This is one of my daughter's favorite restaurants, though my husband and I had never tried it before. We decided to take the plunge, though I wasn't up for anything heavy. We called in the order for pick-up. I simply ordered a "kid's meal" of teriyaki chicken and mashed potatoes, plus veggies. My daughter had the beef yaki soba, which is her absolute favorite; my husband ordered the crispy duck. We also ordered edamame, shrimp rolls, and avocado rolls. Everything was tasty. My husband enjoyed the duck; though the duck looked a bit too "crispy" to me, it was tasty :-). Of note, I had a sampling of my daughter's meal, which was a very generous portion. The ramen wheat noodles were perfectly seasoned! Everything was really fresh tasting. Shrimp and grits are on the menu as well - who would have thought? I will give that menu item a try at some point as well.

I came for lunch and started with Thom Kah soup- chicken. I had asked for it medium and it was delicious. Much better than at their other location. I ordered the Res Curry with chicken - medium and the spring rolls (since I already had soup). The rolls were good and crispy. My green curry was superb. I'll be visiting them for lunch again. My dining partner had miso soup which he said was just OK. He also ordered a bento box - it looked like chicken. It came with tempura vegetables. The batter rather thick and not light and crunchy like the tempura at Kiku's. I will stay with the Thai dishes and try some sushi next time.

Interested in some Thai food or some Chinese food? Try Siam Bistro. Located just off Thomasville Rd near Killearn Lakes, it's easy to miss. Very nicely decorated and with very friendly staff. Wife and I started with gyoza. We normally ordered ours steamed, but it's only offered pan fried. We said what the heck. Wow are we glad to we did, it was wonderful!!! Dinner the wife ordered Chinese; Mongolian beef. That caught my attention because it's was $28 bucks, almost twice as much as a normal dinner. There was a reason, there was enough for two, the menu should reflect. That being said, it was delicious. I ordered drunken noodles with chicken (mild) and it too was delicious. We both had ice tea, which was fresh. Service was great. He kept coming back inquiring. The only issue, which pee's off the wife, is the server asking me if I want more tea and not her. Not think to do since we pay our own half. I asked for more tea for both of us. That gives me a better tip.

WOW. I can NOT say enough GOOD things about this place! I ordered several things on my first visit in order to test this place out. I am a true lover of Thai and have had Thai food all over the US. This place BLEW ME AWAY. I came in on a Saturday at 630p. Apparently several others had the same idea because it filled up immediately upon my arrival in less than ten minutes. I saw only two servers and got worried it might take a while and I didn't have a lot of time. My lovely server Katie came over and placed my large order right away and the kitchen got it out quickly. Every single thing was top notch. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the chicken in the satay, it was good just not amazing by itself but as soon as I dressed it with the DELICIOUS peanut sauce it was great! I ordered a salad with their homemade ginger dressing that was so good I ordered a large side to take home with me. I ordered basil fried rice, green curry, panang curry and massaman curry with veg and fried tofu. The vegetables were plenty, bright and fresh! The tofu was perfectly cooked. The sauces were each unique from each other, delicious and thick. They made everything without fish sauce upon my request. I couldn't have asked for anything more- truly. Katie asked how it was and I simply said, "holy shit". I got up to speak to the owner to tell her how wonderful everything was and she said she was watching everything that was coming to my table. The food was completely reasonably priced. I felt like it was a steal. The other server, Zooey (sp?) was just as lovely and helpful. The host and food runner were equally as charming. I CAN NOT WAIT to go back and bring friends! I drove over an hour to get there so it means a lot to me when it's worth it. Thank you Siam Bistro!!

I came for lunch and started with Thom Kah soup- chicken. I had asked for it medium but it was not spicy at all. Just an over abundance of lime. The chicken in it tasted on the verge of going bad but not quite yet. I was hoping the panang curry would have different chicken. I also had some spring rolls which were OK. Again, I ordered the curry medium but it was very mild. I asked if lunch came with white rice or fried. It came with white and the waiter asked if I would like fried. I said yes but wish he had told me that there was a $5 up charge. I probably would not have ordered it but it was very good. The veggies in the curry were terrific and the sauce was OK but nothing special this time. Overall, this lunch was OK but not stellar. The restroom was very clean!

My family and I LOVE Siam Bistro. We go multiple times a month (in-person or take-out). They have the best fried rice I've ever had in my life. We also enjoy the drunken noodles and almost all the apps. I've never had a bad dish from Siam Bistro. It's always a hit and we obviously recommend it. They have a great staff as well. They are always helpful, kind and the service is very speedy. The location is nice. It's has a decent amount of seating and is always clean. Check it out!

Well, the Covid19 made dining fairly easy and my table was just 1 of 2 yesterday prior to the close of sit down restaurant dining. The service was attentive and quick. I ordered the Tallahassee roll and Philly roll. The Tallahassee roll was great and filling. The Philly roll was too loosely put together. It fell apart and could have been constructed better. The calamari was nicely done and the dipping sauces were on par. Overall, this was a good experience.

The dining area is not very spacious, but is intimate, which I really like. We enjoyed the background music, which was along the lines of smooth jazz. Our server was super nice and explained in great detail, the specials for the day. We started the meal with several appetizers: Spring Rolls, Fried Calamari, and Crab Cheese Wontons. We enjoyed the appetizers along with the sauces (except for the peanut sauce, which I didn't care for). For our entrees, we choose from the Specials menu, which was written on a board for all to see. I ordered the Red Snapper, which was fried and topped with carrots, baby tomatoes, onions, pineapple and cilantro. Had I been listening as I should, I would have asked to not include the pineapples or the loads of cilantro. The dish came with a side of rice. My husband ordered the ribs and chicken entree with noodles. He said the ribs were good; they were so tender that they slide off the bone. Both entrees were tasty; in my case, a quick fix was to push the cilantro and the pineapples to the side and enjoy my fish with just the veggies. To add to our dining experience, the chef and/or owner came out ask if we were enjoying our meal; love the special touch. We finished the meal with an order of ice cream that we shared. I am usually fine with just plain vanilla ice cream, but what we ordered was different and quite delicious. The ice cream is "home-made" and comes in exotic flavors. We choose the mango tea ice cream; it was mouthwatering! Overall, we had an enjoyable dinner and plan to return to sample other menu items. Note, if paying with a card, there is a fee (no fee with cash).

We just got back tonight and honestly - why didn't we send our food back. We had the Thai scallops in lemon grass - scallops were old and full of sand, the dish was horrible, rice was old (RICE!!!), the soup was horrible, full of house mushrooms with watery coconut flavor. The last time, we got eggplant that was raw and hard in a dish. Things have little flavor. Don't know why this place is popular. It's not very good. We kept mentioning to our waiter (not his fault) that it was bad but he just kept saying, 'sorry' . Sorry, let's offer another suggestion and try to keep a customer-lets' discuss with the chef and make a change - NOPE just sorry. DON'T GO HERE FOLKS - bad food.

Also ordered the hibachi salmon which came with salad and other items. Tasty and my friend seemed to have liked it. Service was good and attentive. And the ambiance is homey at least for dinner, not too loud and good. We also ordered the udon with chicken thai stir fry style. Decent portions, my mom and I shared. Came with a lot of peppers and mushrooms which we liked. Did wish there was a little more noodles though. A little spicy and sweet. Flavors were fine overall, not the best I've ever had but was solid. Maybe it's just the rising costs of everything but definitely did not expect to spend as much as I did especially in Tallahassee.

The service was very good, and the mango mojito was well crafted. This was all because the poor guy was host, bartender, server, and bus boy. The food, on the other hand, was a different story. We started by ordering Chicken 65 and Samosas for an appetizer. They took forever and came out barely warm. For dinner, my wife ordered the chicken korma and I the Chole (Chana) Masala. We also ordered the butter naan and the cheese and garlic naan. My wife's dish was okay. It's not as good as several other places in town. My dish was really weird. It's one of my favorites, usually, but this came out as a thin brown sauce with chickpeas that has just been taken out of the can...a bit al dente. This was not the usually thick masala that I've had many other places. This sank right through the rice. It was not good and I did not take it home as leftovers. The naan, for which you pay $3-4 was a single piece of naan cut into four pieces. The garlic cheese naan had garlic butter and a cheese powder of some sort sprinkled on top. Not a good value. There are other, more amazing Indian restaurants in town that we will continue to frequent. We've given this two tries and won't be back.
