Don't come in a hurry. It took a while, but the proprietor was extremely charming and the food well worth the wait. Recommend.

I swear every time I come in here, I lose all sense of direction and walk out with a bag full of things I absolutely had to have. Today's damage included rainbow and white peppercorns, harissa, za'atar, the holy grail saffron, oh, and some nice-smelling soaps! This place is magical. It smells INCREDIBLE, the selection is amazing, and it's basically impossible to leave empty-handed. If you like spices, herbs, teas, or anything that makes you feel like a cozy lil kitchen witch, this place is heaven! Love it here!

It is a beautiful treasure trove of herbs, spices, teas, dried flowers, soaps, salves, lotions, and all kinds of supplies for making your own bath and beauty products. I have been hoping for a place like this ever since Zenith Supplies in Roosevelt closed and now my wish has come true. Will be telling all my natural products and organic-ingredient-loving friends and will be shopping here a lot more for supplies and gifts in the future.

There isn't really a system for ordering or receiving your food/drinks. It's kinda like when you go to a family's house and they're busy making sure all the food and drinks have enough love, so you gotta wait for them to do their thang and just quietly enjoy the process. The owner is suuuper kind and greets you as you enter and you can tell he really cares about his customers. He will let you know if he's busy and around how long to wait. I just gotta hand it to the owner, it sounds like he has a lot of regulars who come in for dosa, lentils, and chai. It smelled good every time he made some dosa! Masala chai: got mine with oat milk (he has to brew a new batch if you want a different milk), he usually uses half and half I believe for his chai. Love the spices! I like my chai pretty spicy and this is really good. He sells packs of loose chai so you can brew at home also Note: their masala chai is made with black tea and their pink chai is made with green tea and has pistachio Will come back to try the food and pink chai when it's not so poppin!

The public can be the judge of that UPDATE: I got a very rude response on my FB review AND I was blocked from the page. "Regina" apparently believes I was unkind and that justifies the way I was treated. Maybe she should take a course in compassion and learn to bit her tongue before she says rude things like: "sucks you were inconvenienced" and called me "callous and cold". Mind you at no point in our conversation did she say they're handling personal emergency, just that things were taking a pause behind the scenes. Clearly she believes she is right for standing me up despite my attempts to come in DURING THE HOURS SHE PROVIDED.. Stupid is as stupid does I guess Original review: Went to the store during business hours and it was closed. Confused I sent a kind message via Instagram so clarify when they will be open next. We chatted back and forth and they told me on Wed July 30th they'd have limited hours from 2-6p. I told them what time I'd be coming AND I called which it went straight to voicemail. So I came and they stood me up! When I reached out clearly upset, they responded rudely and were condescending. Zero accountability. Zero apology. Zero compassion for wasting my time. Apparently the owner is dealing with personal things and I send my condolences to them. Yet whomever I spoke to seemed as if that means they can treat me however they want? I just got OUT of the hospital LAST WEEK and was hoping to utilize herbal medicine to help with what I've been going through but they decided to be rude. Clearly they don't care about following their own adjusted hours. Don't go here unless you want to be stood up and spoken to like garbage. Also I take accountability for my frustrations. However I give what I am given and if you are going to waste my time and stand me up after we agreed on a set time, then shame on you and again DO BETTER.
