Sushi is amazing. It is definitely the best in the area. Always super fresh. Service is excellent.

I have eaten at a lot of Chinese food places and this is hands down the best quality Chinese food I have ever eaten. Pay no mind to the people posting negatively. The place is decorated a little 70's style and the lady working there has a weird voice but the food hands down speaks for itself. I don't live in the area any more and compare everything else I eat to this place. I always try and frequent there every so often when I feel like taking the drive. read more

Such a surprise! Chinese in this area is generally disappointing, but this place is heads and shoulders above the rest! Sushi was fresh and delicious. Rolls were BIG and little more expensive (from $3-$9 each), but worth the extra $$. But I ordered the Japanese salad with Ginger Dressing for $2 and it was big enough for 2 (as side salad not an entree)! Absolutely HORRIBLE. I ordered the General Tsao's Chicken and when it came...whatever it was...was UNIDENTIFIABLE. (HONEST)...The employees said it was white meat, but it was something mushy and very ugly. They would not take it back and I ended up throwing the entire plate away, including the sticky cold pork fried rice. The word YELP! does not even come close to rating this establishment...It would be more like..CHOKE AND DIE. I actually put a picture of "whatever this was" on Facebook and got TONS OF YUCKS!!! ...What is that??? My work ordered from here for lunch and it smelled soooo good and the food looked delicious! I ordered dinner from here when I got home...cause everyone at work kept saying how great the food was. The employees and the phone were upbeat and very pleasant! Such a nice change from some other places. And as for the previous comment about vomiting the sushi, maybe you shouldn't sushi to begin with.Most of the time, they use crabmeat substitutae, which has been pre cooked. And food poisoning, which you were implying, does not happen that quickly. As I do feel bad that you were sick, it doesn't sound it was related to this great restauraunt. read more

Visiting the area and just happened to pop in for lunch. We were not disappointed! It felt like one of those hidden treasures only locals know about. The service was great, very friendly and prompt. Sushi was awesome! They even made a special roll just for me. Soup was great, my friend had the chicken and broccoli with fried rice, very generous portion, she barely made a dent in it. The best app in the world is Grub Hub. I love using it to order delivery. New Bamboo Fusion is one of the places I often get delivery from. Not only is their food above average, but its also wonderful to be able to order the full gamut of 'Asian' cusine. That being said, today is the first time I've encountered a problem. Tips for delivery are not mandatory and it is extremely presumptious for the delivery person to look at the receipt and actually say, "You didn't include a tip?" I usually have a cash tip ready by the door, but in this case I did not. I asked the delivery woman to stand by for a moment while I retieved my cash. However, I was a little annoyed at the presumption. I'll order from New Bamboo Fusion in the future...but I promise not to hold my tongue if I encounter the same kind of presumption again. read more

If there was a way to give this place a zero, I would. We ordered the Pad Thai and Spicy Salmon roll. After ringing our doorbell, we watched as the driver picked our meal up off the floor (he had dropped it). Still, we let that go. Then, my husband tried the sushi, which he was charged an extra dollar to make "spicy" and it was actually sweet. The fish looked dull and tasted bad. The Pad thai had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I had to drench it in soy sauce to even eat one small plate. Overall the food was terribly bland and the service was even worse. When we called back to complain, we got not one, but THREE rude people in succession on the other line telling us that we had no idea what food was supposed to taste like. I wanted to like this place because of all the good reviews but the Chinese food was just...meh. The general chicken was not true general chicken sauce it was kinda like orange chicken with a little spice thrown in. The fried rice was was unfavorful and like plain fluffy rice with vegetables not really fried. The wonton soup was very bland! How can you screw that up? It just seamed half-a** and no one in my family felt it warrants a second chance!BHowever if those aren't your items of choice, than you might be alright. The food was delivered quickly and hot. The sushi was the only thing that saved this review from two stars ... and not because it was amazing, but simply fresh tasting and flavorful. It was not the best I've ever had but probably the best that could be expected for NJ sushi. (Sorry I'm from California ... a sushi lover's heaven!) I think I can warrant giving a bad review considering I spent $80 on Chinese delivery and tried many items on the menu...none of which impressed us. No, I wasn't feeding an army just a family of 4. Lol. I was just really hungry and expected to be impressed by everything yelpers raved about. Hopefully it was just a bad night and I'm the only one this disappointed. The best Chinese food in the area! The sushi is also great along with their homemade spicy mustard. (comes in the little plastic cups, sometimes had to ask for it). Sad to say I no longer live in the area and have had to find another restaurant to frequent. Until I did find one, I had no problem making the 20 min drive to this restaurant. read more

Extremely rude and unprofessional establishment. I placed an order for takeout and when I got home my general tso meal did not have the rice with it. I called to ask if they could please send the driver out to deliver the rice they forgot and was told I would need to wait at least 30 mins because they had other orders. I stated my food would be cold by then and that I should be prioritized due to their mistake. I was told they would not prioritize me and I would need to wait at least a half hour. Frusturated I then asked for a credit and was told they would only credit me a dollar which is the cost of white rice yet I paid full price for a meal. What a joke! The older woman who takes orders there is extremely rude as others leaving reviews have stated and I wound up paying full price for a meal I didnt even receive in its entirety. I will never order from Bamboo Fusion again. I would highly recommend going to the Teppanyaki Buffet on Blackwood Clementon Road instead. For 8.99 you get all you can eat and it's much better than dealing with the unprofessionalism at Bamboo Fusion. read more

If you go here to eat, the food is great! I thought it was great to have a sushi place that delivers, but cannot even compare the portion size when it's a delivery..very disappointed. I ordered two shrimp tempura rolls and the entire roll was filled with nothing but breadcrumbs and the shrimp was a tiny sliver as long as my fingernail, completely unsatisfactory. The same exact thing goes for the California Roll, absolutely no crabmeat, just filled with cucumber. Honestly, out of two shrimp tempura rolls there couldn't have been any more than 2 entire shrimps total in the two rolls together. Again, if you go in to eat, the food is great but it is a rip off to deliver. Would not recommend. read more

If I could rate a zero, I would. Ordered a spicy tuna roll and eel. Neither of them were fresh. They smelled so funny and had a strong fish scent, something NOT NORMAL for sushi. I eat sushi all the time and never ever smelled something so nasty. Well, lo and behold I should have trusted my instinct . I ate it anyway, regardless of how nasty it tasted and smelled, bc I was so hungry. I had food poisoning the next day. Do not trust this place. Some dishes are edible, bc they go through a good amount of them. But what they do is they serve old food from the fridge. Apparently the tuna was NOT FRESH. They prob had too much of it and couldn't use it all in time. Eel? It's not something most ppl eat, so they probably buy it in bulk to save money or something. Who knows. But either way, it was not fresh, and I'm not an idiot. They knew what they served, and they should be put out of business. I'm calling the board of health this week. read more
