Second time in a row we were disappointed at Baldo's. It used to be one of our favorites, but has dropped over the last year. First time was we tried to order subs and were informed they ran out of sub bread. The wife picked a steak that came out cold and was overcooked. We chalked it up to things happen. This time I was successful ordering the Baldo sub, unfortunately they forgot to toast it and it looked like a lettuce salad on the bun with minimal meat. We tried to order an appetizer pizza but were told they had not turned that oven on, so we were out of luck. They forgot my wife's meatballs and it took 21 minutes for them to get, by that time her whole pasta was cold. This was a Friday at 4;30 before the rush. We seen our waitress when we ordered, flagged her down about the meatballs and to bring the check. Water was never topped off and we ran out of butter. The bill was $95 dollars and I left a $20 tip. Our server Ryan was very attentive and friendly, in spite of full house patrons. 2 people at my table ordered pasta dishes. Fettuchino r collet lasagna delicious sauce and large portion. I ordered fish and chips noted on menu as battered. I didn't take picture but it was not battered but rather breaded. I didn't return it as it would have held up others. Very disappointed. Heavy breading ruins a good fish meal. Won't order it from here again. Those who know the difference will identify as soon as you look at it I'm a seafood lover and I always check menu descriptions. Me and four other ladies in my family visited here last night. The chicken noodle soup is the best I ever had! They have these very small soy pasta in the soup which made it so perfect along with the pieces of chicken. I got the steak cheese sub which turned out to be nothing that special. However I did try my siblings pasta out which was baked Lasagna and Gnochi it was pretty good. I probably most likely won't be back unless I am out that way again. The waitress (Karri) we had I think had a bad day, she wasn't that pleasant or had the patience for us. I think she just had a bad day and we were her last table for the night. I still tipped her at 20% because everyone has a bad day from time to time! I know life happens! Thank you for serving us! I am sure we will be back my family (siblings) love this restaurant. It's not my favorite restaurant but that doesn't mean I won't come back. It just simply means if we are in the other perhaps we may visit again! I still prefer other restaurants over this one. It was pretty nice inside but definitely not the best and a must go back to places. Their lemon cake dessert was the right amount of frosting in it. Baldos is one of our dinner groups regular stops. The service has always been at least good, sometimes very good. Nobody has had a bad dinner there. I usually get the lasagna with added sausage. So good. I will say the calamari and the fried mushroom appetizers are not the greatest. Not horrible but mediocre. We will be going back I'm sure. read more

We have lunch on a semi regular basis there and have always had excellent food at a reasonable price. The wait staff has always been attentive and cordial. Excellent pizzas but often order other Italian items from the menu. The food and staff will not disappoint. read more

We had a party of 4. 3 of us ordered pasta, gnocchi, ravioli and eggplant. My husband ordered ribs and broasted chicken. The 3 pasta dishes were tepid when we received them. I think they plated the pasta then had to wait on the broasted chicken. Very disappointed. They should have served us separately or not plated the pasta until the chicken was done. Ordered a Baldo's Special pizza paisano style as a carry out - the exact pizza that we have ordered numerous times In the restaurant. They gave us a thin crust, which we have ordered before and the crust is too thin and lacks flavor, in our opinion. Very disappointing for an establishment we've been to many times. read more

My family has been coming here for forever. Lately this place just absolutely sucks. Their service is a nightmare and they act like you're bothering them when they are doing basic things like taking your order. Then they love to forget your appetizers, give them to other tables and then bring them out when you're almost done with your meal so they can still charge you for them. We've driven here twice in the last month, during regular business hours, and they have just been closed for no reason. We are completely done with baldos. Never again will we waste our time or money on this crap show of a restaurant. read more

Sadly, after having three bad experiences in a row, we will not be going back to Baldo's. Today the broasted chicken was nearly burnt, it was tough and also tasteless. We've ordered this for years for our family functions and everyone always loved it... not anymore. Recently, we were in the restaurant with a group of eight and two of us ordered chicken piccata both were dry. My neighbor went with her family and ordered the chicken piccata and hers was swimming in sauce. We always loved this place but they need to get things back in shape or they'll lose other customers. I'm not sure if there are new owners or new staff but either way it's not the Baldo's that we've loved for years and years. The best thing about our order today was the nice polite young man that delivered it. read more

Our waitress Renee was wonderful. Excellent customer service. Food was brought out promptly, also gave us a pitcher of water which we really appreciated on a 90 degree day. Minestrone soup, honey bourbon salmon, meat lovers pizza and lasagna were delicious. Cannoli was also very tasty. Suggest arriving early (4:00 pm) to avoid long lines on the weekend. read more

One of my favorite restaurants. Stopped in for lunch and asked if the gnocchi was homemade and the our waitress said it was. However the gnocchi served to me were not and tasted store bought. This happened once before which is why I asked, and they said their machine was broke down. The waitress was adamant they were homemade, but they clearly were not. Stopped in for dinner as we were pooling for something different. It had been quite a while since we had been here. I had Chicken Marsala, and my wife had Shrimp Italia. Definitely an odd Chicken Marsala, which was ok. My wife did not like her shrimp dish at all. The bread was cold and I always thought it was warm in the past. What can I say - all of the food is very good! First of all, I have been going here for many years. Carry out and dine is always good. Pizza is good and I really their chicken. I have ordered it to serve at family parties. Tonight, I went there and we were seated in their banquet room. This was fine at first because we liked the quiet atmosphere. However, after about 5 minutes being in the room, staff began moving tables and talking loudly about where to place the tables for reservations. This was going on when our food arrived. Ruined the mood. Food good - dining experience not so much. Also, the boss wanted to charge us an extra dollar for a plastic container. Go when it's not busy and eat all of your food. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch and we were told to sit wherever we liked, it was pretty cleared out at that time. Our waitress brought our drinks and never came back to take our order. People came in after us and received their food with a different waitress and we still hadn't ordered. Our waitress left bills and collected from the two other tables near us (only handful of customers). Finally after waiting over 30 minutes for someone to take our order we gave up and went elsewhere. I love Baldo's! I don't get to go there very often so when I do it sure is a treat. My absolute favorites thing to get there is the gnocchi with the mixture of Alfredo and marinara sauce (I believe they call it their palamino sauce) Their gnocchi is like eating little clouds of deliciousness. They have fantastic spaghetti and pizza and of course the chicken noddle soup is knockout. I will always come back. *Update!* I recently got the gnocchi like I always do but I had it with baked cheese on top, it was AMAZING!! This place is a favorite for the ribs and pasta. The gnocchi is one of my favorite gotos but I recently ventured out of my comfort zone to try the baked spaghetti and it was amazing! A rival to old Chicago's spaghetti pie. I may have to do a side by side comparison. Warning to vegetarians out there though, they told me recently that the marinara has a clam base! Upon visiting the restaurant October 18th 2023 more than $100 was spent two steak dinners of fish lunch fish and chips lunch as well as a chicken piccata the food is terrible salad only came with lettuce wilted lettuce my steak was not medium well it was closer to well the potato was dry I had no garnishments and burnt at the bottom pictures are to follow. I would not recommend nor revisit this restaurant in the future upon calling the restaurant to inform them of the quality of food the receptionist let concern nor consideration. Baldo's Restaurant. We arrived in the chill and damp and waited in their well-lit anteroom.  The atmosphere seemed subdued.  The decorations were tasteful and attractive. What a slow start to one of the finest dining experiences I have had in my life! The servers were grand and led us to our table towards the center of the dining room.  The surroundings are elegant yet homey.  I immediately felt at ease as I enjoyed the art and décor and looked over the menu. They have a wonderful selection of classic Italian meals along with specialties of the house.  The soup and bread (made in house) were a treat begin with. I ordered the seafood pasta and was not disappointed in any way.  We were, in a short time sampling each other's plates and enjoying conversation.
