I am so upset and disgusted by this particular location today. I am a huge fan of all Bakers! I love that they offer vegetarian and vegan options. Today we went through this drive thru on our way home. It's conveniently located near a freeway exit and on ramp. When my husband ordered at the drive thru window they kept saying they couldn't understand us even though we were speaking clearly and loud enough for them to hear us. I ordered the vegetarian combo burrito that comes with soy meat and beans, no cheese and fries and iced tea. The young man at the window repeated the order after several attempts to make sure he got it right. We pulled up to the window, paid and left. We were already on the freeway when I opened the bag and took one bite out of the burrito and realized it was real meat! I was so upset! I do not eat meat. This was by far the worst experience I've had at any of the Bakers locations. I will not return to this location. It really seemed they did not have their act together. I own rental property in the area so it would be convenient but I'll go to a different location. The service at this one is terrible. I'm so annoyed I didn't get lunch and on top of that I ate meat and I do not ever eat meat. Very disappointed. Wasted time and wasted money. read more

Baker's is THE BOMB. I F'N LOVE BAKERS. This place is like the ULTIMATE stoner food paradise. It's like the concept of Del Taco except the food is actually extremely bomb. The burgers are comparable with In-N-Out quality, and the mexican food side is equally delicious. They had a deal once, 2 tacos and a drink for $1 and a burger and a drink for $2. That's a better taco deal than Jack N The Box and straight up - their tacos are not greasy but delicious with fresh tomatoes and lettuce. Every time I go to the Inland Empire, I have to stop by Baker's. It's a tradition. I feel bad I didn't take advantage more of Baker's while I was going to UCR, but heck if I did - I'd probably be 300+ pounds by now lol. I really appreciate Baker's large selection of vegetarian food. Tacos, burritos, bun tacos, burgers - lots of options. The food is good, the portions decent, and the price is fair. Probably one of the most underrated fast food places out there. And the habanero ketchup is amazing read more

Baker's is my go-to replacement since there's no McDonald's close by. It tastes alright by me, but a bit too pricey for my liking. The burgers are also too small, considering the price. Imagine a McDonald's $1 cheeseburger or McChicken - it's the same size. I'm a fan of the Caribbean Chicken burger, it's great with ranch but of course they charge for ranch too. Ridiculous. Friendly customer service and food is normally freah and hot. Tryd the teriyaki chicken sandwich it was ok.. I thought it was makde with a freash chicken breast but its not. The teriyaki sauce mixed with their dressing (thousand island) was not to my liking. read more

Go there a lot for their tacos and mini-quesadillas. The last visit ended up with green chili's on the quesadilla and half of the taco's broken so you could not pick them up to eat. I went by a couple days ago and was assisted by a worker named Annie. short, brunette, caucasian maybe. she was very unprofessional, gave me a certain tone that i didn't not appreciate, impatient, and judgmental. she doesn't use the right words with customers which is one bad employee right there. I also seen the way she treats her other colleagues, bosses them around and doesn't give out a hand. When calling out my order she tossed the food onto the counter which once again, was not right. the restaurant itself was not busy which confused me on why she treated me that way. I've been to this bakers for a while now and have never been treated this way by an employee, having her as a worker makes the restaurant look like an unprofessional environment so please take my review seriously on her work ethic. read more

2nd time here this week, dropped in a couple months ago as well when I was in town on the advisement of a coworker. For what it is, a fast food/drive thru place, it's pretty solid. I've had a sandwich as well as some of the tacos and they're pretty passable. One thing I really do like are their hot sauces (in packets), very flavorful and a nice surprise compared to other fast food taco joints. Been going to this place for years. The last week i came here twice and had something wrong with my orders. I'm not one to complain but if something happens more then once then I'll mention it. I ordered a chocolate shake with my order and the chocolate was expired. I let it go then went to bakers two days after and made another order , I wanted a pink lemonade but they said they discontinued it so I asked for a orange fanta, so I got home and my drink didn't have any sweet taste at all and I never mentioned it to them. I came today and made another order but let them know my situation the past couple times. Guy at the window told me the chocolate sundays expire after a year which wasn't true. Mine was bitter. I asked if I could have a free Sunday for the inconvenience but he denied. I love this place but really don't appreciate the way I was treated. I hope things change. I'll be calling corporate tomorrow to let them know about the expired chocolate. I guess they thought I was lying. Does it take somebody to get sick from expired food for them to believe? I just had to leave a this review about the Baker's on Main street in Riverside. I've been coming to this Baker's for the past 15 years and up until here recently, they seemed to always have good customer service and quality food...fries were always hot and fresh etc. Things have changed- I believe the older Caucasian lady is the manager and had always been pleasant. It may be time for her to pass the reigns to someone else because she's not so pleasant anymore. She doesn't smile and appears to be rushy and unhappy. Yesterday I went through the drive thru and asked for the Deal of the Day, a veggie burrito. the girl that took my order repeated it back to me..."one deal of the day, veggie burrito, okay, would you like to add anything else?" By the time I got to the window, I had received an call from the hospital regarding my daughter. the girl told me how much it was and I gave her $3. She then said, "I need the coupon" I told her "it's on my phone" she said "I know, I need you to pull it up" and told her that I was on an important call and couldn't access internet while I was on the call. Mind you, I order Deal of the Day often and I never experienced being turned away and given my money back due to not showing them the internet. I mean seriously, how the heck did I know that the veggie burrito was the deal of the day. The manager (that lady) was standing right there and should have honored my order. Worst customer service. Girl taking my order extremely rude and was not wearing a name tag, so don't knew what her name is. Her negativity definitely shows she does not want to be there. We were driving through on our way out of town and stopped in to use bathroom and grab lunch today. Never been to a Baker's but was super impressed with the friendliness of its employees and the cleanliness of the facility. The bathroom smelled so clean and the whole place sparkled! I had a horrible experience with the team leader or perhaps supervisor Lynda at this location. I drove up to the drive thru speaker and had not yet decided on my meal. I told the drive thru attendant (Lynda, older lady with a hoarse voice) that I needed a moment. She must have forgot to turn off the microphone because she stated "he's not ready yet" in a sarcastic manner. A few seconds later, I ordered my food and her immediate response was "oh, now he's ready to order." Again, in a sarcastic tone under the impression that the microphone was off. I then called her out on it by stating that I could hear everything she stated over the speaker. Her response was "no one was talking about you." Rather than take responsibility for her actions she continued with the sarcasm and kept saying "no one was talking about you." I then drove up to the window. Both her and an employee named Raquel were looking at me with a grin. I asked for her name and Lynda began to spell her name out to me. Again, in a sarcastic tone. Unfortunately, this was not the first time I've seen Lynda's unprofessional behavior. She is not friendly and clearly hates her job by the way she treats people. This is usually my go to bakers , but today was probably one of my worst experiences there. I got the 2 bean and cheese burrito meal and was clearly informed the meal would be $5.86 after tax , but the lady charged me $7.07 . I asked her about the amount and she again with attitude said $5.86 when the receipt says other wise. The lady was EXTREMELY RUDE and gave us attitude the whole time . She did not seem like she cared about customer service at all and looked like she does not enjoy working there. I was shocked that they had vegetarian food. I ordered the vegetarian taco burger it was nasty. It tasted like they just microwave the meat with the lettuce and the bun cause it was stale and hard. I love fast food, and I feel ashamed sometimes that I often times forget about Bakers. Good burgers, I use to devour the Papa Meal with a Chocolate Shake when I was in high school. As others have said, the burgers are very similar to In N Out. One thing they have I haven't seen anywhere else is the Habenaro Catchup, it's real spicy. Not burn your tongue off, but definitely hot enough where I honestly can't tell it's even Catchup. This is freaking delicious to dip your fries in. I use to love their Taco's back in the days. And for those who can't/don't eat Pork. Their breakfast sandwich is made with Beef Sausage. I don't remember what it tastes like (been forever) but everything else here is damn tasty so I don't see why this would be any different. read more
