The donuts, both regular and gluten free, are some of the best cake donuts I have ever eaten. Bucket list check mark! A co-worker treated me earlier this week with Bamboo's blueberry and red velvet donut. On Saturday I took an impromptu trip with my husband. We weren't certain what they'd have left but we had several options. Today I got to indulge in the strawberry donut with buttercream frosting and the OG chocolate donut with sprinkles. The OG was a denser cake, somewhat between a donut and piece of cake with chocolate frosting. The blueberry and strawberry donut were softer but still had chew before it melted in my mouth. Loved my Vietnamese coffee - flavorful and not too sweet. They had a lot of drink options, including a seasonal menu. I left with a thick slice of banana bread with sesame. Can't wait to eat it because I've heard wonderful things about the flavor. Service was amazing. We enjoyed speaking with the owners / workers. It's a small space and has a lot of energy at the counter. They handled the crowd well and our food was boxed, drinks made quickly. A few tables and wall bench provide seating plus patio tables. So I'm late to the party. Excellent donuts with soft and crispy texture on the glazed. The blueberry was pillowy soft and spot on flavors. We had a Red Velvet which had a Creme Cheese piping that was both aesthetic and delicious. The shop has a relaxed atmosphere with bench seating, inviting a sit-in. This shop was such a pleasant experience! Staff were so friendly and helpful. Great variety of drinks and doughnuts along with some gluten free options. One of my family member's has a gluten allergy and they were so vigilant about cross contamination without even having to be asked (changed gloves, tongs, etc). Heard about them from IG! You can find parking easily but since the gym is next door, there are a lot of people going in and out. On top of that, there's not much signage. But you'll see a sign for coffee. When we walked in, there's not a lot of seating. Probably just a place to grab some sweets and coffee, then leave. My sister tried the ube latte while I got The Bees Knees. The ube latte was exceptional! It's tough to find a good ube latte that has a lot of ube flavor. The bees knees was pretty light. It had pumpkin and honey in it. Not super sweet. We also got a few different donuts to try. They're about the same size as the ones at North Lime, but they aren't dense or super sweet which was perfect! Staff was nice. We had asked for other donut flavors to buy, but the guy at the register forgot them. There was a long line, so he may've been flustered. I went there for the National Donut Day. I heard a lot about this place, and now it was the time for me to check it out. When I got there, it was quite a little busy, which is a good sign. I got three different donuts that I want to try. Their service was nice and easy to do. The workers were really nice. It is easy and effective. The place was clean. Most importantly, the coffee was excellent! Not too sweet but still with that caffeine kick u need. I got the Mahalo Cold Brew and a Americano. Wife got the BBL latte. We also got an assortment of donuts and when I say All of them were good, I mean ALL OF THEM were good. Apparently the owner bakes them daily and he is a born and raised Louiviellian(not sure if that's what they are called). Support local for sure tho!
