My go to breakfast is the two eggs and pancake combo with an orange juice. Pancakes are huge and freshly made - can't get any better than that! For lunch, my guilty pleasure is a back cheeseburger and a "small" chili cheese fry. I say "small" because you can easily share this with another person. Been going here about a year. Solid neighborhood burger/diner place. They're always quick and it's not too loud. Lots of items to choose from. This visit I decided to try the polish sausage sandwich. My siblings and our family friend are trying all the breakfast burritos in this towne. This place could be better for breakfast, but lunch is definitely a recommendation. The breakfast burritos are huge though, but still lacking in quality. They overfilled the Egg & Hashbrown, the Combo and Breakfast Pastrami and Sausage burritos with hashbrown. The hashbrown lacked salt and potatoes weren't cooked all the way through either. The green sauce though was wow, that was some really good green salsa! That helped to give the burritos some flavor aside the cheese and little egg. The french toast had some areas where the slices weren't dipped enough to soak the egg batter and were a bit dry. We had high hopes for this place for breakfast. For lunch though they come through with their menu for sure: crispy fish sandwich when asked, full-size meaty burgers, fish & chips platter, perfectly crisped fried fries that have the perfect saltiness, and even their horchata is well-balanced (not too much cinnamon or to watery or even grainy)! They overfilled service is very friendly, quick, and hospitable. Came across this place as I was working locally. I love that they open at 630AM. I have tried a few things here but have mixed feelings about this place. I love their grilled cheese sandwich. Although their breakfast sandwich was good (bacon, egg, cheese) with lettuce and tomato, the bread was toasted but still soft, but as a soggy soft. The lettuce had a flavor of citric acid, maybe they added too much or something. I also tried a cheese burger, which I was not a fan of, again lettuce had weird taste, the meat had a weird taste too almost like lighter fluid but since they use flame, maybe it was more natural gas flavor. I have been coming to this place for years. I have never had an issue with them. Except for today when I ordered chili cheese fries, got to work and if there was absolutely no cheese. I called in to let them know and told them I could send them a picture. However their response was that I had to drive all the way back with the food so that they can see there was no cheese. I am highly disappointed because I was already at work and was willing to send them a photo. It was a waste of my time. I manage a restaurant for 7 years prior to being a manager at my current job that is not in the food district. Never would I have forced to customer to come all the way back to show me. I have been coming to this burger spot since it opened, so around 25 years now. The food quality has been consistently good. Recently I have gone for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised how clean and nice it is maintained inside. The waitresses are attentive. The only bad thing are the small egg portions on the breakfast combos if you order them scrambled. If you have any type of allergy, you are not welcome here! Came for a family breakfast and asked the cooks if there was any way they could make my daughters food on a separate pan cause she has a gluten allergy. I totally understand if they can't do it, and am always understanding when restaurants apologize and say they can't. However rather than being nice about it, the cashiers very rudely talked amongst each other and laughed while saying they don't do that here. They turned my negative experience into a positive one. I ordered chicken taquitos, fries and a small Pepsi at the drive up. I got home and the taquitos were still a little frozen in the middle and the tortilla was not crunchy. I called to ask for a replacement and showed up with the bad taquitos and my receipt. I go to the chiropractor across this place couple times a week and always wanted to stop by here. Never got a chance until today. I rarely gave a business 1 star rating especially for local pop and mom, as Im a big supporter of local businesses. My review will be solely based on customer service that I received. When I arrived they had two people in front of me to order, and I needed to use the restroom (the restroom needs code). So I asked one of the waitress for access to the bathroom and she replied "its in the bottom of your receipt" and I inquired to use the bathroom before I order and for sure I will order something later on. Then she pointed at another lady in the register that she replied "I will help you after Im done with this customer" and sure enough, after that customer, she took order for the next customer, and I asked again, if I could use the restroom now. Then she said no. So it was my turn and I ordered something, and she said the code in the bottom of the receipt. I complained to her thou' in my whole life, I never been not granted to use the restroom, even before I ordered, and if to her I looked like a bum. And she replied "no every place have different policy." I just think its a bit of un humane to be "strict" with your "restroom for customer only" policy with no exception. And their motto is "we make our customer happy" And they have kids menu. How if I ran here coz my kids needs to potty before getting their burger? Oh no, they would let my kids soiled themselves unless you order first. I didn't even bother to take pic of the menu or the inside. Ok.. I never thought I'd leave a 1 star for this place. This was my families favorite spot. We decided to order dinner cause we didn't feel cooking today! As you pull up to order thru the drive thru theirs a sign that says "please be patient, we cook our food to order" I was like "Sweet, fresh food!" Ya, No! Our zucchini fries were falling apart and were covered in oil, the oil was literally dripping off and leaving a little puddle on the plate. The French fries were cold and not fully cooked. I also ordered the pastrami burger... it was ok, but wasn't the best! We threw all of the zucchini fries and chili cheese fries in the trash cause I didn't feel like getting sick.
