I researched where to go to get my batteries replaced here in Bay Ridge and found nice reviews for Global. I brought two watches to start with to ensure good battery replacement. I met with Elad who quickly repaired the batteries at reasonable cost. Additionally, I returned to sell some gold pieces that didn't fit and some I just don't wear and again was given great prices for selling. Global also sells jewelry such as some Tiffany pieces and other lovely gems. It's nice to know that there is a trusted local jeweler who can assist me with repairs, selling, etc. Elad is very professional and trustworthy. I highly recommend Global Gold and Silver.

I decided to bring it to Montague to have it resized and cleaned up and I cannot recommend them enough. This is such a precious piece and they made it look brand new and I can't even figure out how they resized it- there's no trace at all. It's absolutely perfect. Ronnie is so helpful and so trustworthy that since then I've been back to have my grandmother's earrings converted from clip on's to post and he's going to tighten up the loose stone in my engagment ring too. I'm so grateful to have this family owned spot in my neighborhood so I don't have to treck to the city. (i purchased these at their booth in Bryant Park) She even stated that they bring all the good blind boxes to the booth and how it's best to purchase them now rather than later. Even paid for Saturday early delivery. I thought all good now and I should lean back, relax and just wait for the delivery date. Two weeks or so later, several days before the scheduled delivery date I've decided to call to check if all good and on time, but to my unfortunate surprise they informed me that I never confirmed my WORK email with their order protection team and that because of that they delayed not only the delivery date but the production date as well. That email was in my spam folder, but they had my phone number and could contact me anytime if they wanted to confirm something, in addition: why do they want my work email anyway??? Fast forward to today, after countless phone calls and dozens of new "representatives" and repeating my issue nobody seems to know when I'm getting the ring, nor they have a way to direct contact to production team, this Brooklyn show room or any manager that can solve issues like this. The best thing they can do is to tell you they will submit a request and that I can call them back in 24 hours to see if they have any answer on that request. I rarely write review, but I hope that this will save someone's time dealing with this nonsense!
