Overall, this is your standard New York style Chinese takeout type place. It is located in a shopping plaza where a Publix is the anchor store, so parking is not really an issue. The ambiance is nothing fancy, but I did not expect it to be. The staff working here were friendly enough. The menu is pretty much filled with what you would expect from a New York style takeout Chinese place. They are not straying far from what you would expect from a New York style Chinese takeout place, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. There is a reason so many people love New York style Chinese takeout type food. The restaurant wasn't the best that I had, but I did not see a lot of food options in the area, so I upped it at least a star for offering a Chinese food option. My other options appeared to be a Subway, a Wendy's, or something from Publix. With the limited restaurant choices at this exit for lunch, I will give them four stars. When I was local to them, they were a four, when I was here for pretty much the fourth quarter 2018 with work up the street. And in those days I hit them up often enough for easy cheap lunch to know they're really rather inconsistent. Sometimes you get something really rather nice, other times, not so nice. This review is good and bad for an average 3 stars. The good is that the Garlic Shrimp dish along with fried rice I ordered was quite good. The sauce was flavorful and delicate. The Large order provided a good number of nice sized shrimp with the accompanying vegetables.. So I enjoyed that. On the other hand my wife ordered Chicken Fried Rice. Clean & convenient location where there aren't many food options. Food was nice and crispy fried but not too oily, but that's about where the good things end. I got sweet and sour chicken combo with an egg rolls and an order of crab rangoons. The crab Rangoons had very little flavor & the rice had absolutely no flavor. It was yellow but you could tell there was zero seasonings or sauce put on it while cooking. The chicken was fried nice, but the sweet and sour sauce had a very odd taste to it. The egg roll , again, while fried well, was 99% cabbage and severely lacked seasoning. I used the online ordering and got an almost immediate confirmation. I showed up eight minutes early, and the food was ready in about three minutes. The cashier was polite. The food was good and hot. We really like this one. We have tried beef and broccoli, several chicken dishes and lo mein. All were good. Hot and sour soup and egg drop were delicious as well. I wish they had online ordering or delivery but besides that no complaints. read more

One of our favorite restaurants in Tallahassee. It's pretty much take-out only, good prices and great food. My husband loves the garlic chicken (add extra veggies) and I like the Kung Po Shrimp or the Mei Fun. I love that you can watch the food being cooked in large woks, fire blazing. I regret posting a less than positive review for a small business, but the take out meal I bought from this restaurant this evening is not an experience I want to repeat. I ordered Beef with Brocolli, spring rolls, and an egg roll. Spring rolls, in my experience, can be a reliable indicator of the overall quality of the food in Asian restaurant. These were some of the most tasteless and definitely undercooked spring rolls I've experienced. The rest of the meal was likewise bland and largely undercooked. The beef actually had an unpleasant taste. Eleven dollars and tip, wasted, and I still need to come up with supper. read more

Okay, been ordering here for years as it's the closest restaurant to the Staybridge Suites where I stay during legislative session. Always been good as Chinese takeout can be. However, tonight I had four (4) human hairs in my shrimp with snow peas. Called and got the required apology and insisted on a refund. But, come on. I lived in Asia over a year in the military and never had such an experience. I'm not squimish but four definitive human hairs in one dish almost has to be purposeful. Won't eat there again after years of patronage. Feel like the health department should check the place out. read more

I live very close to this restaurant and have eaten here at least monthly since they opened. Recently they hired a girl who is just plain mean. She doesn't smile, she rarely speaks, and has slammed the tip jar in front of me on several occasions before I've even had the chance to pay for my food. I choose to drive another 10 minutes out of the way to Japanica for better service and to pay maybe just a little bit more. read more
