Ballwin Sno Cone is a hidden gem, I was in the area and heard about a sno cone place that serves alcoholic ice cream and sno cone treats, and was in the mood for one. I ordered a pina colada snow cone that was really delicious to my taste buds, the service from the cashier was nice and friendly upon walking up to the window he greeted me promptly and waited patiently while I looked over the menu. This place has an outside seating area that you can sit and enjoy your dessert, it also is a movie screen there so I'm thinking they have movie nights as well, there's also a shed that was made into a game room for entertainment, i would love to go back and try other flavors of the sno-cones that they offer. read more

We stopped in on a hot day after a hike in Castlewood state park. It was a wonderful treat! We ordered a bacon burger and a mushroom burger, as well as their boozy rootbeer float and Piña Colada snow cone -- and we got a snow cone for our dogs, too. The kids love this place! Especially at night when there's music and we can just relax by the fire pit and listen to music and have a treat. The funnel cake for the size was a little bit out of price. I would pay maybe five dollars for it and not what we did. The kids were a little disappointed. Or if we could have it without any toppings and just the pallet sugar. The snowcones are good. The flavor is also pretty tasty. We usually get the small just to make it extra affordable. I stopped by and got the grilled chicken sandwich. I was the only customer there at the time. The cashier was friendly. I waited 20 minutes. I realize it's a Sno Cone place but the grilled chicken was hard as a brick. I had a difficult time chewing and swallowing because it was so dry. I would not recommend it. In fact, maybe they should consider taking it off the menu. Someone could seriously choke on it. possible a safety issue. Not worth the price. The french fries were hot but soggy with zero salt or taste. The set up is cute. The atmosphere is family friendly and clean. The game room is a rip off. Don't let the amazing atmosphere fool you, the snow cones/floats are not good. Got a sugar free cone and it was sour, got it replaced for another flavor and that also was sour. Friend had a root beer float and I'm not sure how that can be messed up but it did not taste good. I did get a refund after requesting one but also made to look a little stupid as they test tasted the sugar free syrups in front of me only to find out they indeed were sour. ‍ read more

What a gem! We had a great lunch here with the family, including kids. Solid burgers, delicious portobello sandwich, kids' meals of burgers and chicken strips...not to mention sno cones all around, some with booze (we tried the orange vodka creamsicle and the gin and grapefruit), some without. Love the fully outdoor seating; really helps with the sno cone mess! If we lived in town, we'd visit again. Since we don't, we'll hope something comparable comes to Denver. read more

These folks have been working for a while to get this place ready to open. They have outside tables. My wife recently got a sno-cone there, and they come in a cool cup that changes temperature as the level on the drink goes down. But - the "Sno-cones" are hard to eat since they consist at least in part of large chunks of ice. The biggest was probably the size of a golf ball. I was really excited to try this place, we have never been here. They sell alcohol in the sno cones. We ordered 2 make your own sno cones, a funnel cake, nachos and a cotton candy with rum boozy sno cone. The little train station to make your own sno cone is really cute for the kiddos but it says no refills on the syrup but most kids might not put enough syrup like my young child and have no flavor on their sno cone. The funnel cake wasn't anything special. I was really disappointed in the nachos. A handful of chips, a small cup of cheese and a few jalapeños for our nachos. No meat on the nachos either. It was way to small of a portion of nachos for the price. They call out a boozy cone with rum and cream soda (not mine) but he said yea it's cotton candy so I took it. I sipped on it several times still not tasting the cotton candy so I took it back up there and said can I have more syrup because I don't taste the cotton candy he looked at it funny the cup was red but cotton candy at their place is blue so yes they gave me the wrong alcohol sno cone but they remade it. I love the concept of this place, and the setting is super cute, but the sno-cones are made from crushed ice--not shaved ice--and the flavor I had (orange creamsicle) tasted artificial with a sickly sweet chemical taste. We also tried the food, and we were really disappointed. My son loves chicken wings and can handle most spicy foods, but their wing sauce was so spicy he couldn't eat them. My burger was way overcooked and cold by the time I got it, but the fries were okay. We also ordered 3 funnel cakes: one was doughy and uncooked, the other was a little underdone, and the last was cold and so burnt you couldn't pull it apart to eat it. For the quality and quantity, the food was not even close to being worth the price and they clearly have some kinks to work out. I had high hopes to have fun, local place like this, but it would take a lot to get me to go back. FWIW, i love that they have a lot of tables in the shade, and it seems like a cute place to come make s'mores on their gas fire pit. read more

This is a super cute place. Amazing fire pit, tons of seating with a lot of seats in the shade. My kids and I really enjoy coming here for lunch and Sno-cones. The food is really good! We have tried burgers, chicken strips and the chicken sandwich. Everything has been great so far. Not the best Sno-cone ice we have ever had, but the atmosphere kinda of makes up for that. Definitely not the best snow cone, but is convenient if you live in Ballwin area. The price for a small and medium snowcone was almost 8 dollars, seemed very pricey to me. They should have invested in a better quality ice shaving machine instead of a second rate game room with second rate prices on a dollar min to play. read more
