The food was ready and delivered on time. The noodles, beef chow fun and fried rice are BIG! We'll have leftovers for days. Best won ton soup so far! Look, my elder mom is Chinese. We've tried at least 7 restaurants, and they all don't meet her standards. This soup though? She really enjoyed it. So I decided to try this place for lunch. I picked my typical favorite: Sesame Chicken, and decided to pair it with a Green Apple Bubble Tea. Unfortunately, my first impressions were not that great. The green apple Bubble tea was very watery, and the bubbles were a bit too soft. (It may be my fault that I went at 2 pm instead of the regular lunch time). There was a LOT more spring rolls than I anticipated. I thought it came with one, but I ended up with five! (They were a bit on the over-crispy end, but were decent). For me, the sesame chicken had a bit too much breading, and the sweet and sour sauce was significantly more on the sour end. (The portion size was significantly large though, so, props on that end.) Yes it takes time, about 20 mins for 2 entrees and one customer ahead of us and who knows if phone rang with To Go's also, but after trying we would wait again! Curry Chow Fun...yeah what is that exactly...I had to ask too! BBQ Cha Sui Pork and plenty of shrimp, 8-9 at least, are main proteins along with wafer thin ribbons of egg omelet. Green peppers also not normally in the beef variety round out the veggies. Cha Sui was cut thin and small, and would of preferred slightly larger pcs with less throughout so you could taste it more prominently but the shrimp was on overload for $9!! Looking for a spicy Chinese yellow sauce curry at the carts today, but with just one Thai and Indian cart open that had curry, this came the closest and I was thrilled with my pick! So it's not as spicy as either of the aforementioned, but still pleased greatly with a great spice blend and the level of medium heat, that I had no need for the sides of chili flake oil nor sriracha provided to burn it out. Made for 2 very satisfying tucks to my tummy cries and ditto for hubby's Kung Pao which he raved about and definitely wants to return to, and at 82nd Cartlandia, the Burrito cart that always seems to be open in the middle of the pod has reigned supreme for our repeat visits on value, flavor and satisfaction. Long wait time which was whatever, but the orange chicken was submerged in the most viscous and thick sauce, it's like I was eating straight corn syrup. We drove from around Reed to here after a long day of fasting. My Bf got his gyro and finished it before I got my food. But apparently people like it so much that they order a ton of it for to go and dinner at home. I got the sesame beef meal with crab wontons. My food came out in a nice to go container with a hole cut. I appreciated this so that it wouldn't have a lot of condensation in there. The rice was nice and soft. The beef was super crispy and saucy. I could taste the moderate spice from it. My egg roll that came with it was crispy but the dipping sauce it too syrupy and sweet. I probably should stop ordering crab wontons at places. They really end up over charging you for just some cream cheese. But eh that's okay. I'm hooked on this cart! What I love about their preparations is that the ingredients are super fresh. The food is not overly sauced so you can still taste the veggies themselves and they are a bit Al dente. I have enjoyed everything we have ordered which has included cashew chicken, veggie fried rice, Szechuan shrimp, Broccoli beef...one stand out is their yakisoba noodle dishes. The "dim Sum" sticky rice is freaking HUGE and delicious. I also ordered the pepper salted shrimp ( no shell) . The shrimp was hot tasty and fresh and tossed nicely with wok fried onions that being said i prefer a less battered ( batter coated) shrimp for " pepper salted," but i still ate every shrimp happily. I ordered Singapore noodles and taro bubble tea and both are delicious! Boba are so fresh and soft! Taro smoothie isn't too sweet (I'm very sensitive to that). I love that my takeaway was packaged in a plastic container instead of styrofoam. (Plastic isn't much better, but maybe I can recycle it somewhere?) This one dish is enough for 3-4 meals. Unfortunately, this place was a flop for me. I normally LOVE me some Chinese food, but... this was a disappointment. You get a LOT of food for not too much money, which was great! But my sweet and sour chicken was yuck. And I'm a HUGE fan of sweet and sour chicken, so that was a big deal for me. It had the sour tang, but none of the sweet! I ate maybe two pieces, then threw the rest away. I was actually really, really sad about it. I shared my husband's food instead (he went to a different truck). The veggie spring rolls were just decent, but the sauces included were not. I wouldn't go back. Cheap food, but you get what you pay for. I'd rather have Panda Express. read more

I ordered the $17 seafood fried rice. There were two burnt/dry/overcooked pieces of shrimp and no other seafood. The eggs were all black and half of the rice was too. It was inedible. This Chinese cart has terrible cross-contamination problems and doesn't seem to wash cookware (or, according to other reviewers) hands well enough to prevent problems. I went here with a friend with food allergies and despite having a long conversation about ingredients before ordering, and not seemingly having any peanuts or anything in it, the meal caused a major reaction necessitating an afternoon of puking and an EpiPen. They are now in Cartlandia. For $6 I got a large portion of BBQ pork, veggies and rice, with a bland little egg roll thrown it! I added 4 fat little pork shumai for $2 that were quite tasty. A cute kid was helping at the cart, and did a very good job. My BBQ pork veggie dish was huge, and had a good deep flavor, not too greasy and definitely a good deal. I ate it, feeling full and probably healthier than it actually was, but lots of veggies always helps. Boyfriend said he ordered General Tso's. They said "uhhhh yeah. General Tso's." Got home, was kung pao beef, too far to go back. Shame on us for not checking :( 5. Overall food is on the bland side. I had pot stickers and won ton soup. It was my first time. The won ton soup was gigantic, and the won tons were packed separately, as I got it to go. For $6 the value was really incredible. The broth was perfectly good, the bbq pork and bok choy were plentiful, and the tender won tons probably numbered a dozen. Perhaps it's an acquired taste....but I just don't see myself acquiring a taste for cured dried beef coated in mostly breading and doused in sour black bean sauce......they call it sesame beef....I call it a stomach ache that's already happened before you eat it....At least the portions are large, and the prices are more than reasonable. The best part of my meal was the vege spring roll that comes with almost every entree. I love cabbage, and it was stuffed with plenty of it.....I have no gripe in regards to the rock bottom 7 bucks I paid for a meal that could feed two ppl....but the sauce was so sour and just made it inedible. I managed to finish about one third of it before having to toss it. Maybe I'll give them another try sometime in the future, but I'll be sure to order something else. They seem to draw in a decent crowd of returning customers who know what to order without even looking at the menu.....
