Very disappointed! They made a mistake and yelled at us! We've been ordering from this place for years even though it's about 20 minutes away and not inexpensive. But we won't be going back after how my wife was treated yesterday. I called in an order for pickup. They never tell you how long it will take or even give you a chance to ask. So it's a guess when it will be ready. There are times it can take over an hour but this time the wait wasn't long. However, they messed up the order. One of the items was supposed to be Moshu Vegetable but they gave us Moshu chicken. My wife is vegetarian and doesn't eat chicken. The receipt said vegetable so we didn't discover the mistake until we got home. She had to drive back which delayed us having our dinner by an hour. Instead of apologizing or giving any sort of compensation, the guy yelled at her. Said it was vegetable and not chicken. He said the pieces of chicken were egg. It was not egg. I tasted it myself. It was clearly chicken. Even if it was egg, there is no reason to be so mean to your customers. He didn't even take the lid off to check to see if he was wrong. I had egg in my rice and there was clearly a difference in looks and taste. He made a mistake and wouldn't admit it. Very poor customer service. We will not be returning! read more

This is my go-to spot for American Chinese in the valley. It's delicious and very affordable. Our 3 entrees and one to two apps are under $50 which is great value for a meal that's really two meals. Husband and I usually get beef+broccoli, veggie fried rice, orange chicken, and crab Rangoon. Sometimes scallion pancakes. He says the orange chicken is just as good as Panda Express- the inventor of orange chicken. He likes the friend rice too. I think the B+B is great. All the food is really reliably good. It's family owned and run- he cooks, she boxes food/serves and bags. Their son is often around doing his homework or on his leap pad- he's a cutie. The service is fast, although when they tell you it'll be ready in 20, it's usually more like 30-45. The restaurant has dine-in service but I've never seen anyone eating there. It's VERY clean and totally fine to dine in, but most customers seem to get take out. Bathroom is available as well. Speak clearly and know that when you pick up, you indicate your order by what you purchased. They don't take names or give a number. I've ordered take out 30+ times and have never had anything messed up or mistaken. TL;DR: great Chinese place, best around that I've found. Generous portions and prompt service. Best strictly Chinese food in the area. (As opposed to the fusion places like Kisara) The flavors are always fresh, and the food cooked to order. There really aren't any surprises here, aside from they also offer brown rice which many strictly Chinese places do not do. The spring rolls are nice. Crisp and fresh tasting. I've never gotten an overdone roll here. My current favorite is the Sesame Shrimp with Brown Rice. SO tasty and flavorful. The portions are generous, and usually feed myself and my partner. The family that runs this place are so nice, and funny. They've always been patient with me, and my family when ordering (My youngest has some serious ordering anxiety sometimes.) Their daughter is as cute as a button (and always waves goodbye to us.) I have gotten delivery now from a 3rd party delivery service and the driver told me that the place was packed (it was a Wednesday) and asked me if this place was that much better than the other place in town. I must say this is a definitely solid Chinese restaurant. I've ordered a few things that were not only excellent in flavor but also a great value. I've had the general Taos chicken, shrimp with string beans, and beef with string beans. I've also had the crab Rangoon, chicken fingers and that egg rolls. Paying $8 for a "combo" which comes with choice of rice and a "appetizer " is an excellent value. For a family of 4 to have this much flavorful food for $32 is really something special. This was the worst Chinese food I've had. Teriaki beef sticks were old - dried up and chewy. Probably from days ago. Mu Shu Pork had little besides cabbage. Not much pork. Pancakes were old and so stuck together they couldn't be pried apart. We'll never go back again. This place use to be good. What happened? read more

We took a look inside the restaurant and noted that they had several tables set up in a simple but welcoming way, so we decided we would eat there (3 of us). Big mistake. Although the food when we finally managed to order it (the server at the counter could barely understand and not speak English) was good, we had to ask for plates (paper) and utensils (given one fork each) water (refused) tea (not available for any price). Also we had to ask repeatedly for the server to wipe the table (it had sticky food on it), give us some utensils, plates and napkins and tap water in a plastic cup which was also "not available", but we were told to buy water in a plastic bottle or soda "no water". No where on their sign or menu did they say "take out only". It was a shame because the food was good but we were treated very rudely and basics for eating in were not only not provided but treated with hostility. Pat C. read more

As the driver as mentioned by Greg H. in his previous review, I was not disappointed by his wise words. As a huge fan of fast food Chinese, I have recently staved off my cravings by cooking my own at home. However, today, my cravings were not easily abated as I did not have the ingredients or the time, and my hunger was calling loudly. Recalling the good vibes from my times picking up food at Tong Sing for my third party delivery service, I headed in. Being my first visit, I opted for the traditional Sesame Chicken lunch special with pork fried rice. Though it was difficult for me to choose between that, General Tsao's, Orange, and the more delicately simple, Chicken Fingers, the helpful lady at the front desk explained to me that the differences, and I opted with Sesame Chicken for it's magical sounding name. Arriving at home, I inserted Molly's Game into the DVD player, lit up the stove for some Earl Gray, and popped open the lunch container. Inside, the chicken was hot, tender, and crispy at the same time. Aromatic fried rice paired beautifully with each morsel of chicken--and alas, three, not two florets of broccoli. At some point during all this, I reached for the eggroll wrapped in the traditional waxed paper. My tepid in my movements, were an attempt to hide the actuality of this being the favorite part of my Chinese fast food meals. If you order Chinese takeout without an eggroll, did you really order Chinese takeout? The curry is really good but the lady on the phone is a BIG B and a little b. Rude AF. I asked for the shrimp appetizer and she kept repeating that she had no clue what that was. There's only two options... and finally after 5 back and forth of her "not knowing" and me not knowing (bc I don't work there) she asked me to clarify which one, knowing damn well she should have done that in the first place. WORST RESTAURANT EVER!!! They never put part of my order in the bag. Told me that I had to drive back and retrieve it. REFUSED TO REFUND THE $$ TO MY CARD AFTER I SAID THAT I DID NOT WANT THE FOOD THAT THEY FORGOT TO BAG UP. Argued with me for over twenty minutes. I finally showed back up to collect a cash refund because that was my only option. I asked for a copy of my credit card receipt. ONCE AGAIN THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A COPY. Then asked to see my original receipt. YUP YOU GUESSED IT. THEY REFUSED! I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a restaurant!!! Their customer service is NON EXISTENT! Very nice people, fast service, and the most flavorful egg rolls around. The chicken fingers are kind of lame, but the staple main dishes are tasty, pretty cheap, and none of the sauces taste like they came out of a jar. They use lots of garlic and fresh ginger in their chicken and broccoli, which I enjoy. This is one of the better places around for Chinese take out, 2nd best in Easthampton in my opinion, but the atmosphere is not good for sitting down since it's very small, and you will smell like Chinese food all day. *be advised: the smell will stick to your hair and clothing, even of you're only there for a few minutes. read more

One of, if not the only, tasty & clean Chinese take-out restaurants in Easthampton. No frills carry out or eat-in, great food and good customer service. And the prices are very reasonable too. Very good take-out. Not greasy, no overcooked vegetables, fresh ingredients, not expensive with generous portions. We (three of us) had large hot and sour soup, steamed vegi dumplings, scallops in garlic sauce, Tso's tofu and one spring roll.
