No B.S. just great service. I saw the "Buy 2 tires, get 2 free" promotion at a national chain tire store. I called and the price was insane. You have to purchase a warranty to get the promotional price. That jacks up the price to more than double. You get none of that crap at Balo's. read more

I've been in the valley 5 years and I wish I would've met them sooner. Having a car is expensive and maintenance is necessary. This is a nice family place where these guys know what they are doing. I used to go to another shop where breaks where around 300-500 with parts and labor and considering my car. This place told me 120 for all breaks I just needed the parts. As long as I got the correct parts I didn't need the most expensive break pad. $240 for breaks on a foreign car rather than $500 I'll take it. My oil change was $50 over $150 at my previous shops I'll take it. I'm saving big money here, and the job is not crappy. This place takes there time when they work they don't lie and say it'll be done by this time. If you want a rush job on your car you probably don't care about it lasting anyway. I brought my car in 8am was done by 11:30am. They offer for you to wait or come back if you like. Customer service is a big thing companies fail to realize customers pay them. Everyone at this establishment was respectful, and kind. The bathroom was also clean which I appreciated. If you are looking for reasonable prices and are tried of being over charged look here. Waited about 30-45 min yesterday for them to change one tire right after work.. I made it home everything was fine until this morning. While on my way to my moms house on the 101 freeway, the tire that I had JUST purchased popped and I swerved into the next lane almost hitting another car. Jesus, and his crew have always set me up nice. I just took my 24 inch rims off of my Escalade in that was dented to get fixed, and he did it in two hours and fixed it perfectly . I was having a slow leak that was making me lose 20 pounds of tire pressure in a matter of three days, and now it runs perfectly, saved me over $2000 or more on buying a new set of 24 inch rims, I also have a Nissan Altima that I regularly buy used tires for at his shop, never have let me down, never have shredded, been on numerous road trips on those tires and always got to and from safe. literally the worst tire shop ive ever been to, and im not one to really complain about minor imperfections. first, they bent my friends brand new wheels, simply mounting tires, and when we went back and told them, all they did was apologize and give him $5 off. the wheels that were bent were worth 4k. then, when i went there to just put a tire on one of my own, they installed the lowest quality metal valve stem ive ever seen incorrectly and my tire now leaks air due to it. the prices are cheap, the work is terrible. not to mention, they have also bent new wheels from other people im aqquainted with. if 0 stars was an option, i would definitely rate it that. read more

I have been here multiple times for used tires when I needed a quick repair. Always very helpful and fast. Last weekend we took my wife's car in because it was shaken when driven. Turned out to be an issue with one of her tires. We bought a used tire for $30. I needed new tires on my car and they were able to order two new tires and have them delivered that day. We left my wife's car, had brunch, and returned to leave my car and pick hers up afterward. They charged me $120 per tire, $240 out the door. That included everything. Comparing other tire stores, Costco was the cheapest and they were $110, but there were additional fees for mounting and disposal that added another $100. These guys did the work well, quickly, and cheaper. I recommend them. Bring cash. read more

Came in for a tire change on my two rear tires. The service alone took 2 1/2 hours... for two tires? I didn't complain. I sat there and chatted with a lady waiting for service for the whole 2 hours, she was lovely. They even worked on her car after hours. The reason I'm giving a one star was because when I drove home... (should've checked before I left, I know) I run spiked lug nuts on my wheels, 6 out of the 20 lugs I run are missing. They're add ons to my regular lugs. A little confused but whatever, I just took them off and added new ones. Driving home, I realized... huh kinda bumpy for these new tires (they were used) and I didn't say anything either nor go back and complain. Then came the day I went to go drive my car, realized that my two front tires went bad so I called and asked to come in two change them out. Turns out, they put a wrong tire size on my rear ones that I had just noticed when I got there. Mind you, my car was in the garage for a month since I've gotten those tires on and they haven't been driven on yet besides to the shop and home. The man put on a 255/35 when I needed 235/35 and the tires were lop sided/off set from each other. So short said, my tire size were not matching. I then told the nice man who spoke English, we went back and fourth between the owners and I and the conclusion came to, no money back, no refund, no exchange for a different tire or anything. I'm sorry but if you can't fix a mistake that your shop did that's a problem. Mil amores is right next door and they are much more helpful and had plenty of tires. Mind you, a brand new one is $90 there, and balos is 150 a piece. read more

Wonderful, love this place. Not only are they open til 9pm; everybody else closes at 6; they were fast and efficient and had exactly what I needed for a great price. They are now located across the street at 601 E. Chandler Blvd, but I wouldn't recommend them. I found them on Offer-Up and needed 4 tires unmounted and mounted. They quoted me $20 for this service. When I got there, they said it would be $40 since they misunderstood what service I wanted done. Reluctantly, I agreed since I was already there and didn't want to lug the tires somewhere else. When I returned the next day, they said that one of the wheels had sealant on it and would need to be "ground down with a grinder" which would cost another $40 to mount that one tire. I should have left, but they still wanted the full $40 for mounting only 3 tires. The removal of the sealer could have been removed with a wire brush in about 10 minutes and so I asked them if they would do it for $20. They said $30. Again reluctantly, I decided to have them do it since I couldn't have only 3 tires. They seem to be a bait and switch operation. Get you in the door for cheap quote and then charge much more than they should for the service. What should have cost me $20, wound up costing me $70. I've learned my lesson and will never go back. I'd suggest you stay away. read more

I recently got my car fixed at this shop and it's the worst decession you can ever do they are not professional at all and have no idea what there doing to your car When I first got to the shop I explained the problem I was having with my car , which I already knew because I've gotten it diagnose by multiple Machanics . So the Machanic took a look at my car and he agreed with me and also felt I needed a new power steering pump and also a power pressure hose for the leak . He did the work on my car and the next day I picked up my car the next day after that my car sounded worst then it did before my power steering pump would make loud nose and I still had a leak in my car so I asked him did he fix the problem I payed him to do long story short I brought the car back 4 times the Machanic because each time he didn't solve the problem the 4th time I brought it back I was so fed up so I asked him if he could ordered me a new part and replaced the part he just put on because it was no good the next day when I brought it back and came to pick my car up the Machanic was so rude he didn't even show me the parts he fixed on my car after I asked him to see my old parts he never showed me and laugh in my face then he said that I owed him extra money because there was another problem with the car and he fixed it but that was a lie he never fixed anything on the car he had no idea what he was doing so I recent brought it to another shop and it turns out the machanic never even replaced the parts on my car which I payed for brand new parts bottom of the story this is not a machanic I would trust to even get an oil change they have no license and have no idea how to fix a car the right way this was one of the worst decisions I've made taking my car to this shop to be honest I've could of had a dangers situation after having this machanic work on my car who doesn't have any idea what he is doing I had multiple times my wheel locked on me after he damage my car which could had gotten me and family killed I just wish we had better laws that could protect us innocent people from horrible machanic shops like this read more

I Had 2 tires on my car go bad on a Sunday, most places closed, I found Balos ( Chandler Blvd about a 1/2 mi. east of Az. Ave ) & called them,Not only were they open ( til 8:00pm ! ) but they also had the tires I needed ( used ) in stock - very nice used condition for a great price. Went down they popped both wheels off ( included in price !! ) & they replaced the tires. 20 minutes flat I was back on the road & fixed !!
