I purchased two gift certificates in June 2023 (paid cash) and attempted to use them today, February 14, 2026. Despite federal law (CARD Act) requiring gift certificates to be valid for at least 5 years, these had a printed 6-month expiration. When I explained the federal law requirement to the owner over speakerphone, he became belligerent and stated directly: "I don't care what the law states, they are expired." He then admitted he's issued "lots of gift certificates" that have expired and refuses to honor any of them. Even after the front desk employee confirmed she personally issued these certificates, the owner refused to honor them or make any exception. I'm deeply disappointed. This isn't just about poor customer service - this is a business owner openly admitting he doesn't care about federal consumer protection laws. I'm filing a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Warning to others: If you've purchased gift certificates from this business, they may refuse to honor them regardless of what the law requires. I'm pretty sure the masseuses here are not trained. However, my masseuse sure worked hard, I could hear him breathing heavily at times. I appreciate the effort and pressure that he put in. One thing he needs to be aware of is boundaries, he would somewhat massage the sides of my breasts and when he was wiping off the massage oil from my thighs, his hand quickly grazed past my private area. He did some weird stretch with each of my arms that made me arch my back, this stretch was not necessary and achieved nothing but discomfort. Also I have my doubts regarding the sanitation practices of this place, and particularly my masseuse. When he left to grab a wet towel to wipe off the oils, I heard a toilet flush but I didn't hear a sink running afterwards for washing his hands. Grossed me out. Caution: fraudulent massage scam My back hurts so bad that I'm doubled over, taking a handful of prescription medication just to be able to go to work. Thinking of going to the doctor as I'm in an incredible amount of pain and lidocaine patches and ketoprofen gel isn't helping. Lee rubbed my back with a scratchy cheap sheet, then poured so much oil that she glided up and down my back using her forearms superficially on my skin. Tried telling her that her cheap oil was giving me an allergic reaction but no one spoke English. I asked her to massage my muscles, but only 1/3 employees spoke enough English to process a payment. Then a man switched with her and he had sandpaper rough hands, who also had no clue about human anatomy. He applied too much pressure to my spine, and went against the muscle fibers, digging in and causing multiple knots to form where I was previously pain free. The business used to be run by other people but now is under new management. Anyone know how to legally report this so that it doesn't happen to someone else? They took payment for 1hr despite only doing 40mins when I got up and said enough is enough. read more

Pros: I walked in sore and left feeling limber. It was a deep tissue approach. Cons: The massage therapist that worked on me was sick with a runny nose, coughed several times and left to blow nose a few times. I never heard him wash his hands after blowing his nose but could clearly hear him spit and cough and blow his nose. I can only hope he used hand sanitizer??? He had a mask on but as the service progressed I realized he was much sicker than I realized. I asked him if he was ok but he did not respond. I should have left right away when I noticed. No employee should work that closely with people when sick like that. I'll update this post in a week if I get COVID. Sadly, I think there is a pretty good chance he has it. read more

Rather than relying on words she simply lets out a small pain-like sound if the masseuse is getting too strong for her. It works, and she sits a little taller after the experience. We decided to search for reflexology and found Bamboo Forest. We chose a 90 minute foot and back with hot stones and oil. We were taken to a room with several massage type tables - more like a nail spa setup. There was quiet music and dim lights. The massage began with a face and scalp massage, then neck, shoulders and arms, then legs - then the foot reflexology- very good!! Then you turn over and there is a spot in the face cradle for your face. Next is a very deep back massage - lots of shoulder and work along the muscles of the spine and also pressure to glutes (I had shorts on and kept my shorts on) Then finishing with hot stones. Absolutely disappointed with service. $50 for a hour skin rub that was suppose to be an actual massage After 45 minutes of laying thete waiting for more that my skin rubbed I stopped the session. My friend and I got "foot massages" which customarily include a general massage over clothing. I ended up being directed to remove my top and bra DURING the massage and my was directed to remove his pants and shirt mid massage. Both were an older couple and neither spoke English so we couldn't communicate any questions or reservations we felt about this. But the final incident was my friend said that during the massage the lady pulled his butt cheek over and elbow massaged his rectum! He jumped then moved a little and thought maybe she did it by accident only to have her repeat the process beginning with pulling his other butt cheek. Unfortunately he prepaid the massages with tips and since they wouldn't understand what we were upset about without a translator, we just left. This place is nasty. First of all you cannot even understand the receptionist. She led us into the back room where there was another man getting a massage and told us to takeoff all of our clothes and lie down. I looked around like she was joking. My husband said he wanted a private room so then they let us into another room that still had 4 beds in it. She told us to takeoff her clothes and lay down and I asked her if I could at least have a towel to cover myself. She went in the other room and got a towel but nothing for my husband LOL I look down at the bed and could tell it was already used and the sheets were not changed. We really enjoy this location. They usually can accommodate us quickly. We have come here at least 4 or 5 times and is our main "foot massage" place. You keep your clothes on but take off your shoes and socks so they can be soaked in water and cleaned. They are very inexpensive as well. We will be back! read more

I really wanted to like this place but I had a rash for a week on my legs and my back after the massage. When I was leaving I noticed they reused some of the towels so they are not the most sanitized people. I've also been to Min's Foot Spa on Alameda thats a lot newer and they use gloves when touching your feet so give them a try and compare. Price is the same $25/hr. Parking is on east side of Federal but it only has 3 spots. There's a lot next to it. The people are nice and quality of massage will depend on the therapist. read more

We came in a little after 10:30AM and were told the massages were by appointment only and the next available was in 30 mins. We left and came back and were ready for some relaxing awesomeness. My feet started to soak and my masseur massaged my face and shoulders. WOW! I was relaxed within minutes and couldn't wait for the rest. After my arms she moved on to my feet which were amazing. Very bad experience The place is so sketchy. The lady at the front seemed like she was sedated. The room they put me in for the massage with creepy and nothing seemed sanitary. They put a gross blanked over me and put my feet in an actual bucket with a blue liquid. The very large man comes in and does not know a word of English. He snaps at you to get your attention and to signal you to move. He fell asleep multiple times while he was massaging my feet. I am going to be covered in bruises. At one point, this 400 lb man is on top of me and jumping on my back with his knees (I am a 23 year old girl). He almost broke my fingers during the hand massage portion. He spread my arms so far apart with so much force that I thought they were going to break out of the sockets. When the massage was over (which I was VERY happy about), he just snapped at you and then walked out. The entire massage he was wearing pajama pants and flip flops so it was so loud when he was walking around. I wanted to end the massage early the whole time but I didn't know how to communicate with him. I also couldn't tell him that he was really hurting me. When I went to the lady at the desk to pay, she just looked at me and didn't say a word. So I just paid and ran out of there. She never even said thank you or a single word for that matter. Don't let the high volume of reviews tempt you. IDK what my friend and I experienced, but it was not relaxing nor did we leave feeling good or relaxed. You get what you pay for no doubt. Besides the unprofessionalism of the entire setup, what we went thru was wild. They definitely apply pressure in all the wrong places. I think my spine was worked on more than anything else, OUCH! The nuisance of our masseuses phones ringing, they answer it, and left multiple times during our only 30min massage. Even getting into the bed was weird, told me I can get naked and then they stand and watch. Needless to say I left my bra and pants on and laid face down. Once she covered me I removed my bra, also whilst being watched. Almost a week later and we both are still laughing at the insane experience and complaining about our aches still. As recently I stopped paying a monthly due at a more expensive massage company. However, I really have been stressed out. So I reviewed Yelp and found that Julian and Lee were highly recommended. I am sure that the other people who work here are great too. I just saw their names. I am jumping for joy at the wonderful massage as well as prices were so very reasonable. Only $30/hour. I ended up getting 90 minutes. I really enjoyed it. It's a little different than a regular American type massage. But I felt so great afterwards I am looking to return weekly if possible. My girlfriends and I tried this place after a quick yelp search when our normal massage place had too long of a wait, and thank goodness for that because this place blew it out of the water. Look, a massage is a massage so I'm not going to go too far in detail. It feels freaking awesome when someone rubs you down- you don't need the play by play. At any cheap, hour long full body massage place I've been to there's a routine. Start on your face, do your head and neck, shoulders, arms, feet, legs, turn over, butt, back etc. The thing that sets this place apart was that when they felt a knot they took the time to work it out, deviating from the routine that most less expensive places stick to in an effort to keep the time low. A knot in my neck, my back, wherever- when the woman working with me felt it she took the time to knead it out, leaving me feeling fantastic. As I sit writing this, with my typical hunched posture creating a new backache, all I want to do is get in my car and rush on over because I left feeling so great. Sometimes you have to treat yourself, and I think $45 (it's really $30 for a full body, hour long massage but tip well on cheap services if its deserved, people) is a fair price to make yourself feel like you're floating on air. read more

I guess I had pretty high expectations from the fact that this place has 4.5 stars. I went here today with my mom and brother. We were told the $25 for a full hour or $15 for half hour doesn't really do much of the back and shoulders which is exactly where I needed all the focus on. The lady at the front said that if we want just the back and the shoulder it would be $40 for an hour and $20 for a half. I thought that was ridiculous. I have never heard of that before but we were there already and we absolutely needed a massage so we got the half hour. Though I still decided to get the $20 half hour back and shoulder massage. It was very much needed Before I start on the massage I would just like to say that I did come out of there quite relaxed and and with less tension on my shoulders. I just have a few complaints. 1. The guy who gave me the massage was so inconsistent. I had to tell him three times that he needs to go a little softer. 2. My massage chair kept squeaking. 3. The room was cold. Now I know it's cheaper than usual but I have had several massages for $20 and I honestly believe that experience was not worth it. I'm definitely gonna keep looking for a better one. read more

I have massage training and I neglected to realize that there is absolutely NO actual massaging done here save your feet. The massage your feet, yes, but nothing else. And if you really want a massage or are actually hurting this place will only frustrate you. She missed most of the reflexology, she seemed very rushed and frantic almost. Of course my luck the gal I got had to leave me every 4 min to answer the door and/or phone. I actually left more tense than when I got there and my neck and back hurt just as bad. If you are in pain or need an actual massage do NOT waste your time and go to Lake Steam Bath for $35 an hour they are amazing (I can only speak for women therapists I know nothing about the men) and the BEST deal in Denver for good massages. The bldg is old as hell but $15 entrance and unlimited access to a hotter then heck jacuzzi, sauna, and eucalyptus steam room plus massages @ $35 an hour makes me look past the state of the building. Did Thailand invent the marshmallow? Probably not, but that's how I feel after my Thai massage with Betty today. Let me give you just a few highlights. Wait for the surprise.. there is a huge surprising ending. Giant Ieather chair, feet in hot bath, fleece blanket. Without taking my clothes off she worked my whole body. At one point she literally climbed on my back but it wasn't weird at all. I feel 100 percent. The clincher is... $25 I have spent hundreds on less effective massages. This is the place to go!
