The fries they have are the big fat fries. I usually prefer these type of fries over thin fries like McDonald's or In-N-Out. Overall, pretty good burgers and fries. The only critique I have is that my burger was cold. I feel like the meat should have been cooked longer to make it fully warm. Other than that, I didn't have a problem with anything else. I'm a regular to this place since I moved to Baldwin Park and the food is generally pretty good. But today, i was disgusted by the attitude of a younger female cashier. My wife and I called in our dinner order around 8:30pm and was told that they are too busy to take phone orders. Odd but okay. We decided to go to El Pollo Loco across the street but we decided to drive by to see if they were really that busy. It was empty! So we decided to go anyway to see what the deal is. They had one customer waiting for their order. While waiting for our order, we also saw another family turned away around 9:15pm and 9:20pm. My guess is that they didn't want to take more orders as they approach their closing time of 9:30pm (still shows 10:00pm online). This behavior isn't right. I understand minutes before closing but this was well over an hour before closing that they started turning away customers. Definitely laziness at its best. read more

I ate about 2 and all was good until I bit into the third one and I bit into something hard. I spit it out into my napkin and it was an animal claw. It was embedded into the onion ring. The chili cheese fries were fire it's hard to find good chili cheese fries but here was a hit as well as the pastrami burger but next time I know to get Light Pastrami it was too much unless you were going to get a double patty burger with pastrami then your good but for a single I needed less they got seating outdoor kinda like the old school burger stands which is cool and indoor as well and behind them is a huge park so after you can go walk off your food while you let your kids run around and use up all that energy they have !
