chicken salad (along w/ what we ordered). She said chicken & waffles are good there too. I knew I was in trouble when I walked in. Young lady at the counter seemed bored and uninterested, she sat us at a bench seat which was the only positive thing about the dinner. She took our drink order And the drinks came out quick. However after that it went down hill even faster . Order appetizers they came out cold. We had nothing to eat the appetizer with, no plates, forks or knives. I had a meal that was suppose to come with a salad, I did not get one. One order was a steak, it was very tough and no steak knife to cut it, My child ordered fries no ketchup brought with dinner. Drink refills just were not coming to the table. I did not eat here, this review is only for the service, beer and the place in general. The service overall was pretty good. The bartenders were attentive and I never waited long for a refill. The were also just nice and friendly. The place itself was really nice with a great outdoor area and the bar opened to the deck area with chairs to sit at the bar. If you are a beer drinker the selection is a joke unless you like mass produced beer or beer that tastes like mass produced beer. The tap and bottle selection was just plain bad. I lucked out and found one IPA on tap that was worth drinking. After spending a couple of weeks in this area I had the feeling that that was just what people here liked to drink. read more

Service got off to a bad start as we didn't know who our server even was at first, but the manager saved the day with free appetizers . I like the vibe here. Everyone is friendly, the food was really good and that fire place is warm and cozy inside. I've seen some people come in here and get wasted lol . People definitely have a great time here at the bar. They have some games in the back also for kids or anyone who wants to play; darts and I think one other thing. Its a nice luxury sports bar vibe with a great sound system and many flat screens from all angles of the establishment. Brick House is a great place for football watching or other sports. They seem very gracious about turning the tv on to appropriate games. The staff all try very hard and the food is consistently good. Well priced and abundant. We had the meatballs as an appetizer yesterday and they were great. They serve brunch items on Saturday and Sunday, and everyone around us seemed to really enjoy their food. A nice fireplace on a cold day as well!! read more

We came to check out the new darts area! I believe this replaced some arcade games, but I'm not 100% positive. We had a great time and enjoyed the new boards! The set up is great, and there is decent room to play. Unfortunately, if the tables by the area are full, it doesn't leave much room to play darts unless you invade the table's space. We will definitely be coming back, though. We love the brunch here and the Bloody Mary's are incredible! Love the deviled egg on top. We will enjoy the dart area when it it's time crowded, and we always enjoy the food. read more

Went here last Friday night GF had the pot pie which didn't have very much chicken. I would consider it a vegetable pot pie. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. I would not recommend this sandwich as it was pretty much all breading. All in all this place is good just for the bar and patio but I would pass on the food. read more
