Pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. We were in the area and I had mentally bookmarked this place prior. Took the chance and glad that I did. My girl & I love shrimp & lobster sauce, so we got a take out quart to share for dinner. EXCELLENT & out of ALL the years Ive been ordering this favorite, Ive never had it with (imitation) lobster slices. So good! There were a total of 11 nice sized shrimp. Ample egg too. OMG - the sweet tea - HELLO! Super sweet, but I'm a total sweet tooth :) Caution - they use MSG. I asked them to please hold it on ours, which they did. No headache, so it was true! I order here multiple times a month. Today I ordered over $40 worth of food, waited 20 minutes for them to make it and drove home. When I unpacked the food there was no rice. I immediately called and the owner basically called me a liar and was unapologetic. I went back to the store picked up the missing white rice and again who I believe was one of the owners again gave me a look like I am lying. I don't need to drive 20 minutes out of my way for white rice! I told I her will not be a customer and she did not care. I guess she thinks she has enough business. Not a nice lady? read more

Not really my cup of tea!! This restaurant seems to be very clean but the food ordered was very dirty. At least that's the way it taste and was packaged. The customers service was very professional and the order time was quick. I ordered the fried chicken platter, shrimp and broccoli with cashew nuts and the chicken egg fu young platter. The food was horrible!!!! The fried chicken was not fried but baked and came with a fly in the fried rice. We had to throw that away, immediately. The shrimp tasted old and pasty, another throw away. The only food that was ok was the chicken egg fu young. I didn't call to make a complaint because I didn't want to receive more food. I will never go here again!!! This is what happens, when you move to a new town and are forced to find new establiments to try.... I'll try over again, somewhere else. read more

The best Chinese takeout in Voorhees. Great prices and they give you a good amount of food, enough to share with another person and leave you feeling satisfied. The food is delicious, very flavorful. Will be ordering from here every time I get takeout, which is once a week. I always get the mushroom and beef with lo mein noodles. read more

I am so sorry to see that this restaurant has changed hands. While the name and menus are unchanged the staff is totally new. Unfortunately not for the better. We ordered from there tonite, (which is when I found out that it was a new bunch). I had the Hunan Shrimp - a reasonable portion of decent size shrimp, but an absolutely tasteless sauce. My wife ordered her usual Sesame Chicken. What a disaster that dish was. No sesame seeds, and a sauce that was mostly vinegar. YUCK! I wish I knew what happened the folks that used to own the restaurant. I will certainly miss them. As for the new crew, well I need to find a new Chinese restaurant. read more

Ugh Good Taste should change their name. I'm not sure where these other yelpers have had Chinese food, but the quality of this food was the complete opposite of their name. If I could have given them less than 1 start I would have. Absolutely disgusting! One yelper said they would fit right Chinatown in philly....really??? I don't think so. Let me begin this by saying that I am Asian and I am picky about my take-out Chinese. Good Taste is the best take-out Chinese this side of the bridge. I truly believe if this restaurant were placed in the center of Chinatown, they would fit right in! The food is excellent. The string beans taste homemade, lightly seasoned with garlic and soy sauce and not at all salty. The Kung Pow chicken is actually spicy and if you ask them to make it spicier, they do it! Not just ignore you or make it "watered down" spicy like they do at other mainstream fastfood Chinese restaurants. My wife loves their General Tso's, and they always accommodate her whenever she asks for extra broccoli. The egg rolls are lightly fried and crispy and not at all greasy. The hot and sour soup is just the right combination of spice and sourness. (Actually this is my taste test I use to gauge other restaurants and this place passed with flying colors!) All in all, I can't recommend this place enough. This is coming from a picky (Asian!) eater used to authentic cuisine. read more

Poor quality food and terrible service! A cheap chinese restaurant, that should be named "Poor Taste". The service is extremely slow and rude. I ordered food for pickup on Friday evening at 6.40pm, the lady said 30 minutes. After going to the restaurant more than 30 minutes later, I went straight to the register and paid for the food, in cash. The woman gave me my change and said, "food not ready, wait" (in broken English). I waited while two women and one guy, were working in the kitchen, chitchatting in Chinese. They prepared to-go orders for two other customers who were also waiting for their food. I waited over a half hour for my order, and then the lady asks, did you pay for this? I said yes, I paid cash. (They don't give a receipt if you pay cash, so I have no proof). It is bizarre that the same lady who took my payment asks me a half hour later if I paid!!!! Ridiculous. You don't remember me, the only blond female customer waiting in the restaurant, who paid and has been waiting in front of you for over a half hour???? She then questions me 'when' I had paid, so I had to remind her, I paid cash and have been waiting, then she very hesitatingly gave me the bag of food. I felt extremely humiliated by this experience. I have never ever been accused of not paying for something, in all of my life. I will never order from this restaurant again. If you do decide to go to this restaurant, please make sure you get a receipt! These people are some of the worst business owners I have ever met. There are other better Chinese restaurants just within a mile from this restaurant, like Shangri La, Lucky Chopstix, or Chef Chan's. read more

Where did it all go wrong with this one? Ordered chinese from this establishment for the first time. Since my family and I moved, we wantvto find what our go to spots will be in our new town. Ordered the regular items for the kids like egg rolls, general tsos chicken, ribs, and something for me. Wings and fried rice for me. Ball dropped. As someone who has grown up eating Chinese food from all over the country, Good Taste lives up to it's name. The flavors are very balanced, the spicy foods are perfect.
