Just pressed on my foot. I was not seen until some time around 1:22 pm, when he came into the door, he did not introduce himself, he did not have a name tag. Did not apologize for being late for almost an hour waiting. This initial visit was such a waste of time and I felt they just want you to get the shot and make me wait for another 30-45 minutes. I will not be coming back. During the whole time I was there, not one employee said, "sorry for the wait." No one. Wasted buying a USB for the Dr. to say we have nothing to plug that into. What! Absolutely blatantly dishonest business. I called to ask if they use brand name medication or compounded medication, and they very confidently said they use brand name medication on the phone. Then I made the trip to their clinic. When I got there, no questions asked, no confirmation whatsoever, they just wanted to draw blood and charge the blood testing fee. (not to mention the blood drawing station looks really sketchy). So I got my blood drew only to find out they lied about their medication on the phone. They promised to run my blood test for free as a courtesy. Two days later, they called me and said they didn't ship my blood to the lab that runs tests and the blood had gone bad, and they want me come in to draw blood again. Lies after lies after lies. I called Balanced Medical after a friend was raving about his experience on TRT. I was skeptical at first but I've had really good results. My energy level improved immediately and I noticed my mood got much better, even though I'm the type that's always in a good mood to begin with. I do little things like start talking to random strangers just walking down the street. I had plateaued in the gym for years. After only a month on TRT, I started adding weight to the bar. I'm a little over a year into the treatment and I've had consistent gains to the point where people comment when I lift. I'm 42 and I'm outperforming the 20 year old's. My body also doesn't store fat like it used to. I feel like I can pig out (on the right types of food, not cake or junk food) and it all goes to lean muscle. I had to call them several times because they were communicating not at all. I asked over and over, do you use BioTe brand pellets. "Oh, yes." The non physician owner/manger said it's "bio identical", so it's the same pellet. It is NOT. Women MDs need stamina. I'm in a hospital all day. I need this medicine. I paid $799 and didn't get BioTe because of this shoddy operation. The PA told me Russian medical school was "as good as the US" and that getting her PA "was easier". Why did I need to hear this? Weird. I was obviously dissatisfied and I heard this crap staff and PA laughing about me. So they are jerks who need thicker walls in this like of an establishment. At first they seemed like a caring clinic, but after spending a bit of cash there I realized that they not only just wanted me for my money, but that they also don't know what they're doing. They lied to my face so they could sell me a prescription to "make me feel better." Before buying the prescription, they told me that if this specific medication was not helping me feel better, that we would look at other options. I kid you not I come in a few weeks later for another blood test and explained to them that I was getting severe side effects from this medication and wanted to begin something else. You know what they did? They said to keep taking this and that they wouldn't offer TRT for someone my age. Before buying the prescription$$ they told me the exact opposite. Sounds like a money grab to me. They also offered me B12 shots after the first visit without even having my lab results which means that they're trying to sell you potentially non-needed medication just to make a buck. They were trying to tell me that the B12 shots would increase my energy etc. and while it could, I don't think that's a good first protocol to give someone and makes it seem like the clinic lacks knowledge. I declined and said that I wanted other options. Their staff do not even know how to correctly dose the medication they prescribe you and it's insanely dangerous. Multiple staff member at this place gave me different instructions on how to dose my medication. The first guy told me to take an 0.5mg of Anastrozole (an estrogen blocker) once a week. Then when receiving my medication the front desk told me to take it twice per week. It was very confusing and the side effects/harm that can occur from a overkill dosage of an estrogen blocker is severe. It's disgusting that their staff members don't know anything about how to properly medicate patients. While I was on the medication they didn't once contact me to see how I was doing. How I was feeling? Nope. The one time they did contact me? Was for a refill!!!! Meaning they only got in contact with me to fish more $$$ out of me! One staff member that I would like to mention is the PA. She was disgustingly bad. Don't know how she is even allowed to practice medicine. She doesn't listen to your symptoms or even look at your test results. I realized that I knew more about hormonal replacement than she did by just having a back and forth conversation with her. I then kindly disagreed with her and she did not take it well. She told me she would have to "see" and said that I needed to see a separate doctor that they referred me to. She then quickly ended the conversation, ran out of the room and sent in someone else to try and collect payment from me. Disgusting practices. As stated before, she mentioned I "needed" to visit their partnered doctor to talk to him before they would even discuss my lab results with me. I agreed at first but then they said I had to visit a doctors office downstairs (Dr. Robert Rowley, family medicine) and wanted to charge me another $90 for the visit!!! What??? Why would I need to go somewhere else to talk to another doctor if I'm visiting THIS clinic??? You know why? Because he owns this clinic. Dr. Robert Rowley owns Balanced Health Medicine and I know this because his name is on my prescription bottles from them. Check his yelp page... he has bad reviews. Basically they kept sending me back and forth spending money left and right and I just wanted to feel better mentally and physically. They acted like I was a joke and didn't care about me one bit. I've already contacted Chase to try and get my money back, but I think it's a lost cause at this point. I understand that there is a hesitancy when treating someone just shy of their 20s with low testosterone symptoms, but they did it in a manner that was completely unprofessional and unethical. It was clear that they did not care about me, but instead, were taking advantage of me. The clinic I am now with is much better, caring, cheaper and is entirely over the phone. If you're considering this place, please look into telemedicine clinics as they actually know what they're doing and how to treat a patient. STAY AWAY! Super friendly, clean rooms, nice decor, you just feel like you are in a good place! Downside is if you don't like show tunes then you're out of luck! That's playing in every room! Not terrible, but definitely my cup of tea. Although it makes the procedures more up beat. They are quick to answer the phone for questions and are very knowledgable. Sounds like most of their staff is on the products they sell, so there's comfort in the fact that they don't push stuff on you that they don't endorse fully. I met adrain and justin in the building in the hayward location, very kool guys and down to earth. And i asked them what u guys do, since i was doing construction in the bulding. And they told me about them and told me to come see them and they will help me loose weight. It took me 3 months to go back and see them, after i couldn't wake up from bed, i was 314 pounds i was always tired and hated my job and how tired i was. I started the treatment on feb 11 and by march 20th i lost 25 pounds and by june i lost 50 pounds. Man i have tried to loose weight my whole life and i never could. Super wanted to love this place... and to start feeling better! I did get labs done and received them back to me, hence the two stars. However, I now have to take them to another doctor to interpret. Sigh. When I left my initial appointment with blood draw (which started 20 minutes late and went WAY over the 45 minutes I was told to expect, mostly because I was waiting in the room for so long), I was told I could make a phone appointment to go over the results when they were in. Done. Then, when I get my appointment reminder, there's no mention of it being on the phone. I call them. They apologize and say someone will call me to go over the results but that they couldn't say when. Someone does call, but I'm unavailable. They leave a message. When I call back, nobody is available, but I make an appointment for a phone call. This time, my appointment reminder does say "phone appointment" so I'm encouraged. I call at the time they say, but the person I need to speak with is busy and am put on hold. In a few minutes, they return and tell me that as a first time patient, I need to come into the office for me results. What?!? Why make me 2 phone appointments? I give up. Ridiculously bad service. After years of trying different half hearted weight loss places, and trying to get my hormones balanced naturally for less than 2k.. I found this delightful, friendly, professional clinic where everyone really listened to me. I don't eat much!!! My metabolism is screwed up from years of yoyo dieting. They did not even show me a diet, after listening to a typical day's meal - with occasional splurges. Today, January 4, 2019, I received my blood work results and they confirmed what I've been feeling but before I go further. In March 2018, my work performance was at an all-time low. I felt weak, tired and like I was a burden to my coworkers. Tasks that I used to finish on time were a battle. I had to get help from my coworkers to be able to finish and leave on time. I watched as younger guys work like it was nothing. At the end of every shift I was exhausted and even ashamed of how I let my coworkers down. A friend of mine mentioned that he was injection testosterone for a serious medical condition. Out of curiosity I decide to get blood work done to see if my testosterone was okay. After my primary care doctor reviewed my results, he gave me a referral to go see an endocrinologist. I was seen by two and both told me that I was in the "normal range". After Adrian looked over my previous blood work, he concluded that I did have low testosterone and with input from a doctor they devised a plan of attack. Adrian was straight forward with me, went over and above to help me feel better. The medical staff were very friendly and hospitable. After adjusting my dosage, I really started to feel different so if you do become a patient give them time to make some tweaks. Now my work performance is better that it ever was. When I workout I feel stronger, have more energy, and more confident. A bonus side effect is that my libido has increased.
