Yes, my name is Jeff. The restaurant owners know me for several years you know when they first took over the restaurant they're very nice. The wife is so rude. I just went in there because a few months back I got my meal. I paid 14 or $15 it was right before closing. I ordered chicken lo mein large size. It was terrible. It was chicken was burnt. Everything was burnt. I told the husband the owner and he said no problem Jeff I'll help you out right now. I'm at the restaurant and the wife is so rude when I see her the next time I can't she is so rude to people people don't realize if you're not paying attention. The restaurant is dirty pay attention. See I go in there to eat if you turn the lights on in there it is gross. They need to clean the restaurant. I am so upset with the wife right now. I'm gonna report the restaurant because I go in there a lot and I order food. I'm a Doordash driver. Also 10 minutes ago I go in there I go. I want to get half price off the food like the husband said to go. Oh he's too busy. I've never met Chinese restaurant owners that are so rude. Not the husband, but her she needs to work on her customer service skills and also don't order a alcohol drink. Look up at the shelf. Just door dashed - small crab ragoons, general tso chicken and pork fried rice - $68.00. thought it was steep but thought we got it delivered. Thinking about this went to their website and prices are greatly increased for door dash. Would have cost us less than half if we went and picked it up. It was ok, we got delivery, the crab rangoons were just sad. None of them had any crab meat in it, and they had the tiniest amount of filling; it was mostly just air. The egg rolls were actually very good. The fried dumplings were only pan seared on one side and steamed on the other side, they were the largest dumplings I've ever seen, they were good, not great, just had a huge chunk of meat in it-at least no air in this filling. The beef and broccoli was pretty good and the chicken fingers were good. Nothing we got would make us order again. I've been here several times for lunch, never for supper. While the food here is pretty average to slightly above, what sets it apart locally is portion size. The portion size is above average and since prices here are competitive, this makes Bamboo House a good value. While the staff here may not be the most attentive they seemed friendly and willing to help one's individual dining needs. As far as atmosphere is concerned this place is strictly 70's strip-mall in decor. Pretty dark in the windowless dining area as well. Keno is available to play and they have a full bar out front in the windowed portion of the restaurant. Odd. Summation: If you happen to be in the area and are real hungry and like a good value then drop by. But don't drive out of your way for this average Chinese restaurant. read more

This is the worst place to go and eat Chinese food . They have bad services bad added to attitude . Their food is horrible when it's not over cook it's raw . When you order your food they end up giving you the wrong order, you go back to have it exchange and they will say NO. If you pay with debit card or credit card and you noticed that they overcharge you, you will never recuperate that money. I have known of people waiting there for at least almost 2 hours after that they'll tell you oh we forgot we to make your order. This place is consistently serving exemplary chinese food dishes. The staff is friendly and, if your a regular, they know you by name. You won't go wrong with any item on the menu. My favorites are the pan fried dumplings and the combination plates wich are all a great value for the large portions you are served. read more

I've never written a review before but I decided it was necessary as I chanced this place due to OK reviews. This food was terrible. All the meat was half globs of fat, the rice was half white, half brown, half...blob? The chicken was slimy and boneless spareribs colored oddly with more fat globs. I was sick, as in vomiting, after eating here. My husband was sick the entire next day with stomach discomfort and flu like symptoms and he's been known to endure some "interesting" food. I never post things like this but I'm still in shock how the owner handled this so I have to share : Wow I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in the service I received today, I have gone many times to bamboo house and it's always been a great experience until today! My family and I went in everything was going great until the food arrived and I noticed there was a hair on one of the chicken wings so I brought it to the attention of the waiter who was very professional apologized and took it to the back. He then apologized again and asked if I would like another plate and mid way into me answering the owner comes up and says it was a feather on the wing and I politely say no it was definitely a hair which he rolls his eyes and walks away so I tell the waiter no thank I won't order anything else. Fast forward to the end and we receive our bill and they didn't take the meal off the receipt. I pointed it out to the waiter and he says he will go and get the manager. The owner comes to the front and asks what's wrong I tell him the meal should have been taken off since I didn't get to eat it and he says next time find a place that doesn't have hair or feathers on your chicken. Which I say wow you are being very rude! We come here all the time and never have a problem which in turn he just continues to say well next time go to a restaurant that won't have hair or feathers in your food. I was so dumbfounded. There's only a star because yelp makes you put one... but here's my story.... they were SEVERELY understaffed on mother's day 2018 I went in my family we sat down the waiter took our order with out verifying the accuracy and left with out taking our drink orders 5 minutes later we got ahold of his attention and we ordered our drink orders but the look on the waiter faced looked as if he frustrated with us ... so we figured since he was there we'd ask him if he'd repeat our order he lets out a deep sigh and repeats it he got my prefer wrong I told him it was wrong and he wanted to go back and forth with me while sucking his teeth and huffing and puffing trying to convince me that what he wrote done is what I ordered he reluctantly changed my order so the food came out finally nothing was wrong so we asked politely if we could have our drinks he gets upset and throws his hands in the air and is like I'm working on it I only have two hands in a angrily manner so we decided to not touch any of our food and just walk out due to HORRIBLE.
