Hands down the Best wonton soup in the area and we have tried most of the Chinese restaurants in the surrounding area. The shrimp spring rolls are also great. I went here the other night with my 2 sisters for dinner. Here's my break down of the place: Decor: 1.5 stars: this place needs an extreme makeover. The outside sign is what you would expect from a Chinese takeout place in the city. The booth we sat at was warn down in several places, older tables, and dingy carpet. Was a bit of a pizza place feel. The single bathroom apparently was having issues so we ended up having to use the mens room- also in need of a makeover. It wasnt dirty or anything, but do not go here for a fancy dinner! Pricing: 3 stars average all around for what you get Staff: 3 stars: big issue here was they didn't speak English very well and my sister has dietary restrictions due to her chrones- the order all ended up being right, but it was a bit of a struggle. I also asked for something on the side and he kept repeating back "no bean sprouts" and it just wasn't getting across so I had him leave it. I have never ordered take out here but there was someone having an issue at the front with something being wrong while we were dining, which didn't surprise me. Sushi: 3.5 stars it was decent, nothing blew me away, was worthy of taking home to eat leftovers Pad thai: 4 stars. To me, I would return for this. The pricing was fair and the serving size was HUGE. My sister's a regular here, and when we decided to have a big raucous family dinner, she recommended this place. So the 8 of us trooped in and we probably drove the poor waiter crazy with all our different orders, but since the owners knew my sister as a regular, they tried very hard to please us. The complimentary fried wontons they give you as a starter were DELISH. We ate all 3 dishes they left on our table (we were a starving bunch) and asked for more. I asked for the won ton soup, which was very flavorful. My brother loved the hot and sour soup. Everything else that we ordered was terrific, and believe me, I'm not a fan of Chinese food. I was pretty impressed. Final bill came out to less than $15 a person - pretty good considering how much we stuffed our faces. We tipped generously for being so good with the overall service. It's become a tradition for our shore gang to pick up take out here for our first night meals. We always order a selection of assorted sushi, shrimp pad Thai because it's enough for a couple people, egg rolls and soup. We are addicted to their fried noodles which are fresh and tasty. Gimme three bags of that just for me. My friend orders so often that one of the sushi rolls is named after him. This is my favorite Japanese (it's Chinese and Thai too) restaurant. Their sushi is very fresh and doesn't have too much rice like some places that skimp on the good stuff. I LOVE their Boston Roll - very light w/ lettuce and a dab of spicy mayo. Their chicken and shrimp tempura rolls are totally delicious. The beef sushi is very, very good too. If you are in luck Kim (although currently pregnant) will be your host/waitress. She is soo cute w/ a voice even tinier than she is. I am putting a blast on the place, sorry not sorry? This is apparently a spicy crab roll.... a crap ton of rice and a piece of crab. OH the spicy part is the mayo they added... a dab on top. The spicy shrimp is white rice and a piece of shrimp rolled inside, THATS IT. I'm sorry but definitely worst sushi place I've ever eaten from. sadly this place has fallen into the pits in recent months. We were regulars of this place before covid-19 forced them to shutdown. Since they have opened, the food is terrible. The chicken and broccoli, the wonton soup, chow mei fun, house fried rice, low mein, all taste terrible! It's like they froze all the food until re-opening months later - and everything is freezer burned. Sorry to say, STAY AWAY. i called to complain, the didn't care. No offer for different items or refund. It's very sad. But surely they will be out of business soon. read more

The owners also own Samuel & Chef Chan's in Voorhees which is essentially the same restaurant; the staff rotates between both locations. Both provide great local Chinese in a crowded market. Everything on the menu is delicious (the soups are particularly excellent) and super reasonable, especially the lunch menu and dinner specials. They also have a pretty good sushi bar in the back with extremely satisfying lunchbox specials. The staff is unbelievably nice and takes the time to know you; half the time they know what I want before I do. Bamboo Fusion was recently sold to new owners in October and I've only been there once since then. The food was comparable in quality and price and the staff was very friendly. read more

Bamboo Fusion is one of my favorite places for Americanized Chinese food and simple sushi. The red curry is still one of my favorites. It is perfectly spiced, with plenty of vegetables and large shrimp. Their spicy tuna roll is my hands down favorite, I would also recommend the banana and chicken tempora roll, the NY roll, and the salmon skin roll (try a hand roll if you prefer less rice in your sushi). The duck is perfectly crispy, though I wish the Peking Duck was served with buns instead of pancakes. The house special wonton soup is also a family favorite. Some of The service is excellent. Friendly wait staff will remember you quickly, offer free appetizers at times, and is always looking to make your meal a little better. Prices are reasonable, food is prepared quickly. read more

I've never had a problem with the food or even the service. The wait staff are polite and accommodating. However, the last time I went there, I used the bathroom and could not believe how filthy it was. I'm not talking about someone just left it messy. I used to love this place not only because of the food, but the service USED TO be phenomenal. Now? I'm dumbfounded on how RUDE and HORRENDOUS the service is from ONE SINGLE LADY, she looks about in her 50s and does not wear a uniform and she does the orders. Not only did she rush me to order when we were obviously still trying to figure out what we want, spent about $50 then told me 20 minutes, so we waited, then another customer comes in who was picking up and once his order was ready, he asked for a Pepsi then a few seconds later, asked for duck sauce, this lady had the audacity to tell this young man aggressively, "ANYTHING ELSE?! You want anything else?! I'm very busy!" I could not believe she told a paying customer she's busy with an attitude! UNBELIEVABLE! Be thankful you're busy! It has been about 25 minutes since our order has been made at this point, then she comes over to me and tells me another 20 minutes for our sushi cause the lady making them is busy, so I said, if she has not started making them, I'll just get my money back cause I can't wait any longer, we had to go. This is by far me and my boyfriend's favorite Chinese place :) the grandfather chicken, lo mein, California rolls, pork fried rice, dumplings, and wonton soup are incredible! I've never truly had anything bad here. The atmosphere is average but it gives us a homey feel. The server is great and he remembers us when we come in! If you're looking for a calm atmosphere and A LOT of food for cheap I'd stop by! We love this place so much and we will continue to go back. read more

Just had a terrible experience ordering from here tonight. I ordered online through GrubHub and they said it would be delivered by 740. I called at 8 PM in nicely asked and she said she was sending it out right away. I called back a half hour later and she claimed they had left already. I then finally get my order 20 minutes later and the sushi was completely mush together and inedible. When I called and asked for a reimbursement for just the sushi she Made a ton of excuses trying everything she could to get out of giving me back four dollars and then when I told her I don't think I was asking much to have the money back Because it took so long she told me to never order from there again. Grossly underwhelming. My usual spot is not doing grub hub right now and this was the recommended similar choice. Placed my usual sushi go tos: spicy tuna roll, sweet potato roll, spicy salmon roll. The rolls tasted off, just didn't taste as authentic as some of the other local establishments. I'd rather walk the distance to my usual place . I love love this place it is expensive so I only order from them once and a while but the food is always made to order the delivery is always fast and the food is piping hot. Ended up here on a whim. Based on my first review of this place I figured it would be pretty much the same experience. Wrong. The lady taking our order was very short with me. Idk what her deal was but I was asking for hot chili oil, NOT SRIRACHA...and before I could even get the word "oil" out she cut me off w "ok ok thank you thank you" basically saying stfu. So then.. we get our food. Seems ok.. had to repeat myself and ask again for hot chili oil bc of course a giant bottle of sriracha was brought out instead. I take a bite of the Chinese pizza I ordered and it is gross. I can't really describe the actual taste bc it was just saturated with oil. I let it soak in the dipping sauce that it comes with thinking that would help making it edible .. but nope. So when she came to check on us, I mentioned that it was disgusting. She immediately argued. Kept repeating "it's the same as all the rest". I argued back.. "ummm no, it isn't. As i have had Chinese pizza many times before at many diff places and it never tastes like this". She takes it away, she did ask if I wanted something else but I declined that offer. We continue w the rest of the meal. Get our bill and notice the pizza isn't taken off the bill. So she comes over and my bf asks why to which she argued again. "The pizza is the same as always. The chef says it's the same". I once again say no. It isn't. It tastes disgusting. It is bad. It is inedible. And we will not pay for that. She snatches the bill away and goes in the back. Brings it back w the pizza scratched off this time. So.. moral of the review. Don't go here and expect a good Chinese pizza... do go here if you like to argue. I'm Flabbergasted by how many good reviews this place has received, I'm Inclined to think the restaurant has impostors posting good reviews to increase business. I'll start with the good. The restaurant at least acted to be concerned with my dismay. However, they did not to compensate or rectify the situation. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll that came with left over baby shrimps, not a true tempura. They claimed their Micheal is made with real crab but it definitely came with imitation crabmeat. In addition the rolls were very sloppily made and tasted awful. I have had sushi throughout the south jersey area and this is by far the worst food I've had to date. I tried this place and the sushi was disgusting. I tried the Spicy Tuna roll and it tasted like they took canned tuna fish and added spicy mayo to it, instead of using fresh tuna. I was a regular customer there, but one day I went there to get "all you can eat sushi" for 25 dlls, the grumpy man gave me a salad and a bowl of rice I started ordering many rolls ((thought I was going to get 6 pieces on each roll)) he brought 2 pieces of sushi at the time every 10 -15 min, I stayed there for 2 long hours !!!! all I had was salad, bowl of rice, 8 pieces of sushi.... I went here February 16 and order a shrimp tempura and crabmeat hand roll. When I tasted the first I realized it tasted funny but I decided to keep eating it. The I finished. It wasn't even 5 seconds after I ate my last piece and I was hovered over my toilet. The crab meat must have been bad, but I will never eat sushi from here again! I normally don't like it when my order gets messed up...but when they doubled one of my items, I gladly paid for it! This is by far the best Chinese food in the area, and my wife likes the sushi too.
