If you reach the intersection of Angela Vista and Slauson, you'll see a 7-Eleven. This lot is located across the street from the 7-eleven. Simply put, this family-owned business is amazing both for their product AND customer service. They've kept us coming back for the last 4 years. Mom's is lucky to have the high ceilings, where a typical 7-8 footer would look lonely. Lol DeAndre and William did a great job of delivering the tree, (my days of moving those kind of trees died 4 years ago!) and Dana (Dan's daughter) is the maestro on the phone handling deliveries and other communication. When I tell you they consistently obtain trees of superior quality for more affordable prices, it's no exaggeration. I'm a fan of any family owned business, and it just so happens that this one is black owned. If our health holds up for another year, will certainly be back! We came late on a Saturday and a lot of trees were sold, but there was still a good amount of inventory. This was the first week in December, so they're busy. We chatted with the owner's son who said his dad has been in business over 40 years! They're get inventory from Canada and Oregon, among other places. Friendly service and reasonable prices. You can pay cash or card, which is great. We got a Doug fir for $55. The re-usable base was $30. They also sell single use bases for $10. They strapped the tree to the roof of our car, laying down cardboard first as to not scratch it. Enjoyed the experience overall. This will be our go-to place. If you want to shop local instead of a big store, check out Dan's.

Found this Christmas tree lot on yelp and figured I would give it a try. My old Christmas tree lot…read more(that I loved and had been going to for years) ended up taking a break this season. So I was in the market for a new place. When I arrived on the lot, I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. There were options. The trees looked fresh and ready to be taken home to be decorated and enjoyed. The people there were helpful and responsive. The prices were a lot more than expected especially for the area, which probably explains why there were a big selection less than two weeks before Christmas. To give you a gauge on pricing, the Nobel fir trees started at $150. If looking for a 7-8ft Nobel, the price was close to $180. I was completely shocked by the pricing as I was used to getting a 7-8ft Nobel for about $100-$120. I ended up getting a tree because I didn't have the time to find another lot that would have fresh trees so close to christmas. Overall, the tree is beautiful and fresh. We did have to chisel the bottom of the trunk in order for the tree to get water because there was no space between the bottom of the trunk and the stand so that the tree could get water. After it was chiseled, the tree drank a ton of water.

Everyone is always so helpful, patient and cheerful. Exactly the start to the holiday season you'd want. It's a nice family run business and they've expanded their services and retail selection, making it a fun outing and a one-stop shop for all your holiday needs. Our trees from them are always top quality and last from the day after Thanksgiving through New Years, so we get our full value for the price. Delivery was prompt and they were super helpful - putting the tree bag on before bringing it in to make removal easier and cleaner later, and even trimming the top to get it in the house We can't recommend them enough. I told him exactly what I wanted and he made it happen easily. Steve and his staff provide full service. They will tie the tree to your car for you or deliver it for a very reasonable fee. They have a large selection for most things. They no longer carry corner tiles. Value: Its a hit or miss. Let me explain. While the value is good because you are able to find most of the items needed for any project, yet no value out in the parking lot. In the parking lot, it seemed like there are more people outside the store than there was inside the store. 1) there are people looking for work, 2) there are people asking for money (seems like they are also a lookout to see anything of value in the vehicles, 3) a few out looking what to steal, and 4) ladies selling sandwiches. As I was walking towards the store with my father, I felt something off and decided to go back to the car. I'm glad that I did. There was a person asking for money as well as looking into other peoples vehicles. So when going to this location, make sure you go with someone else that could stay in the vehicle while you shop.
