I really can't say enough good things about Chris - she was super knowledgeable, helpful, and patient in consulting which variety of lavender would best suit the space I had in mind and my use case (low maintenance and only needing one trim a year). Since she runs the place by appointment only, I first called then emailed with more details of the space I was trying to fill and what I was looking for. After some back and forth, I made an appointment to stop by, look at specific varieties, and pick out some plants. The day of, she went through the different families of lavender and helped me narrow down to a specific variety, looking at the dried cuttings from last year as well as plants in her garden. She also had plenty of other hardier medicinal plants available including multiple types of mints, thymes, rosemaries, and other herbs. All the plants are very reasonable priced and I couldn't be happier with my experience. It's very clear that Chris has a passion for her plants.

If you're anything like me, you need to see plant varieites in person, not just in your favorite garden design books. I can't make a decision on what's going in my garden unless I see how someone else has implemented it. Located in a residential setting, parking wasn't the first consideration when designing the layout of the farm. If you or someone you're visiting with has mobility issues, try dropping them off near the entrance before parking. The gravel path has a gentle grade and can pose risks for those prone to falls. But don't let that deter you from visiting the crown jewel of lavender farms in the area!

They have plant carts to take around the gravel/dirt pathways (I recommend grabbing one as you will probably find something you can't live without). The vegetables were located all the way in the VERY back of the property. It has been very hot lately but quite a bit of the vegetable plants looked withered and not in great shape. The cashier is at the front of the property in a greenhouse type structure that is incredibly humid. Staff were helpful and polite. They had live ladybugs!

It had always been a dream to have a greenhouse and last Christmas my husband said he wanted to…read moremake that dream come true. So he called Dennis 7 Dee's and was put in touch with Emily. She made an appointment and came to our home to discuss making this happen. Emily brought us a nice plant and a beautiful folder of greenhouse options. She had concerns about getting a greenhouse down a steep side yard. We said our good byes on a Monday and she said she would have options and prices for us on Friday. We were so excited. Friday came and went no call. Both my husband and I reached out the next week, no return call. The next week, the third Friday she responded to my husband and said she may have misspoken about getting back to us so soon. She never responded to my calls. Then she was never heard from again. Wow. We were shocked and saddened. I was titled by the staff in the Lake Oswego store as their number 1 retail customer. I guess the landscape division doesn't care if people shop there. So sadly, this double digit dream was not from them. The other team had no problem with the side yard. I guess D's does not care about their level of customer service or making a great sale. This was an epic customer service fail. If you are going to charge Nordstrom prices you better give Nordstrom customer service. I'm in love with my dream greenhouse but with Dennis 7 Dee's landscaping division, not so much. As a great customer, it is very sad.

We had taken out a number of trees in our yard and wanted a large tree that can be a focus for the…read morefront of the house. It was wonderful to be able to call Big Trees and set a time to see their trees. Daniel took us around and also helped us as we considered several types of trees. We determined that a Somerset Red Maple would be large enough and that it would be relatively easy on yard maintenance. The tour helped us decide that we really needed a tall (30' feet) to enjoy in the next few years. Big Trees was excellent at setting up a date and delivering the tree. It was amazing just to watch the equipment as they dug the hole and planted the tree (see pictures). Now we just need to follow their directions. Felix and the staff planting the tree were easy to work with. They helpled take down and reinstall part of our fence and they cleaned upt he site very well.

Not only was the selection and variety of trees fantastic, the professional advice we got from beginning to end of the process was on point and so helpful. From the initial visit being driven around the property on a golf cart to find the right tree, to the foreman's pre-planting visit, to the planting crew themselves, the entire experience was flawless. Everyone we encountered from BTT gave amazing service, had good humor, excellent communications, and took an above-and-beyond approach. Our new tree looks amazing and we are truly over the moon about it. Cannot recommend this company highly enough!
