Planters and bamboo plants from Bamboo Garden.
Margo H.

I recently visited Bamboo Garden and had a wonderful time speaking with Peter. He guided me through the process of buying planters and selecting the type of bamboo for my needs. Yesterday he arrived to install the bamboo and it looks wonderful. The plants are young so it will take a while for them to leaf out and spread but I'm confident that this was the right choice for a small and private garden.

I always loved seeing their flowers as I drove by. I never did stop by, and now I live in Hillsboro. It's not that far of a drive, but I don't drive by very often anymore. Well, I saw a water color painting class event on Facebook being held at Blooming Junction. My sister and I have been really getting into doing water color painting. I signed us both up. I was excited not only for the class, I was really interested in checking out what Blooming Junction had to offer! I'm so glad this opportunity presented itself. Such a lovely nursery, all the plants looked so healthy and well cared for. It's much more than a nursery though. There was a market to buy fresh produce and other sundry items. I was delighted to find Bubbies brand pickles. I find this brand at other stores, but the dill relish has been illusive. I was just thinking to myself this morning while making chickpea salad how I wished I had Bubbies Dill relish..and lo and behold I find it here! So happy! My sister and I strolled around before our class started. Bought a drink in the market to sip on throughout the class. There was a water cooler also in the workshop area. We had fun getting in touch with our creative side! After class ended, we strolled around some more. I ended up getting the Bubbies relish and strawberries. They were so sweet! There are so many things to see besides plants. I am sure I will be back!

Stopped in for the first time since right after they opened. The selection is amazing! Great indoor…read moreand outdoor plant options. They have u-pick strawberries that are Devine. The store has some great options and they have a cute little gift shop. Highly recommend!

Always great service! I own a Landscape Business and when I can not find plants for projects…read morelocally I can count on Cascadian to have what we need. Always worth the drive! All of the employees I have been in contact with have been very helpful.

DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE…read more The attitude of the employees, in particular the heavy weight, back-country prick who told me to "leave the property. This is a wholesale business and if you aren't buying something, leave." (Exact words). Context: I ride around town on a classic scooter. From time to time, I like to stop and look at a map. This is what I did today. I entered the lot through the entrance, parked my bike, having never gotten off the bike and checked the map on my phone. I hadn't been there five minutes. Mr Heavyweight, back-country prick in his white truck approached me and stated, "Can I help you?" I said, "No thank you. I am just checking my map." Mr Heavyweight, back-country prick, "This is a wholesale business and if you aren't here to make a purchase, then leave." It wasn't, "Then you will have to leave" or "This is private property," it was "then leave." Nowhere does it state that this is private property, that there is no trespassing, "if you aren't here to buy something , leave" or anything to that extent. Mr Heavyweight, back-country prick who drives the big white truck because, well you know what they say about guys who drive big trucks... Mr Heavyweight, back-country prick, if you aren't the owner of this establishment, then I hope your boss sees this and recognizes how you are representing their business. If you are the owner of this establishment, then, well you don't know the business I was preparing to begin with Cascadian Nurseries.
