This is the "mild" general sao. That has no spice to it what so ever and as the owner said it should be sweet and spicy.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First my bourbon chicken with fried rice is boiled chicken thighs in vegetable stock and oil with more vegetables than meat. Not to mention my fried rice had no egg and was a yellow rice not proper fried rice. This place should be ashamed to be in business and serve people the food that they are. I informed the owner that they must have forgotten the mild spice for the general sao and he insisted that honey chicken is what I ordered. Please don't waste your money here. 25 for 2 to eat... could have went to a F rated chain restaurant and would have tasted better and been just as cost effective. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TASTE BUDS AND YOUR WALLET!

Consistently good product. Family owned joint of this sole location and the husband/wife team overseeing it practically live here! Bathrooms exceptionally clean - modest dining area with Chinese lacquered tabletops. Personal favorites: H19, 112, 81 and H16. You can call it in, but it takes virtually no time to make it, so I order on location and walk over to either Publix or Panera for whatever else I need.

Freshest and most tasty Chinese food around. My brother and I love this place. Very happy to have this take-out restaurant in Tallahassee.

Horrible! They should be ashamed to serve this food. It is nowhere close to being decent Asian food. Gross stay away.

I ended up getting a bento tray and Mongolian beef. Everything was realy good and every feeling. Great Asian cuisine for a cheat day and overall quality of the food was very good. Babies crying, people jumbled everywhere, and a buffet setup that was super packed together near everything else. The good: host sat me quickly and my server was polite and super quick. I guess they got this down to a science? The bad: everything else. How the heck are these reviews high? This place was packed but I felt like if I coughed, it would be all over my neighbor and the food. It was a cluster f. I did the buffet. While they had a lot of options, it was jam packed together. And you bumped into people trying to squeeze through some areas. The sushi was mediocre. The sweet and sour chicken was off. The fried rice wasn't warm. Even my tap water tasted funny. I couldn't finish my hot sake because it tasted off. The wasabi and ginger even looked funky (I will say the wasabi had a nice kick). Best part of my meal was leaving. The miso soup was the only decent part. I should have learned my lesson from previous Asian fusion places but I guess I trusted the reviews on this one. It's clear to me; a lot of people don't have an educated palate.

Something that vegans and non-vegans will appreciate alike. I'm also a big fan of their Pad Thai and Mapo tofu (spicy and tofu is not crispy). This place is not trying to be anything fancy, but it over delivers on the quality of food.

I went to sit in the car because they are take out only and I had a dog in the car. The woman at the counter is always so friendly and I adore her lilting voice. She came out to tell me my food was ready so I went into get it. The hot and sour soup had too much cornstarch in it and it was not as flavorful as I remembered. I threw it away. The Tahu Isi was tofu filled with veggies, cabbage, onion, carrots and battered and fried. It was good but a little greasy. I liked it though and would probably order it again. The oil probably wasn't hot enough. The beef rendang had a wonderful curry aroma. I put a few spoons of it over the white rice. It was spicy with a good flavor. The meat was tender but some pieces had entirely too much fat connected. One bite was all fat. I liked the spice but be forewarned- it isn't for the faint of heart. It was good but I wished they would trim the meat more but fat is flavor. I'll come back for lunch and see if the beef Mongolian is as good as I remember.
