The server was the sweetest person ever! 5 stars for service. It's a little window with some bright patio chairs, so it's more of a nice weather spot. They have pup cups (little shaved ice for dogs!) and my corgi was THRILLED. The dirty white chai mocha was good according to my partner. I tried the huckleberry matcha and it was REALLY sweet - like probably 2-3x sweeter than I expect it should have been. I took it home and diluted it with more milk and it was ok but I wonder if maybe the syrup they use is a bit too strong. Would come back for the shaved ice in summer!

Both sandwiches were excellent. Horseradish on the Moolin Rouge was perfect! Owner was super friendly! Would definitely go back.

This was our first stop in town after driving from Portland, they had super friendly service, offered us a shave ice for our dog right when we got there, and our food and drinks were out quickly! Definitely worth a stop for a quick bite!

Nice little spot opened near corner of Cherry and 23rd. Owner is super friendly and love the concept. They just opened so it's a little slow as they figure stuff out, but I'm sure it'll get better.

Cute little walk up. Good spot to grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich/pastry on your way to work or on your morning walk.

I waited 2 hours for this and I'd easily do it again…read more Food: (5/5) This was actually my second time ever having Mike's and I can't seem to get enough. They have the BEST shave ice around. My first time around, I got the lilikoi pog with li hing mui and vanilla ice cream. AMAZING. It was sweet but not too sweet, a little tangy, good portion for 1-2 people, and balanced by the mochi and fresh strawberries. I loved it so much I got it again my second time around just without the vanilla ice cream. If you're getting Mike's for the first time, 100% get this and li hing mui is a must. My cousin got the calamansi mango sago which was also pretty good but not our favorite. The calamansi came thru much stronger than the mango which I liked but know isn't for everyone. The sago and coconut flakes gave it a pleasant earthiness/nuttiness. I probably wouldn't get it again, but I'm still glad we tried it. Service: (5/5) Everything here is made to order so just know that there will be a wait. Even after a supperrrr long line, the team was still really friendly and accommodating. Literally nothing but praise and love for this business.

When I was walking around the Saturday market in South Lake Union, I was looking for a quick and…read moreeasy dessert. I thought I was going to get like a small cup of ice cream or a churro or something. That's when I noticed this pretty large line outside this popup called Mike's Shaved Ice - which I thought was odd because none of the other dessert places nearby had any line at all. Was this place really that good that people were willing to wait 20-30 minutes when they could get something else for another place for free? Turns out, yes, it is This might take the cake as the best dessert I've had in Seattle My goodness, this was good I think I've had shaved ice before at some point, and I recently had a snow cone, which is somewhat similar, but nothing could have prepared me for how incredibly good this tasted. I got 3 flavors - pineapple, blue vanilla, and orange dream, and each bite had so much sweet, juicy, just-absolutely-perfect flavor that it was bursting in my mouth. When I took my first bite, I was in awe at how amazing that was. The ice was shaved so thin you couldn't even really feel the individual crystals at all. After taking a bite, it lasts a few second and melts away into your tongue, leaving nothing but that amazing syrup poured on top of the ice. It was truly a magical experience Picture this - you're scooping away, encountering zero resistance at all, and each bite can be one of 3 diverse but incredible flavors. Also, this thing is pretty damn big as well I've gotten this far without even talking about the vanilla ice cream inside. It seemed to normally be a topping, but I got mine inside because reasons? I'm not complaining at all though, because after you get to the ice cream, a lot of the shaved ice is melted, so you're kind of just eating the ice cream with the flavored syrup, which is also a fantastic experience. If I ever get the chance, I would like to try it with the ice cream on top, however This is slightly expensive for ice cream, but well within reason when you see how much you get.

They were both extremely fluffy and flavorful. The savory one had a nice chipotle sauce in addition to hollandaise. The strawberry one was not too sweet and moist. We came on a weekend as soon as it opened, but there was already a line. I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the food - one of the few places to get soufflé pancakes in Seattle!

Soft and ripe and delicious. The cheesecake bites were not as flavorful as I would have liked, along with the vanilla ice cream, but I have a crazy sweet tooth so I recommend this one for those who like milder desserts that are not too sweet. The mixed berry bingsu was my fave! The berries were fresh but the best part was the ice cream! Super flavorful and I loved the fruit syrup too. For both, the bingsu itself is very light in flavor and texture. It melts in your mouth and pairs well with the toppings, especially that sweetened condensed milk. I hope to come back to try other items soon!!

If you're craving some bingsoo, make the trek to Bellevue if possible. This store is shared with Xi'an Noodles with a shared restroom and wifi available. Located in the Belgate plaza, there is plenty of parking. Mixed Berry Bingsoo - my favorite bingsoo because the berries are packed with flavor, sweet, and enhance the dessert. With a mix of sweetness, tartness, and acidity, the bingsoo has balance and the contrast actually helps each flavor shine. The berry juices even add flavor to the bingsoo below (and there are berries at the bottom). The only mediocre aspect is the whipped cream on top which is just whatever. Taro Bingsoo - the menu has alternated between ube ice cream and taro ice cream but I think it's always been taro ice cream because it's not overly sweet. Red bean is also sweet but after devouring the toppings (including the ice cream), the bingsoo itself doesn't offer much. It's sweet shaved milk with condensed milk but the taro flavor isn't as potent.
