I love this place. It's fantastic. Both Caroline and Heather are amazing women who do a fantastic job. I have visited Bali Spa for facials, waxing, and even eyelash tinting! I love that they use Dr. Haushka products, and the holistic approach to skin care. I started going to see Caroline three years ago, and my skin is gorgeous because of the work she does and the products they use. The space is very intimate, with a gorgeous tub. The location is closer to Belmont than Hawthorne in SE, but is super easy to get to, especially if you bus, like I do. I think the prices appropriate, and when you go, you are are the only person they're working on, so you definitely feel pampered. Oh, and I love that the table is always warm. :) The ladies are a hoot. Always sweet and in a good mood. I never feel awkward or weird. And they're okay if I just relax and am quiet or if I'm chatty. I absolutely recommend Bali Spa, and often bring my mom when she's visiting.

That is a huge complement considering they out ranked the bougie one right outside of London. Super relaxed environment, exceptionally knowledgeable and caring staff, and absolutely most up to date treatments. 5 stars. No notes.

Let me first start by saying the "spa" here should have its own yelp because a lot of these reviews…read moreare for the medical procedures which are misleading to really how terrible this place is claiming to be a top spa. Now, maybe I am just used to the TRUE luxury spas like in Scottsdale, AZ or Southern California but if people here think this is a luxury spa you have not really been to one. First, upon arrival it is clear they want to push their med spa and procedures there was nothing but advertisements, creams, and marking for that in your face everywhere you turned. After checking in, the woman said she would give me a tour, she led me to a glass door that was supposed to be an outdoor patio and said I could use it if I wanted some sun, I looked out to see a broken fountain, a mess of chairs thrown about, and nothing relaxing or enticing that made me want to go out there. Next, she led me down the stairs to the soaking pool, cold dip, etc. I booked this place for one reason. I am recovering from an injury and wanted to soak in a hot tub, sauna, etc. While it was visually pleasing in that particular part, but then she said "and today since it is so hot out, we have the soaking pool at am ambient temperature." Like what do you mean ambient? I was thinking to myself that thing better be a VERY warm ambient. When walking out she pointed to some neglected pedicure chairs in the corner and said these are nice to sit in and get a massage and are heated. I thought that was strange because the chairs were stained and had clearly not been used in a while and you had to climb up a huge stone step like you would if you were getting a spa pedi just to use them. It was like they were trying to pass them off as something nice but really should be taken out! Next, we went into the locker rooms, now when I go to the spa, I bring a swimsuit, and a fresh change of clothes and my makeup to freshen up after. The lockers were the size of piggy banks, and I had to cram my stuff in so tight, it would barely lock and upon opening everything fell out. There are no hooks ANYWHERE, I had to put my robe on the dirty ground after getting into my swimsuit because there was no where to hang it, or a towel once you were getting dressed and undressed. Anyway, she said she would turn on the jets to the soaking pool and bring me some paperwork to sign. She never did either. I put my suit on with my now dirty gross robe, and sandals that were enormous. I couldn't wait to get in the pool and I step in and it is absolutely freezing. Like ice cold bath water. This is what she meant by ambient. Like on your website you say it is 103 degrees, this was maybe 85 degrees. I was so upset. The entire reason I came and I am now teeth chattering cold. I get out of the pool and go into the sauna to warm up. It is also turned down so low that I crank up the temp to 105 degrees and it took forever to heat up. Now I am soaked and damp, and even more uncomfortable than when I arrived. I went back to the locker room, took off my wet suit and changed into dry undergarments for my massage and thought I would try to warm up in the heated massage pedi chairs she pointed out. I sit down and push the massage and literally thought my brain was going to get shook out of my head. It just vibrates at a scale that is NOT comfortable. I just shut it off and honestly almost left at that point. Fifteen minutes after my massage was supposed to start, this massage therapist huffs around the corner and says my name. She literally has a mullet, the biggest N95 White mask on I have ever seen and NO SHOES! Like what in the actual F! One thing is for sure, if you are wanting a "stay weird" Portland spa, y'all have found it! We go into this weird doctors treatment room, nothing calming, relaxing or spa vibes at all. It's very bright in there, and I tell her I want light pressure, and I had to tell her three times to lighten it up. I HATE massage therapists that use their elbows, and whole arms, and sh** like they are digging into you. I just want something relaxing not where I am grunting for you to stop! I had also asked for the hot oil head massage. After my 60 minutes, she didn't say anything about it, didn't offer it, and honestly I was at this point thinking I am at the threshold of hell. I just wanted to get out of there. I went back to the locker room, and because they offer no bags for your wet clothes like most spas, my suit had soaked my entire bag and I left in wet soppy clothes. The one nice thing is the girl working the front desk noticed how displeased and offered to take off the $25 for the spa facilities but honestly this place is an epic joke, trying to pass off as luxury. Do not waste your time, or energy here.

I booked an appointment with Kalli on 6/25/26 for 7/21/26…read more The morning of the appointment I got a call saying she was unavailable and could not reschedule me until 7/30. I was unable to do that day, and they told me they had another stylist with same "master stylist" level skill. I told them I am scared due to history of bad stylists so much so that I have not had my hair professionally done since early 2023. I told Philip I wanted a light brown hair color with some highlights and a cut. My hair is down to my waist, as we all know it does not grow there without a lot of love and care. When I walked in my hair was a mediumish reddish brown with the middle chunk pretty dark. I tried to 'trust the process' and not be a control freak during the application of the dye and tried to just read my kindle. I was hopeful that Philip has listened and my hair would be beautiful. When we went to the rinse bowl was when I started to get really worried bc no toner was used on my hair. I have a reddish tint that I did not want, and I had mentioned it also. Also, how can you highlight someone's dark hair without bleaching and then toning? The answer became apparent when the blow dryer did its work. He just touched up my roots to a dark brown. When I asked about where are the highlights he stated, "I put a light brown on them so it would be more natural looking". I saw all the red that was untouched and was not impressed nor happy at all. I still tipped him because he did the work however I am waiting for a call back from someone named Tracy. I paid $382 to have my roots done and a haircut that was actually uneven. I had my 16yr old son fix the crookedness when I got home. ON top of all of that. The chair I went to sit in was filthy as well as the floor was not even swept where I sat nor next to me, I did not even want to put my purse anywhere. The salon was sooo hot and I was sitting in my sweat the whole time. I mentioned how hot it was to Philip twice as well as told him the water he was using was hot on my scalp as well. I guess it didn't matter because no change. So, for anyone who wants a nice salon, don't bother with Dosha Salon. If they are going to charge high end salon prices they should offer at least a clean chair, water with ice, air conditioning and a master stylist who listens to what you ask for.. or at least who knows how to tone hair.

They were friendly but not in that fake way that you see in a lot of the surface industry. I was offered a choice between tea and water and was given my paperwork to fill out. My facial with Terril was very relaxing. We went into the treatment room and discuss what my concerns were with my skin and what I was hoping to get out of my appointment. Terril was very attentive, asking questions along the way. One thing I really liked was that the table was heated because I've been having some issues with my back that make it uncomfortable to lay down so having that heated surface under my back made my appointment even more relaxing. My skin felt amazing when she was done, even though she had to do a few extractions. I was so pleased that I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a few months out so that my skin will be able to recover from the upcoming summer months. I highly recommend checking out this wonderful little spa and I look forward to returning for my next facial.

I went in for a consultation where I got to share all my aesthetic insecurities. Despite the vulnerability, I felt empowered to make the right decision for me. Further, my decision was treated with respect which made me feel more confident about moving forward. I ended up getting masseter Botox for my TMJ. My injector made me feel comfortable and even provided me with anxiety relief tools. She was precise, patient, and provided wonderful patient care. Unfortunately, my injector is no longer at this business but I'd be willing to see others who are also qualified and experienced. I also appreciate the complementary 2 week follow up because it alleviates any concerns about possible complications.

I have only had Dysport, nothing else and recently went to an equally if not a better location for similar injectables at the Vancouver waterfront and it was a fraction of the price. You can also find Groupons (then cross check their Yelp reviews) for a fraction of that. I usually prefer to do lasers etc when I travel because it is MUCH LESS than of the price for the same treatments in the states, but I usually get Botox at home. Overall the vibes are weird, cons of treatments (other than dangerous) aren't really shared, or alternative options for the look you want are not shared (if not sold here) similar to other reviews. I originally tried Dysport in my massetur muscles in my jaw for tension. It helped of course but I did notice slight jowling after which I found out was correlated/caused from Botox in the jaw from tiktok vids. Needless to say, it isn't addressing the underlying problem and is just a bandaid. My last appointment here, I shared I wanted to look a little lifted and refreshed mostly under my eyes. I had done lasers and microneedling in the past which helped, but was short lived. Now -- more thanks to tiktok -- I probably need to fork over for sculptra or sofwave. This will NOT be fixed by injectables. My nurse told me she could do a little cheek filer and some other filler around my face. Mind you, I'm terrified of filler. Potentially I would want a facelift down the line which I have heard can complicate that process, but mostly I don't like the bloated look, it is often so obvious and then you become blind to it, keep getting it, and look crazy. Especially in the cheeks. I already have full lips so I don't need that. It was sold as if it would even out my face and give more balance, and I thought about it, did trust the nurse, who had great texture but who's own filler was still a tad overdone, making me a little wary. It's not like Botox where it wears off over months. You're getting it "dissolved" or whatever with little lumps lying around forever, so I wanted to take the time to think about it and ended up canceling. I could see others being very pressured and trying at the appointment even though I'm sure this is as overpriced as Botox and it gives you the vibes they're trying to hit a metric. They should give you options--even if they don't offer the treatment--for the result you are looking for.
