Came on Saturday afternoon for some beers and Mr. Bulgogi food truck. Loved the beer, the variety of seating areas, and Mr. Bulgogi's food. Had a great, relaxing afternoon and am looking forward to returning! Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Drove by a couple of times and finally got a chance to stop in. As you enter, you will be walking into a well lit wide open space. You can walk straight to the counter to be able to order your drinks. They seem to be family friendly. Counter/ bar seating, couches to have a conversation with friends or on the outside you have tables. The staff is very friendly and they have a nice varieties of beers. They seem to have different food trucks nightly. Their grand opening will be June 20th. I do recommend you giving them a try!

No complaints about Blue Sparrow. The food was amazing and so accommodating. My girl friends and I came after four years of me wanting to come here. I love Gravel Grinder and live close to an OTB so heard of Dancing Gnome from that. Finally made our way there and well, make sure you do not bring young kids. My friend had an 18 month old with us and as she was BUYING a beer from them, the guy who worked there asked if she "could keep the screaming to a minimum." An eighteen month old!!! And Mother's Day is tomorrow, nice. He said that they had to draw a line somewhere and he wasn't kidding. The 18 month old was not running around screaming crying all day. We were outside having the kids play and when my friend was buying a beer he got a bit fussy and was told to keep it to a minimum. Needless to say, we will NOT be coming back. If you have small children, I would not suggest this place. Super disappointing. I've always hyped their beer and place up and now I can't support it. We ended up going to Grist House and it was a WAY better vibe and WAY busier...I wonder why. I should have known when their sign said no dogs allowed.

This is part of the Hazelwood Brew House complex, which means there's enough space that things don't seem too loud or too over-full. I went on a Saturday afternoon and absolutely enjoyed the beer. There are food options available in the same facility, but they are offered separately from any of the breweries. As best as I can tell, parking is all on the street, but it wasn't hard to find a reasonable spot right out back. In terms of service, I have no complaints. It doesn't take much to keep an eye on the level of my pint glass while I do some reading, but the bar tender felt responsive, asked if I wanted another just moments before I finished my first pint. I didn't get the impression that the she was a beer nerd, but she was absolutely very helpful and attentive. In any case, I highly recommend checking out the whole complex.

Super friendly and you can sample the beers - they even encourage you to sample before deciding on a pour. We each tasted a few then ordered a flight of three: El Hefe Esta Loco (my favorite), East Coast Haze (his favorite out of all 3 breweries today) and Blonde Ambition. The beers were all refreshing and flavorful. I also tasted the confluence (a must try in Pittsburgh) and it's great if you are looking for a lighter beer.
