We were in the area and Googled breweries and found Bald Birds Brewing Company and decided to try it. I had the wheat ale, Sly Sparrow, 5% and my husband had the barrel aged stout (his favorite) which was Jed Over Heels at 15.5%. He really enjoyed it and would order again. My wheat beer was good, just what you'd expect and maybe a tiny bit lighter than other wheats. They offer flights too, of course. It's super nice in here and the bartenders are very friendly. They also offer their own versions of Bourbon, Rum, Vodka and Agave. They offer Penn Woods wines as well for those who wish.

Fun brewery where dogs are allowed inside and outside!

AUDUBON, PA: just a few minutes away from Phoenixville is Bald Birds Brewing, a craft brewery with an indoor and outdoor tasting room that is dog friendly! We always like to order a flight at a new place and we had over 12 beers to choose from! There are also select cocktails available. Your pup will be happy with a treat from their cookie jar. You can bring your own food and have a nice time in their cozy tasting room. We enjoyed the wood paneling and decor and loved the TVs along the wall to watch the game. You can even play video games on arcade systems. A perfect place for the whole family!

Came in for a beer flight on a busy Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking, but also plenty of dogs and kids around this place. Some decent IPAs here, but the show-stopper was the Cozy Dream Porter. Sadly, this place has a food truck that looked closed for some time. I would've loved to get a pretzel to pair with the beer, but this was not an option. They also have pool and arcade games, but these were busy when we walked by.

Much needed addition to the area. Been there since the Opening Day, and fell in love with it immediately. I prefer interesting IPAs but always try different styles, and Bald Birds provides exactly that. They have 12 taps that provide big enough variety to accommodate broad range of interests, rotation is frequent enough to make every trip worthwhile, and their beer is always solid. They also have wine and spirit, and can some nonalcoholic drinks for the kids. The taproom is huge, from picnic tables to high tops to bar seats, it welcomes different sizes of groups and families. The patio is big, so dogs are welcome as well. I miss the events they used to run. Hopefully they will come back after everything is back to normal. They have variety of food trucks come by. I would choose them over their own hotdogs though I understand they had to have some food while it was required but the state, and appreciate the effort they made so that we could still enjoy their beer. The staff is knowledgeable and MOST of them are friendly and attentive. I have to take a star off here, because while I appreciate the brewmasters serve their beer, some of them should not be servers. Last note, there's an ongoing groupon deal that's a steal. Overall, I recommend Bald Birds to all my beer lovers.

A wonderful beer hall! Some of the best drinks in the brewery game! Currently they don't offer food but you can bring your own or order in! Huge venue. Lots of games to play. Bartenders are top notch!

Samplers! The handwriting was a little hard to decipher but a great variety to try!

We headed over to Bald Birds to check it out on a lazy weekend afternoon - it was supposed to start snowing later in the evening, so we figured we would get out while we could. The brewery has a large deck which will be awesome come summer and the inside is pretty spacious. They have a variety of lounge areas and picnic tables. The building is spacious and has a cool vibe. There's also a popcorn machine and water stand so you don't have to hit the bar for a little H2O. They had a variety of their beers on tap and there was something for all tastes. On top of that they had games - both board games and video games, making sure kids of all ages are happy. The staff was very knowledgeable and happy to share information about the brewery, when they started, where they may be headed, etc. We hadn't remembered our growler but were able to take home two crowlers to enjoy later that night. We are excited to pack a dinner/buy from a food truck if there's one there and enjoy this place again!

The atmosphere is cool. The bartenders are friendly and informative. The beer is great. The trivia is BAD. The guy they have running it is a hot mess and spends most of the time judging people for not sharing his music taste. I understand bar trivia is a casual thing, but this guy has no professionalism about it. We won't be back on trivia night.

Chill place with various types of beer that is priced well. Many seats inside or outdoors. Dogs are welcome. They don't serve any food, but you can order in or sometimes there's a food truck on premises.

Our server was very sweet, and got our drink orders in. When she brought the drinks, we put our order in. This is where things started to go wrong. The lemonade seemed like it had no sugar in it, and so our party needed to add our own. After a little while, our food order started to arrive. The steak frites was yummy; well seasoned and with a nice, rich sauce. The fries were lack luster, and could have been a bit fresher. The quesadilla was served in a pool of grease. The mac and cheese was yummy, but the ordered chicken was missing entirely. It took us a while to get the server's attention, but it seemed the chicken had been sitting in the kitchen waiting that entire time as it came back very quickly. The pasta's onions were also not peeled properly, and some of the papery skin was in the dish. It was a cool place with a neat vibe, and we had high hopes. But there were enough things going wrong to really make me to want a repeat trip.

The beer lineup was solid across the board, with styles for just about everyone. What surprised us most was the cocktail menu. They were running seasonal Christmas renditions, including an Old Fashioned that was festive without being gimmicky and genuinely excellent. It is refreshing to find a brewery that takes cocktails seriously. Food came out quickly and was better than expected. Plates, utensils, and water are all self service. If you want to sample some more beers. You must order them through the app as well. This discouraged us from ordering more than we would have had there been an actual waiter/waitress. The lack of personal interaction was disheartening. The food was decent but nothing exceptional as we sampled the wings. Buffalo chicken egg rolls and cheese steak. We would have opted to order some desert "bombs" as well but again, the lack of wait staff had us reluctant to splurge. From what we could see the venue offers lots to do with corn hole, bingo nights, live music and more but we came on a weeknight with nothing going on. I would think if we came on an event night we may have had a different experience. Granting stars for the cleanliness, possible potential for live music, the edibility of the food but for us it's a one and done.

You can spend an entire afternoon or easily an entire day here if planned properly. I didn't have the opportunity to try any of the food provided by the bbq truck that was present, but I can tell you that the three different beers that I did have while I was there were outstanding. There are also some handhelds as well. I was with a group of 35 at another restaurant that did not have vegan options so I called ahead, placed my order and picked it up around 6:30 pm. At that time, there was a good sized crowd inside and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I paid for my vegan pizza, and then without drawing too much attention to myself, walked into the restaurant and went to the second floor that was reserved for us. My pizza was excellent. The Vegan Blanco Vegan Mozzarella, Tofu Ricotta, Sauteed Spinach, EVOO, Garlic I haven't had pizza in about 3 months so i was definitely looking forward to it. I really enjoyed how they did the Tofu Ricotta the Vegan Mozzarella. My only critique is this - When working with vegan cheese - especially shredded, let it sit at room temperature before popping it in the oven. By doing this, you avoid the 'matchstick' look on the pizza. What happens is that the vegan cheese going from cold to hot is too extreme so it doesn't melt, or spread out - it essentially cooks / burns in place. Having worked with vegan cheese companies over the years, there is a misconception that it is bad to leave the vegan cheese outside on the countertop - not really, it's not cheese. I devoured my pizza and appreciated having a vegan option besides fries and a veggie medley.
