This business has gone down hill over the last several years. They decided to use a system called Klara which is a total waste of time. We were scheduled to see Dr. Pregit in Sept but were told she was out on leave and Dr. Rago was taking her patients. At that time I rescheduled our appointments for the next available time which was in mid Oct. On the day of our appointment I was told they didn't have anything scheduled for us. Trying to communicate with the business is really hard. Be prepared to be frustrated. read more

Terrible service, no one picking up the phone and when I call to get refills it's a nightmare! Dr. Della is in Lala land with her red and purple hair and refusing to get back to me in time to give me a refill very disorganized staff. This place is dangerous! They ordered my husband baseline labs to see what is going on. He never got a call back. He walked around for 4 weeks with full blown leukemia. Dr. Cafaro is the most kind and caring MD I have met in a long time.. Tom, Josh & Stephanie are such a professional and knowledgeable staff.. I seriously cannot recommend them enough ! It is so refreshing to find a Dr office that makes your experience as hassle free as possible, while ensuring that you are an active participant in your healthcare treatment plan. The results of my blood work were explained in detail.. I don't know that I have ever had some of them explained before! Dr. Pragit is great but the front staff are inept. I tried calling to let them know I was going to be late and request rescheduling BUT no answer. I called a solid 1/2 hour with no answer. I arrived 12 minutes late and told to wait. There are 4 ladies sitting there by the phone. It's typical to sit in waiting room an hour with this practice so I assumed no big deal. Last visit for labs I waited over an hour and the front said nothing about lab techs were out on lunch. The waiting room was packed with people wait on land. After sitting a bit, one of the many receptionist finally said I'd have to reschedule two weeks out after waiting a month for my appointment. I won't go back there. I hope Dr. Pagit finds another practice. The front suck in customer service. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Cafaro's for over a year, and I truly have never felt like I was in better hands from a health care provider. During my original consultation, he listened with intention, and gave me his diagnosis of what could be the problem, but wanted to wait for blood work to be sure. Blood work came back with low levels and he was able to rapidly get me on a plan to get my energy back. A previous healthcare provider tried to diagnose me with an iron deficiency, and then even offered me antidepressants. Dr. Cafaro investigated and discovered the hormone imbalance and it was solved almost immediately. I also love the staff, including Tom, and the sweet woman at the front desk. I especially love that when I call, I'm not sent through an automated system. An actual human answers the phone after the first couple rings. I can normally get an appointment same day if need be. The scheduler really goes above and beyond to make things convenient. Overall, I find this office to be clean, full of friendly faces, and I am forever grateful to them for finally getting an answer to my sleepiness and low energy. Hard to imagine another doctors office having this kind of exceptional customer service. I refer lots of friends and family here, and they all say the same thing. read more

Balance Hormone showed a blatant disregard for my health and well-being. They provided negligently careless service and displayed acute indifference to my condition or improvement. After selling me 3 months worth of product with no improvements in testosterone level, they finally upped my dose. They failed to place me on estrogen blockers until it was too late, leaving my chest deformed. They casually offered to "just do a quick surgery to fix it". I also developed erythrocytosis, a thickening of a blood. I was not warned of this, or given corrective treatments. This left me sick and unconscious after a simple hike. My condition was so severe, I required sheriff rescue and hospitalization. I was advised by doctors to stop seeking "care" from Balance Hormone immediately. Their only goal is to sell you product, regardless of the cost to your health. Please, please, don't make the mistakes I did. I give them two stars since at least the facility is clean and the receptionists are nice. read more

I was scheduled for a 2:00 appointment. I showed up at 2:00 and waited until 2:30 before going to the receptionist to ask about my appointment. They told me they were double booked and my appointment would not be starting until 2:45. So unprofessional. If you make a mistake you need to inform the customer. read more

Unbelievable experience at BHC today. I had a consult with Michelle Resendez to discuss my bloodwork and it was one hour of her explaining everything in detail. Michelle is caring, kind and takes her time to explain every detail of what your results are. I was pelleted after the consult and felt absolutely nothing. Tom and the staff are so incredible and kind they make you feel at home from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend this office to anyone that wants to feel their best. read more

I have nothing negative to about this place. It took 17 months and numerous visits to other doctors to find out why I was covered head to toe with a rash. I met with Michelle Amado ...and she knew what to test me for and she was dead on correct. Now time for proper treatment and recovery. I couldn't be more thankful. I have given this office several chances and each time they disappoint. The first time I visited their location (which is extremely hard to find) I was told upon arrival that I must have blood work done before a provider would even meet with me, however I was there for something unrelated. So then I asked why that wasn't mentioned to me PRIOR to coming in and she didn't have an answer. Also, them trying to deal with insurance is a nightmare. Fast forward to a large man in plain clothes who didn't identify himself (is he a secretary, is he a phlebotomist, etc?) attempted to take my blood. He stabbed me 3 times in different arms and had no luck. Then told me I would need blood taken from a vein in my hand bc he wasn't able to get it from my arm. So after the 4th unsuccessful attempt in my hand I asked him to stop. He then got rude with me and told me he "hasn't missed in years" as if it was my fault somehow he was unable to hit a vein. Since he was unsuccessful, he directed me over to a lab in the complex (where I waited for 30 mins before being seen) to only be told they don't take my insurance, which the man knew. So ultimately I had to take more time off to go to Sonora Quest (who the big man is not a fan of) and they got it on the first try. After receiving my results I was told I had some abnormal levels in my blood work, which were actually in range according to the lab. I was prescribed a medication and told to take the dosage as recommended, then call a week before running out so I can have my blood work redone to see how the medication was working out, which I did. The lab only takes 1-2 days to return results. I had blood work done on a Monday, called BHC on Thursday to see if they received them, and the big unidentified man claimed he did not receive them yet. At this point I am out of medication for a few days already. I call the following Monday morning and the big man told me that they just came in on Sat. I asked him why it took so long and he said some negative things about the lab and then asserted he didn't get them until Saturday and I need to stop asking. Really? I right then and there decided that I wouldn't give them any more chances and asked him to email the blood results to me so I can take them to a clinic that actually knows what's going on. When I received them, it clearly shows they were sent on Thursday. So someone is lying and I've been without meds for over a week. It's now been 1.5 weeks and even after my calls to them, no one has bothered to follow up. Bottom line is this place is not only rude, but incompetent and I still have the same issues I went in for. Stay away and go to someone reputable. read more

Was told by a "trite" girl that I had to contact "billing" by e-mail................ ............Seriously?.............Asked for phone # multiple times only to be told it was the same one I called......... ..........OK? Had to press farther to find out "billing" is out of the office for some days.............OK? Really? Made to feel like I wasn't entitled to ask questions about paying my bill.............. ..........OK? Is customer service so bad now that it takes posting here to draw proprietors attention? If the "trite" girl had some training and phone manners this could have been avoided, o well...............? read more

I love the staff, Tom and Stephanie, and the rest are a great team and always makes me feel welcome and special. The testosterone shots that I'm taking have made a big improvement in my daily life. I just feel better. sleep better. I'm a middle aged man and its much easier to maintain and build muscle and bone mass. I seem to have much less leg pain now as before I started the therapy, notably less pain. that's a big deal. They're good folks, totally legit, always available to answer questions. I took my 79 year old mother in and we both had pellets inserted , this was her first time , I had received them years ago. Not only did my mother see a major improvement in her energy we have seen an increase in her cognitive skills. This was much more affordable than when I got them years ago costing $600 less I'd recommend anyone considering pellets to go to balance hormones center you won't regret it. BE AWARE!! I have been with this office for a little more than a year. Michelle is great and if she were to move offices I would love to continue seeing her. The office staff and their lack of professionalism and knowledge is why I left them. When I started with them there was a gentleman by the name of Josh working there. The office was organized and not a zoo like I have experienced since he is no longer there. Twice Lena has given me the wrong amount of hormones in my shots. The first time I fortunately looked at the syringes before I left the parking lot. Each one had a different amount in it. I went back up to the office and asked a different P.A. to fill them. Two weeks ago I went in to get more and even though Lena took me back I thought its been months..she has to have this down by now. I went on to my next appointment in a rush trusting what I had been given. This time there was hardly any in each syringe. I work full time and do not live close to the office. Two weeks later I was able to make it in and get them filled correctly. In the interim since I did not have the correct dose I have been putting up with hot flashes and the blues. I have spent too much of my time and money with this office. When I went in to get my records and the correct amounts in the syringes I had already purchased there was one girl at the front desk with a lobby full of disgruntled patients. They had been waiting so long that when the P.A. came out to call someone back they had already left the office and the girl at the front desk had no clue they were gone. Dr. Cafaro was in and out of the hallway oblivious as to what was going on in his own office. There are too many other well ran,organized, trained professional staff that can be trusted at other Dr. Offices in the valley to put up with this lack of consideration and rudeness. My health is too important to risk with staff that are not trained and a Dr. who has no clue what is going on in his own practice. read more

I started going here a month ago. My first impression was it was clean and the staff was super friendly. I had heard about the hormone pellets for years, but was always to nervous to try it as they stay in your system for 3-4 months. After consulting with Dr. Cafaro he assured me that it would be life changing and I should give it a try with all the symptoms I had with the low levels of hormones. I did and he was right!
