A good location on The outskirts of downtown Ballard so here is usually plenty of street parking. The pizzas smelt good and they have a vegan option! I thought the IPA was decent, and they also do samples. There is a water station with reusable cups which is always something we look for. They also do events like trivia. It was empty at lunchtime on a weekday, but I'm sure it's more crowded on weekends. They have some lovely plants and plenty of seating, including out on the patio. Prices were a tiny bit higher than I am used to.

Wasn't too busy when we stopped in! Ballard Beer Box is off the main strip so there isn't a ton of foot traffic. It's a bit dark inside so you might think it's closed when it's not. Huge selection of drinks, spacious interior and options for outdoor seating out front and in the back. The food was good - great space for drinks, meet up's, and pizza!

Dog friendly and great service. Honestly some of the best fresh pizza. Try their specials. They also sell by the slice and have a big beer and cider selection

Great pizza and beer! Their princess Bianca is our all time favorite. We ended up staying for bingo and Meredith was an incredible host! Can't wait to come back!

Sweet tap and bottle for sale place! My folks and I were up visiting Seattle and while this wasn't on our stop list, stumbled upon it after visiting the Nordic Museum down the street. Super nice lady behind the counter when we came in. Prices were Seattle-good. And their selection is extensive, saw some bottles we didn't know about and their house Rose was crisp and not too sweet. Casual and fun place, clean and the outdoor area has tables, games and such. If I lived here, would be a great go-to spot. I wish there was a 4.5, as the only challenge, was the food. Don't get me wrong their house-made pizza is great, but, for the not so hungry folks, some slice options or just more snacks (chips, packaged stuff or nuts), only had one bag of chips for sale, would be appreciated. Only whole pies here. But again, awesome! And I see that they have limited space and are trying to do only hot fresh, so this is just a me thing. Will be back up in July and will visit again! Thanks

Great vibe and such a great beer selection

Super friendly service, great relaxed vibe. Pizza is amazing: don't be fooled by the small oven, it is really special (I had the Desi and the margarita and both were delicious and fresh). And course the beer on tap (rotating) is great (also a fantastic selection of bottled beer). Hands down my favorite place for food and drink in Ballard

I live near by and have been waiting for the space to open. One my neighbors and I swung in for a glass of wine just to check things out a few weeks ago. Yesterday a group of five of us visited. We had two pizzas and a bruschetta , a bottle of wine, one Phoney Negroni and I had a beer from the cooler. Just something to know cause I didn't see a sign and didn't know till I was paying that there was a corkage fee. I'd say unless you really want try something in a can or bottle from the large selection of chilled items, go with something on tap if you don't want to pay the fee. The pizzas were good we had the margarita with arugula and the pear apple gorgonzola bruschetta. We really enjoyed the bruschetta it's on pizza dough and more oval shaped than the pizza. It's definitely nice to have something so close.

Super refreshing and not too much lemon flavor. #2 Death Rides A Horse, 5.0% An Italian Style Pilsner- From my notes, an excellent Pilsner. This is a little out of the way for me since Intake the bus so it was nice to visit with friends that drive. It's past and up a little from Fishermen's Terminal. I'm not a beer connoisseur but I know what I like and my friends was great at making suggestions. Believe I went with Television People. Also they had some and of Hildegard's Verditas Jun. Love Hildegard's stuff and with their recent closure of the beer side it was so nice to find these I hadn't had this and my friend got each of us a can. It was so refreshing and I enjoy low abv this was a 1.5. Loved the vibe and can see why my friends enjoy visiting here. Will be back.

I think there must have been a party or something downstairs when we visited. As to the beer - Not exactly my cup of tea. I like sours, but these leaned towards the acidic notes of saisons quite a bit. Once a beer reaches a certain level of 'bitey' it's not really for me. They had a lot of offerings, and I got a flight. (I recently had some aged beer at Holy Mountain that had a similar issue for me.) Smoke Show Sour - I really like smoky things (Meats, cheeses, Lhapsong Souchong tea, etc.) but this went really hard into the smoke flavor. Not sure how that flavor was generated, but it tasted a lot like liquid smoke to me. It wasn't unpleasant per se, but it was not for me. I had a stout that was close to tasting like barleywine. I like a 10% stout generally, but anything heavier isn't for me. It ends up being a bit too much for me. I've had similar stouts at Matchless that I didn't end up liking in a similar fashion. Where does the bar of 'too strong flavor-wise' fall? Unsure, but it happens occasionally. I bought a bottle of a pluot sour that I haven't tried yet, but I have high hopes for it. I'll likely pop back in sometime to try different styles when they release them.

We went later in the evening so it wasn't as lively but I'm sure it would have a really fun vibe filled with people. The servers were nice but maybe not the most attentive. We got the popcorn cod as a starter which was so fun and inventive. Think crispy fried chicken bites but with fish. So yummy! For our mains, we shared a grilled skewer of pork belly with applesauce, a skewer of grilled shrimp, and a life changing grilled cheese made with goat cheese and lingonberry jam! The flavors complimented each other so well and it was just melt in your mouth perfection! I want another just writing this. We also got a flight of their meads which was lovely! The next time we come up to Seattle, we definitely want to coincide with one of their events! We just missed the cheese and pickle pairing class which would've been fun.
